I get that this app is ad-supported, but the ads make the app unusable. Ads take up half the screen and if you go anywhere near them, a webpage opens up. And when you need to use the app quickly, Fullscreen ads for video games open up and you can't skip them for a long time. I just missed my bus because I couldn't wade through the ads quickly enough. There is a paid version, but until I see the app actually succeed at something, I'm not signing up for a subscription.

great application I use it all the time but it is very frustrating when I can't get main features to work. For example, I cannot get the calendar feature to work. And I can't get d Direction arrows to work to show which way a line is moving. I am disabled and I've been stuck in certain spots of the city and disoriented and the arrow feature would be nice to know how to use. when contacting support it was very frustrating because they just did not answer my question directly. it seems that a lot

This app is a lifesaver! I'm thankful this app exists and works so well. But the ads... the pop-up ads.... the video ads that take 10 seconds to skip... they're unacceptable. If I need to show my screen/ticket to the bus driver, I'm wasting everyone's time trying to get out of the ad!! I've had my finger off the screen and multiple times now the ad has clicked itself and opened a webpage! I've been out of the app and it's opened the same ad's web page! Definitely looking for alternatives.

I like this app, it works better than the official metro app here in Los Angeles, I just wish it would somehow be more up to date with distances and/or events or construction going on in the area. On my daily commute it has me walking 1.5 blocks to the train station rather than suggesting one more stop where I only have to cross the street to catch the train so obviously it messes up the connections and the timing is off.

The first day I used this for an actual trip, it tried to tell me to get off three stops beyond my destination. I found a form to report the issue to the developers, but the "attach file" link doesn't work so I can include a screen grab. Kind of useless without this function working reliably. Disheartened, looked like it had some nice features.

A good public transportation-only version of G maps. The interface is more clear in some ways (departure/arrival times & walking instructions are bigger & easier to see) but also more limited (since you can just use G maps & sort between driving/walking). I'll be interested in how good their walking directions are, since I constantly have trouble w/following G maps' ones.

Ads when you might need to chatch a last-minute bus/train??? Are you kidding me??? Also, there used to be a feture that allowed for the departure time to be set to some point earlier in the day, extremely useful in case the route/app closed in middle of traveling. That feature no longer seems to exist. Really liked this app prior to those 2 issues.

It's really helpful when you have tight schedule and need everything calculated to the second. Everything works perfectly fine except the "Your current location" button. I wish the app was refreshing on it's own after asking me to turn on my phone location. Now it takes couple tries to detect that I have already turned it on, but I believe the developers will figure out how to fix this too. Again: great app!! Thanks guys! I appreciate your work!

1. It is counter-intuitive that the list of "Recent trips" includes trips to "Favorites" - there is no need! 2. There is no way to report issues from your app! 3. Please eliminate off-White text over Gray background in your UI - I have a top notch phablet, but I can't read the text in your maps! White text on Black background would be ideal! 4. Users should be able to make an item in "Recent trips" into a favorite.

I gave Moovit a five-star review back in 2016. Sadly, the developers seem to have stopped putting in much effort to maintain and improve it, while simultaneously increasing the amount of ads. There are a lot of bugs. I've even emailed support several times to no avail. Some examples: Times are not shown correctly if you use the earlier/later arrows In my city, one light rail line is split in two by Moovit and it says you have to change trains and wait, which messes up route planning

Ever since they added video ads in the middle of every action in the app, it's become almost unusable. Edit 1: I'll add that my issue isn't with ads in general, they're a necessary evil in a free app, it's the video ads that necessarily delay getting the information I need, which is often time sensitive. Edit 2: I paid for 'premium' only to find out that the ads were just a cover for horrendous lag times, so now instead of an ad making me wait I get a spinner. Wish there were negative stars

Too many ads. You feel like thay take any chance to give you an ad which usually takes longer than what you are doing. I chech the hours of a line and when I click to see the stops it passes, there's an ad. At least it could wait until you change the line or go back to homen screen. The ads are also irrelevant needless to mention. But apart from that it works.

I used to really like this app but it seems that it's regressing overtime. Ads keep getting more. Bus times are keep getting inaccurate with a 2-5 minutes difference. Doesn't even show the fastest route anymore. Sometimes gets laggy. If you are just a traveler, it's a good app but if you are in a hurry for any reasons, you can't rely on this app about timing.

Clumsy interface, even for the paid version, I still have to use the free Transit app to complement this one. Moovit has a lot of potential, but developers need to see and experience it from the customer's side and needs. It should not be necessary to have a manual to use, app needs to be more intuitive, and now with AI being available for just about anything, this app definitely can benefit from it, and more people would use it.

3.5 stars The app does what it advertises, but sometimes the ads can be really intrusive. After letting an ad play for the allotted amount of time I would try to exit it and instead the ad would download the app. The Breaking News ad is the absolute worst offender with this method. A lot of times I end up having to close out of the moovit app altogether and reopening the app again to get to the next screen. Now video ads have the exit button off screen so I can't get to it after the ad runs. 😑

The live tracking doesn't work reliably. It seems to default to some screen of my location but it doesn't show the bus moving. So it as usful as me looking at a regular book schedule. When the bus arrives the app still shows the bus position as unmoved. So it's fairly useless. It does work correctly sometimes but not consistently. The schedule is accurate so at least I can tell how soon the bus will be there. But it's not great but it works well enough.

A useful app for finding bus routes near you, except when it shows a route time for a bus that doesn't run at that time, or when it shows a route that was discontinued a year ago. I can't rate it highly for purchasing digital tickets, as it "lost" my monthly pass three different days in the past month. Reinstalling and rebooting don't particularly work, but if you wait long enough, your ticket will probably reappear without taking any action. Except by then, the bus has already come and gone.

Functionality it great. The ads are ridiculous though. Every one is either for cars or car share services, like I'd want a car. Worse, the button to close them is tiny, and some of them have popups timed to appear exactly when you would otherwise be able to close the ad, so instead of seeing your route, you have to wait for the popup to close.

App is constantly putting ads in. I go maybe about 10 seconds before an ad pops up. Can't go back without an ad. Bus GPS signals are fairly accurate sometimes but a good portion of the time it's more of a suggestion. I've seen numerous busses running the same route and they are just back to back. Many busses run late and don't seem to move for long stretches of time when tracking on GPS. Biggest issue w setting a trip to your desired stops. Can't set a connecting stop where you'd like to connect

I love it! And it's essential for someone who is transit dependent like me. Of course, it can benefit from some tweaks. For example, when selecting a line and direction, some lines have several directions (or destinations) that have limited use. So, I would suggest highlighting the two most used directions on each line in order to improve the apps efficiency. Second, when searching for a nearby station there should be a way to sort by earliest departure time instead of by station (stop).
