Since i do not have my card yet i cannot judge that side of this, friends say it is good. But on the app itself, the performance is sub par at best with buttons like the search bar is not working and the loading time when pressing on the big red balance button is ridiculous. The app has a long way to go before its good to use.

Unable to transfer from roundup pot to another person still. The remaining days until payment feature has been removed with the latest update & needs to be put back, I get paid 4 weekly & the other feature is a static date, which doesn't work for me! Everytime it updates it strips the login biometrics settings, you have to rest them everytime

Getting worse every update, they keep removing or hiding very good features and I'm heavily considering moving and finding another bank to get those features back. Latest update moved the balance that took scheduled payments into account to another menu and made it much harder to access. I relied very heavily on this feature, please put it back on the current account screen.

Quick and convenient. Until you try to pay for something online. It glitches and loops when a website redirects to the Monzo app, after the payment is approved in the Monzo app and I return to the merchant website I then have to start the process from the beginning and it's literally impossible to complete the payment. Frustrating AF!! Please fix so I don't have to move to another bank.

Every update app gets worse. I miss days when I open and get taken to transactions screen. Now it's extra click. Plus when I went to approve payment a full screen popup appeared telling me about new premium. I had payment reference saved for a payee and since update it dissappeared so I need to go through papers to find it again.

Monzo is great, however, basically every time I make a large transfer to someone it gets blocked. The ID confirmation process is good but it would be better if it didn't block them in the first place. Edit: I would like this sorted, but 4 stars is just wrong. Monzo is excellent.

Awful. I've had payments made from my account duplicated and they never seem to have an end result. They know when payments have been made. It's 2024 the best technology for online and cyber crime. The IT fraud team for UK banking need experience or years of research as its more complex than people know. The questions they ask are rediclious e.g when did someone last use ur phone lol. Then they have a list of the payments that were not done my myself so whats the point with the silly questions ?

Monzo makes it difficult to be able to contact them, I need to transfer my rent today, the app doesn't let me transfer, ask for video identification, I tried to do the video, it failed to identify me, I try to call them, it says I need to chat on the app, but I'm navigating for 1 hs on the app and I can't find the blood chat, and If I don't transfer the money today I will have to pay interest. that's just ridiculous.

I am super happy with Monzo. The app so easy to navigate and intuitive. Finding and categorising spend is easy. Customer service is AMAZING. Any issues I've had have been sorted out really quickly. I have no negative feedback.

Great bank and so handy to have on my devices. It has a secure login. The only issue is getting help, there are FAQ but often frustrating not being able to find an answer and not knowing how to contact a person. Other than that I'm really happy with Monzo and they often have great cashback deals!

the best bank I've ever dealt with. Easy, fast, and no bureaucracy at all. I was sceptical at the beginning, as I've always been used to the old-fashioned physical bank branches. Now, I find it extremely easy and quick to just pop in online, pay my bills, transfer money, and deal with all my financial trivialities with the touch of a finger.

Got to love that 'chiiinggg' when you get paid... or shall I say when you pay yourself early!!! first of all, I was worried about going to digital bank, but now I realise it's 100% better than my previous high street banks I've banked with. Also, it's just a smooth experience. I never had an app bug, never get a sorry cant log you in. it just works as it should. and it kills me to write a nice review as well x)

If you want a bank that offers good customer service then do not use this bank. They only offer an in-app chat service that is not instant messaging, if you find the phone number and call in to try and talk to someone it tells you go back to the in app chat. If you ask for an appointment for a call they do not keep the appointment. It took me a year to sort a single dispute and get a new payment plan. Once it was in place they continued to message me.

The new layout is STILL terrible. Ruined a perfectly good app. Monzo don't listen to customer feedback. No way to turn off the useless "activity view". No way to ungroup savings accounts on the home page. No way to remove all "pinned" accounts. Monzo used to be great but they just don't listen to feedback to make the home screen actually usable. It's a mess and confusing.

robs you at every chance and not to mention the customer service is non-existent. trying to use my card and for the 3rd time in 2 weeks I'm having to go through an hour long process of uploading a verification video, it getting denied, the app barely working enough for me to use it to upload another, then getting that one denied. for an hour I've tried to sort it and it's only when you get to the cashing out part of an order than you realise you've got to go through this ordeal. not worth it

By far and away the best, easiest and most convenient banking app. I've gone from completely replying on my Lloyds account to completely loving and relying on my Monzo account. Everything from bank transfers to, believe it or not, life insurance, travel insurance and other things like weekly Greggs treats and a Railcard. The subscription costs (you do not require nor is it a necessity to have a subscription in order to use the app or the banking aspect of the app) are very affordable too 💯

Easily the best in UK. This app is 101 how to do mobile banking at it's finest. Simple, fast, no hassle, everything clear and visible, nice graphics too. When traveling: no mayor issues and pay at current exchange rates (no hidden fees). Great for sending money abroad. You can see upcoming transfers (eg salary) and get them a day earlier. Fast transfers. Easy to track separate pots, see the interests (£ and %). Setting up another account was as easy as tapping a button. Thank you Monzo ❤️💯🙏🏼

Since the redesign of Monzo where the pots and other things have moved I find the app INCREDIBLY difficult to use. I spend ages trying to find the most simple thing. I often spent ages searching each of the menus seeing if I could figure out where things have been moved too, and often when I find them find it very unintuitive.

One of the original and the best. Been with them since 2015 but never really used it for anything other than paying for stuff abroad and quick transfers, but the features, the app and even savings account are top notch. I tried Chase for a while but Monzo is miles ahead. Most importantly, you can have the app installed on iOS and Android device simultaneously without issues. There's also a web interface for viewing transactions from last 90 days and for freezing your card. I hope they survive!

New user here (post-redesign). The app isn't terrible, but it's unnecessarily bloaty, because it has a lot of pointless redundancy, buttons and sections that link to the same places or perform the same function, which causes more confusion. Keep it simple, one button to perform one function, unless absolutely relevant somewhere else. However I really appreciate that they allow usage of the app on modified devices.
