App used to work with a Sony TV, but now only some of the videos play. Play symbol on screen, cannot do anything with it. 1.4 onwards affected. App up to date. The live stream was working for a while, then back to the play symbol. There is something different about some of the on demand videos, which work all the time. So devs, test thoroughly!

New update's Videopass page still shows spoilers if you accidently scroll too far and see highlights. New version does not show all of the completed sessions for rewatching on the schedule page (e.g. so far at Silverstone only 4 of the 15 sessions that should be available are working). Navigation is clunky and counterintuitive. App is inconvenient. Why update midseason instead of winter break???

Why can't you guys just leave the app alone. Stop trying so hard it's just a video streaming app.. All we need is to watch the video live or stream it on demand afterwards. Everyone else has it figured out and they don't charge half as much as you guys. Can't even stream the video on the website. It's in some wired VR mode where it's zoomed in and it moves when you move the phone.

Fastest broadband internet available anywhere streaming 4K movies in multiple rooms with no issue. And yet MotoGP manages to skip and cut out (being the only thing streaming). Do better Dorna. Video pass cost to much for this to suck this bad. They spent a lot on features of the app (camera angles and all) not on the ability to use them without issue.

I don't know what you've been doing to this app over the last several months, but it feels like there has been a concentrated campaign to make this app a metaphorical paper weight. I haven't been able to stream through the app in months. It started with getting logged out and having to sign in again everytime I opened it. Then it would forget my settings to open in the spoiler free page, then the streams would never show up and now I can't even login at all. Fix it!

New version of the MotoGP app is terrible. It used to be good. Videos are missing the bookmark tabs, which was a convenient way to skip to certain highlights of the race. Horizontal orientation only works one way, which makes it hard if phone's plug is on one end facing outlet. Dark theme doesn't apply to all screens. Please go back to original.

Gentlemen, your new app sucks. Version 3.0.7 . It locks up into a pinwheel "working" logo and won't allow exit or navigation away. Cookies' choice screen won't allow the choice of no cookies or any other combination other than enable all or enable none. You're going to get litigation from that screen. The "consent" dimming and darkness are stupid. Yes or no is the choice. Put a button for both. Still locked up now, It's not an " inconvenience" it's deceptive. Roku app is a nightmare.

Not a fan of the latest update. Putting that aside I still can't believe there's not a feature that keeps track of progress of each event or video you've seen or paused. I usually watch races back to back a few weeks late and either have to write down the last event I watched or try to remember where I'm at. It's standard in all streaming services at this point. Unacceptable that this is not included already.

EDIT: The app has been updated and you don't have to watch the practices and races real-time. It took months for the feature to come back. I am raising my raising my rating as a result. ORIGINAL REVIEW: The summer update took away the no-spoiler and archive on the TV. To watch MotoGP on your TV, you have to watch it live or cast it from another device. It's really disappointing that they put out something missing very important functionality. It should have never gone out that way.

I have a love/hate relationship with this app/service. For the price it costs for a single season subscription ($163+ USD) is absurd to begin with, but for some of us this is the only way of watching the races since most providers no longer carry the channel that runs them. Anyway, onto the app... it seems to buffer a bit too often and reminders for ALL portions of a race weekend never seem to work. Too buggy for the cost, and STILL only 1080?? It's almost 2020... where's the 4K streaming? Weak.

Terrible quality. It just barely works, but ths video playing experience is incredibly buggy. If you're using chromecast you would be lucky if you can get it to play live, but don't expect to be able to navigate back and forth the video, UI elements appear and diaappear, the player might start live or from the beginning, no way to tell, it's just random. It might cast or not. Looks like it's developed by an intern on their spare time.

The summer break update has ruined this app for me. There is no longer a spoiler free mode, and selecting the video you want to watch is difficult because you can't tell which events happened in what order anymore. The TV app is worse, and I have completely given up on it. I'm going to just cast from my phone. Paying almost $200 for a yearly subscription should not result in this horrible user interface and experience. Making an app pretty doesn't mean you should make it impractical.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Can't find a Spoiler Free selection. Can find only a random few past races, where previously, one could look at each session from any previous Gran Prix weekend. It's not just that it's hard to find. I am pretty sure past races aren't even available, except for a few cherry picked races. I absolutely hate it. Give me the old app and web site. It's like they changed it to be like the old World SBK site, which was awful & where it was impossible to find anything.

**UPDATE** The app has been updated and now no longer has spoilers in the thumbnails. The new thumbnails now just show the name of the session, which is perfect. Thanks for listening! There is no longer a spoiler free section in this app, the web player, or the Roku app. All the videos have thumbnails. It was perfect before, why did you guys change it?

The new update is a UI/UX nightmare if you want to watch anything other than the current season. 6 taps to find a previous seasons races plus a lot of scrolling. The videos aren't partitioned by rounds, just a long list of video thumbnails to search through. Then, the video won't autorotate properly in both directions. If you want to watch with the right hand side if your phone down, you get to see the race upside down. I've switched to the website which is only better because rotate works.

The 2023 update is TERRIBLE. For years it has been a wonderful experience; easy-to-use, intuitive, clear, concise and simple. Now, it is an absolute mess. Heavy on graphical user interaction, where before it took one click to find what I wanted, it now takes 4 swipes, 8 clicks and endless scrolling. And spoilers everywhere! And bonus - it won't auto-rotate now! It makes me want to cry every time I use it. The Roku update is exactly the same. They destroyed the user experience entirely.

Jun2024: THANK YOU for removing the spoiler video thumbnails!! I appreciate that they listened to fans and fixed that. However, there are still a lot of issues remaining. E.g. the screen STILL AUTO-ROTATES ONLY ONE DIRECTION. Navigation and search is a bit of a mess. Controls overlay is way too dark. Wish list: minimize to miniplayer, audio only w/ screen off, playback speed control, pinch to zoom, persistent playback options. Also, Matt Birt needs to talk less. Like, half as many words. Please.
