Everything works great but there's a few things that could be improved. Moto Voice can't be set as the standard assistant app in settings and I think there should be that option because even though it's in beta still it is already load better than Google assistant. Also it needs to look at Bluetooth settings for media and phone call outputs because it is constantly trying to use my radio vs using the headset I have on for calls. Everything else is fantastic though.

Updating from 1 to a 3. Before the last update (finally have my wallpapers back that were lost after the previous update) my phone froze for 9 hours. It kept restarting & then just stopped working, touchscreen, buttons, etc. then all of the sudden worked again. It does work better now so there's that. It's mainly the stylus that's so frustrating. They always stop working. The lack of font variety and background colors are annoying but not nearly as important since everything else works great.

Rough start to what could've been decent UX. Went into the app to turn off the "approach" feature because it's super annoying when you're next to it and the screen continuously wakes back up, and the app won't let me proceed unless I approve it getting permission to my contacts... but why? Why does it want my contacts, and also that seems like user blackmail to block me from using an app that I didn't choose to install but which negatively impacts my life. Bad app. Go to your room.

Great app rly! I love all of the extra features, it makes it so much more fun and easy to have the phone when everything is just right there organized in front of you, but normalize being able to turn of proximity sensors😐 whenever I'm on my way somewhere and I'm playing a mobile game while on a call, the screen goes completely black. Even if I'm not on the call screen with all the buttons I just think it should Otomaticly turn it off when not on the call screen 😐

There are so many things that makes it hard to recommend Motorola... My main feedback is that it seems optimized to make it difficult to control by the user, which seems deliberate and may serve this vendor's ability to gather and share your personal information. There is no way to clear all the app's caches at once, which is a feature available on my previous Android phone.

This annoying floating "gesture" dot on my screen CONSTANTLY is very annoying and I cannot find a setting to turn it off. It's in the way 90% of the time and I'm tired of moving it around to access what it's covering. Please STOP forcing useless apps onto my phone. In less than a months time with this phone, I'm 99% I'm switching to a Pixel, so thanks for the wasted money Moto. I used to enjoy the Moto experience but you changed and unless there's a timely response this phone trash!!

This is the biggest waste of money ever spent . I can't trust the time to not jump ahead or behind by up to six hours. It vibrates for no reason I have to mute it to sleep. I get double and quadruple messages. Can't find any fixes for anything. Thinking the screen is made of highly scratchable material as I have never had a scratch on any other phone I've owned. Not impressed.

The phone constantly turns itself on and it is annoying. Features are hard to find. The stylus doesn't always work. The volume lowers itself automatically which makes me hate this phone. This phone isn't user friendly and the apps create duplicates after you use it and I hate that I cannot lock the apps so they cannot be moved around. I pressed post 5 times. Nothing

Overall very good, and adds to Android a lot of gestures I enjoyed in Windows Mobile that are missing in base Android, and adds a whole bunch more. However, the current version of the app has a major bug with the Do Not Disturb (flip phone facedown) gesture: When DND is activated, and headphones are used, the volume is increased to the max, resulting in it being deafeningly loud if music is being played. So, this gesture is currently unusable if you play music.

I hate interface updates & new features that are not able to or are difficult to disable. The clock appearance settings are actually broken. It defaults on the four square clock display even though it isn't selected & when you change it nothing happens. On top of that I can even find the right settings in the menus, the appearances menu is linked through other menus or I have to search for it manually & like I said it's all broken. No more updates! Only hotfixes!! Seriously!!!!!

Used to work just fine, my chop motion for the flashlight and the twist for the camera stopped working. I can still turn them on by the original toggle in the notification bar, but I've even tried force stopping the app and clearing the storage cache and restarting my phone multiple times. Dunno what's going on. Might go to the Verizon store to see what can be done.

Love some features. Despise Moto voice. Hard to believe at the time of this writing, there have been no changes published to this app in the past 9 months. What I don't like about moto voice is it can't tell when I'm in the car and need it. Or when I'm just walking around at the house. Or even moving my phone around on a restaurant table. The last interruption of normal conversation with friends was so annoying I have turned it off forever or until I see fixes made. More, but ran out of letters.

The Moto app replaced the standard Styles and Wallpapers settings on Android, and it does a terrible job of it. It's supposed to let you change theme colors, but it doesn't do it correctly and I can't find an alternative way to change the background on my grouped icons. It looks terrible and I'm frustrated that my old settings didn't stay in place.

My problem with this app is the lack of customization for the home button/finger print reader. For some incredibly stupid reason, my phone doesn't have dedicated back and multi app buttons even though there is a space for them since there is a home button, so I either have to have a second home button with the back button take up screen space which I hate or use this program with swipe gestures on the finger print reader. Problem is, these swipe gestures don't work half the time. All I want is the ability to customize what each action does. For example, tap for back and hold for home. I'd love a swipe to toggle screen rotation too. But there are zero customization options, so I end up hating my phone because half the time I try to back it ends up exiting the app.

Draining battery even when not using the phone. I noticed my phone is crashibg constantly. I fully charged my phone before going to bed and when I wake up the battery is only 1%, after being alone for the night. The battery used to last more than a day to me. Now, I can't even start the day with battery on my phone. Applications are crashing constantly. Terrible bad experience. I hate this.

After, 3 software updates and a few Motorola updates. My phone UI and os crashes way to often. If I play music it stutters causing a app crash. Google services crashes a lot. No amount of data cleaning,or fresh installs fixes anything. Motorola is just trashing it's products. Making the end user products so much worse . We need a downgrade or something to go back to a better build .

The assist function is now useless. The feature that allows the phone to read texts while driving suddenly is no longer functioning. Clearing the data and cache do nothing. It no longer even recognizes that I'm driving or connected to a Bluetooth device. When I go into the features and select Moto Voice to try and look at the settings, it won't do anything, just flashes the screen for a millisecond and then gives an error saying that Moto Voice keeps stopping. Garbage.

Since the last update, my phone crashes multiple times a day because the app isn't working and freezes my whole phone. My shortcuts aren't working, I can't get the flashlight to work unless I press it on and off. The color scheme keeps changing and I'm not doing it. My whole phones functions are messed up because this app isn't working. I will have to uninstall unless fixed.

This launcher has a flaw that has not been fixed for years - it cannot make folders in the app tray. There is a button to create a folder, but it immediately throw an "App isn't installed" error. App tray folders are incredibly useful for organizing apps and using my phone well. Seriously considering switching after prolonged frustration of this missing functionality... Especially since the button/option is there but it does not work.

Moto is a solid app that enhances the functionality of my Motorola device. It provides useful features like device optimization tools, security updates, and personalized recommendations. The interface is intuitive, making it easy to navigate. However, occasional bugs and performance issues detract from the overall experience. With some improvements in stability, it could be even better. Overall, a handy companion for Motorola users.
