Is ok app i like it, i has everithing i already have and allows you to change the color theme, that's a plus, but i am looking for an mp3 player than can crossfade songs, may be it has that feature but not appear in my galaxy s4. I don't really need it but i will keep it on eye for more newer cell phones, this app is great overall, it is just that i have all those features in my samsung mp3 player already, except the color theme changing option.

Pretty good app, i don't know why some people on the comments said you could download music from this app, is certainly not the case. But it's useful as an alternative to previous Google media player, keeps your music organized. It would be even better to be able to download / listen to podcasts. So that would be cool to have as a feature.

Used to enjoy this app, until i made an update, since I updated it, whenever I connect earphones it has an earsplitting sound! Had to uninstall and reinstall. But nothing changed! If you guys can fix that, then everything will be ok. Also if I want to delete a song it asks for permission, even if I go to the root file it doesnt delete! 😡

It does everything it says, but I've noticed with the new update it doesnt run songs if you search the artist and click on it. You have to go to the options for the artist and click play. Its annoying but not app breaking. I highly recommend this app. Maxound updates it frequently for bugs and compatibility. I have it on both my laptop and my phone and it works amazingly. It has ads on the bottom of the screen, but they don't interfere and for a free player I'm amazed. (As previously stated...)

the last update killed it. i've been using it for over 2 years now (at least), and it's been a hood app all these years, the best one in fact imo. the last update though (downloaded it on the 28th of Jan) made it unusable for me. app crashes regularly, doesn't show music (just a black screen), and when it does work i still can't use some functions of it (eg.: the music is playing, but i can't select the other song etc.) beg you to fix it, since my experience with the app has been pleasant so far

After Google play ended, like everyone else I've been trying to find a simple, ad free MP3 player to use that doesn't take a lot of memory up in your phone and I think I have found it!! The one widget I use for my home screen doesn't have a back-up button. If you could add one to it would be awesome!! Other than that it's a great app!! 👍

I've probably used this app for a few years now, it's been all nice and dandy up until today. The shuffle is as good as ever, but if I want to edit the tag of a song at all it forces the file to my internal storage. This is fairly annoying since I don't have much space on my phone but my SD card has tons. I'm finally moving on.

This is my far the best MP3 player app available and has been for well over a decade. Not all of us like streaming as many of us go places where there's no Internet available. MP3 Player has always had my back, as I've always been able to listen to my MP3 library (which can never change unlike streaming) wherever I go. So happy you're still supporting this in 2024!

Tag editor works, you can put album art on, it's user friendly and plays my music well. Why these simple things are so hard to find in a player is beyond me. Wish I could edit tags without playing the track but that's a minor quibble. Cautiously giving five stars. If there are problems I will return and give a more detailed review but so far so good. Bonus points for the app button looking like it does on my phone as it does in the playstore. Like I said simple things. Good job guys!

The apps great but it's just that it only supports wav & mp3 files and nothing more. Another problem I have is that everytime I make a playlist, minutes later it just disappears. If there was an update where all audio files were supported that'd be great and also one where there was more customization options like removing cover art so it'd be transparent, I feel like it would be better to use

I like this music selection. One problem is the music skips on each song near the beginning. I've been using this app for a couple of years now I do like it very much. But when I am playing music on my car stereo it stops sometimes and that gets really annoying to me. but over all I like this app and will keep using it.

I like it but it needs work. There's no shuffle. I found it once by accident, but it's gone now. The interface should be easier I think. Creating playlists also seems more difficult than it should be. I'm updating this to say that the folder function doesn't work anymore either. If I scrolled across the top to folder, I could navigate to my music folders and play one. Now that function does nothing. I can't navigate to anything. This app went downhill. I'll find something better

It does what it says in the title and does it well, the only issue that I have ever had with it was that my mp3 files would occasionaly not show when opening the app but that was fixed with a simple restart of the app (more of a minor inconvenience than a big issue), has a built in equalizer so you can adjust the music to your liking based on the headphones you have (which I have used a couple times). Overall a highly suggested app.

The app is OK. Couple of things. 1. I would like to see a checkmark next to the current sorting order. 2. Same with Shuffle, if it is on, there should be a checkmark. When I open the app, I may prefer to play songs based on the current sorting status or Shuffle. There is no way to figure out what's the current status. 3. When I search and play a particular song, after it ends, the player stops. When I tap on the 'next' button (two arrows) nothing happens. When I tap on the Play button (one arrow) the song is repeated. The only way to continue playing other songs is to hit the back button and tap on any song in the album. I would like to have an option for the app to automatically continue playing music without a need to tap on any buttons

This is the best looking MP3 player on the Google play store. Why? It shows genres and artists without a bunch of useless pictures that are unrelated. It also has a time section to sort by year. It shows a directory view as well if you're into that. THE SONGS HAVE THE ALBUM ART NEXT TO IT. MP3 Cutter? Yes. The problem is it doesn't show songs when searching sometimes, you can't go to an album directly from the song you're listening to, and songs often are out of order, something to do with tags

Love the app for downloading free music. Easy to link with my car's stereo system via Bluetooth. However, there are two major features missing that would bring my rating up to 5 stars. First, I wish this app had an option to set songs on repeat because I love listening to newly downloaded songs over & over again. The second feature I wish the app had, would be the ability to rename songs because some of the songs I've downloaded are titled by numbers rather than by the actual title of the songs.

Good app. Fairly simple and easy to use. I like the fact it shows me recent songs I add. The equalizer has good useful features. The only thing I would change is where the option to view my playlist is located. I wish the option to view my playlist was added up top where it shows the list of categories where song, artist, album, etc. is at. I recommend trying!
