Great app and easy to use. i got deducted some amount from wallet when doing transaction, and couldn't complete the transaction successfully. i contacted the support team through Whatsapp with Transaction ID and they gave back my amount fully refund with in 48 hours. Built in app bot has to be modified to a better one, Whatsapp Support is good. Thank you team, keep doing the great work.

Good to have the UPI option, but the app still needs to develop. 1. struggles to pick up QR codes. 2. Says there's a network error, when there isn't. 3. 3.5 % transfer fee is high. Should accept transfers from local NRI accounts for low or no fee.

Stay away...Just another scammer!!! Very poor customer support. I had issues with incomplete payments where money is deducted from my account, but the merchant not receiving it. No response has been received from Mony upon raising a dispute. Still waiting to receive my money refunded after a month from the original transaction.

This app has completely changed my experience of traveling in India. The verification was done virtually, and it was super quick - it took about a day. The transaction fees are minimal, too. I can't compare it to any other apps, but I can highly recommend this. It may only be used for merchant UPI, not personal accounts, but this has saved me from tons of ATM fees. I was in India before without this, and I can assure you it is a world of a difference. THANK YOU.

I've been waiting for a refund for more than a month. I was purching a 299 rupee game credit and the app froze. Mony staff agreed the problem with on their end and that my problem has been escalated. I keep sending messages and nothing so far. I've angry and fed up. The app also doesn't work for Metro ticket. I'm glad you can buy tickets through Uber now. I would never recommend this app to other tourists.

System went down, I have not been able to make payments for over 16 hours which has incurred costs, I have not received a response from support, a payments system needs to be more reliable or at the very least respond to queries in a timely manner

this is the more efficient and simpler apps for foreigners to use in India. has provided a lot of convenience. however, they will charge you extra than the original price in the future when you top-up your account.

Worst app/service ever. They contacted me for KYC (Know Your Coutomer) in my WhatsApp and even after uploaded all the necessary documents they aren't proceeding with KYC. Also, the OPT I have been receiving isn't validating in the app. I tried to reach out customer support but not response. App is legging. No Customer support.

This helps in paying actual merchants, but not to individuals like the locals do. There are some cases you need to pay for Uber rides and the drivers have the QR code, but it won't let you pay because it says that is a personal QR code. I would like the option to send money to individuals as locals do, because sometimes I don't have cash.

After a week of using the Mony UPI app, I’d say it should be your last payment option. Activation is simple, but the 24-hour payment cap and inability to pay small businesses and taxi owners—who typically link personal bank accounts—make it impractical. Likely a government restriction, this undermines its purpose, leaving cash as the primary mode of payment for small businesses. I would prefer multi currency Wise card, as it's cheaper. Mony app is useful where overseas card is not accepted.

very handy app for a foreigner like me when I travel in India. works almost flawlessly for payments. wish I could also use it for payments to private accounts of friends and family, not just to merchants. the top-up fee is pretty high.

This app claims to be helpful for Uber, Ola, etc, but it does not allow personal account transfers that all the drivers have. It is useful only for big chain purchases, which can also be done by international credit cards, so it defeats the purpose.

It doesn't allow payments to personal UPI which is like 95% drivers here in Bangalore. It also takes excessive time to perform the payment after successful scan so people queuing behind you get annoyed. No way you will feel like a local the advertisment is false. Please fix this it's barely usable as it is now. reply: 1. I can pay for uber taxi with my debit card I don't need any UPI for that. But I want to use auto like everyone else so that's a real problem. 2. Not true my internet was fine

Nicely built app, but current UPI restrictions for tourists in India make this app almost useless. Payments to personal accounts are not allowed, and that eliminates all taxi and auto rickshaw drivers. They don't accept payments in the Uber app and they don't have cash either. Most of the big merchants accept payments by card. My Mony transactions failed with them anyway. After a week with the app, and 0 successful payments, I withdrew my balance and got a local SIM instead.

I've used a new card to top up mony I've never used before and transactions from other countries started showing in my account after. I cancelled my card before they could empty my account. Highly recommend not using the service until they've looked into this matter. Rather use cash when travelling India.

Totally pointless. Ask for 2 documents for verification and then say it can only start after you arrive in India. Then what's the point? Just don't offer it then and give an explanation why only after arrival. Sounds like i need to go there in person then, which makes the upload of the documents also pointless. No clear explanation given. 3.5% fee is also 5oo expensive. That will add up to 4% or more including the fee from the card I need to use to fund it. Might as well withdraw cash.

Having UPI is such a necessity here but honestly, the customer service on this app is not great. Getting anything fixed always takes forever and you're just SOL while they take their time. Additionally, they don't keep good track of support requests day to day so you often have to start from scratch with a new rep. They constantly owe me money from failed transactions and are very slow at sorting it out.
