Best thing about this app, and best reason to use it, is that it has exclusive bonus features on many movies. I have hundreds of movies I own only on Digital and it's cool to see bonus features from the disc release on here even on older titles from Gone with the Wind to Singin' in the Rain to Unforgiven all with hours of featurettes. Other apps do not do that. Bonus content you can't get on Vudu. I can't get enough. MA! Please add an Xbox or PS4 app!

Works fine. Good customer Service. It allowed me to sync supported movies between Amazon Prime Video, VUDU, iTunes Movies, and Google Play Movies. Only certain Studios participate and only certain movies from their catalogues. Once when my syncing stopped with VUDU, I had to call customer service and they fixed me. (I had inadvertently created another account somehow.) They even take requests to add movies to the supported list, (but that is at the whim of the studios, not Movies Anywhere. )

I like the app concept and I like even more that they have integrated Microsoft movies and TV, except that they haven't integrated TV (understandable Since its movies everywhere and not movies and TV everywhere but I would still like to be able to bring my walking dead over from Microsoft and my fear the walking dead over from Google). With that said the customer support really depends on who you get. I followed up what I was told to do only to get conflicting information to what was said to and when I questioned it I never heard from them again.

Love the app. Really really hate that I cannot choose the order of my movies. A-Z and release dates aren't enough. When I have series and number 2 comes before number 1, OR when a movie in a series is completely off the grid somewhere else! This may be small for some but it would really make a difference in the app experience. This is my collection and it is important to me.

I'm on android. best option for movie buys, google play. HOWEVER, best option for playback for said buys is movies anywhere. Google's video player on Roku (I've got a 4k TCL roku tv) is garbage. it can't even remember where I left off if I have to have a RL moment. MA does, and shows all the special features I should get with the purchase. side note... get paramount on board, UV is dead. Also, I had an issue, and had a fix within 10 mins from support

Great app. Plays perfectly. The issue now I'm seeing for the pass week or more is when I buy a movie from any of my movie places.(Vudu, Google) I always had it as recently added and all the movies I just bought would pop up in correct order.Now it's showing all different movies that I have..not in the order of recently added. No matter what I do..set it to release date, A to z and back recently added still wrong, hopefully it get fixed.I don't want to be looking for a movie i just got everytime.

Was working great through chromecast, but no longer. I have reset webview and chromecast built-in on the TV, as well as cleared cache/ data. Uninstalled/ reinstalled the app. I can play movies through the app. The app will connect through chromecast, display the logo. When I click play, it will show the backdrop of the movie, after about 5-10 secs, stops and goes back to the movies anywhere logo. Other apps connect and display without any issues. Clicking preview works fine, just not the movie

This app works part of the time. Sometimes refuses to play movies at random and holds them hostage. Will be looking for a new app that plays my purchased digital movies. edit: yes, I cleared cache, forced stop, uninstalled and reinstalled. This has been going on for months as shown by other reviews yet nothing is being done. You. Will. Lose. Business.

It's a really good app I like how you can do a screen pass so you can share movies but I like VUDU a lot more and have been using it for years now and I don't plan on changing that anytime soon unless I have to. Plus half my movies didn't transfer to Movies Anywhere due to license agreements it is a shame you guys have to deal with that though

Been using the service for almost 3 years now on on different devices. Love the new lists, just wish they would play consecutively non-stop, like a play list, hopefully that might happen later. Great service & app, especially like being able to watch my movies on any platform I want, no matter where it was purchased. Hopefully more studios will join in soon but that's not MA's fault. One other improvement I'd really like to see is pricing for all the movies, like how it's shown on the sales.

Redeeming digital download codes is easy and watching the movie works great one time.. afterwards getting the movie to restart is a hassle. An option to either restart where you left off or start from the beginning would be an excellent addition to this app. Thank you for fixing the app. It still doesn't have a button to restart, but it now automatically restarts. I've reset my evaluation... great app.!

Overall a great app, but I have one big complaint. I'm able to "resume watching" on YouTube or Movies and TV on my PC, yet this app doesn't do that at all. It seems like a bizarre feature to just leave out when nearly all modern streaming services have this. Video quality is otherwise excellent, and audio is highly immersive, especially with headphones.

This is an update to my previous review, the customer service was so great to email me very quickly and did not stop until my issue was fixed! So this app is great, i can listen to speakers or Bluetooth earbuds with no delay, there is a "download for offline" feature which works great and it gives you all information about the video/Movie (Genre, Director, Ratings, etc.) I will definitely be using this more and more!

I only give reviews to the apps that completely satisfy my personal needs. Watching movies, is a personal need, that I enjoy. Streaming movies is a new concept to me, but the competition has been a disappointment. To save precious data space, I opted out of the HD version, however, this app definitely surprised me with the quality of the Standard version...as a movie buff, I am recommending this app to many family, friends, and co-workers!

I have had movies anywhere for a few years and always loved the fact when I went on long trips in the car I was able to cast my phone to my multimedia center display Kenwood excelon and be able to watch my movies in the car with kids and have really an awesome experience with a long road trip. My phone is an Android device and my receiver can do Android and Apple devices for the last few months it would only play the sound and not show the picture I hoped the bugs worked itself out but has not.

It's a decent app, good picture quality, convenient access, and an invaluable service having all your purchases in one place. However, I have a real issue with the design on the Android TV version of the app. Why does this app default to stereo sound on Android TV? No other movie streaming service does this. For EVERY film I watch, I have to go into the setting after starting the film and manually change the audio to "English 5.1" EVERY SINGLE TIME. EDIT: Latest update has resolved this issue!

This app is amazing, I absolutely love the idea of having all my movies (most of them) in one place to watch anywhere. I also like how they added my Microsoft account films to the mix. Certain studios I really wish were added (Paramount, lionsgate) so I can have my whole collection, which is why I give it 4 stars now. Well done overall! (This review has been updated)

2 years ago, this app was awkward, frustrating, and struggled with updates. I rated it 3 stars back then, because it still functioned as a way to keep your digital movies in one place. Today, I realized it needed to be re-rated. It is smooth, intuitive, and well connected. The User Interface is understandable, the movies are easily watchable (especially with downloading), and finding new movies is a cinch. Good job guys.

I love the idea of having better access to digital content that I have purchased. So much easier than hunting apps to find what I know I have bought. I think that movies anywhere has a great idea, with massive room for potential. A lot of times digital content can be more or just as expensive as buying a physical object for some reason. Even though a lot less goes into the production for digital and No compensation for unused content. Movies anywhere makes it a little bit easier.

I mainly downloaded this so I can have the movies on my youtube and microsoft account in one place. Unfortunately, the number of studios they don't have access to must be pretty large, because out of my two dozen-ish movies on both accounts altogether, only two movies show up in the app. I'd wait until this app has a larger library of movies to access before making an account, if all you're using it for is putting all of your digital movies in one place.
