I love the option to suppress jobs from search again... but it's still wasteful time spent weeding through the majority of the jobs being not remotely what I'm looking for! needs more search filtering. it also seems to refresh periodically and isn't up to date with all the jobs you've marked so you end up having to pass on the last few jobs again. annoying.

There might be a sync issue between your website and mobile app. I filled up my profile yesterday and saw the mobile app today and downloaded it. When I logged in via mobile app, none of my profile details were there. I logged out and logged in again and it had some (still incomplete) details, but looked like it was poorly populated based on how they parsed my uploaded CV. I had to edit it again. Skills were overwritten too with AI chosen / irrelevant words like 'Cadence'. Uninstalling for now.

This is a horrible app. Can't find jobs that I've saved to apply for later. I am unable to change my visibility setting. It is stuck on "visible to employers". Please keep things simple. You try to make it nice and pretty but it defeats the purpose of this app which is to allow people to search and apply for jobs. You can't apply for them if you can't find them after you saved them. The search function doesn't work as I specify a city and it shows jobs in the entire country. Deleting the app.

The app forces you to enter a city & state that you want to search for jobs. I am interested in looking for remote opportunities all across the country! And even if I did want to search for jobs in a particular area, it should at least allow me to select a diameter (5, 10, 20, 50 miles/km). This app is complete ineffective in helping me look for jobs.

It's frustrating to have to look for a job to begin with, let alone when you use an app and put a city and mile radius & save it, it still gives you jobs outside of those perimeters. Remote jobs aren't really remote, they're only remote to that state (again within specified mile radius of it). This just holds up a lot of time going through to select perimeters & then results are jobs not even close to it.

New app with page swipe makes it difficult and time consuming to see all potential jobs available that fit my search criteria. Changing search criteria at first glance is non existent. I am looking for a job not a date. Change back to a scroll method to make things go faster. Resume conversion erased some of the details I put in and now I have to go back and edit it except I can't. The app will not let me. I guess I'm stuck with the errors.

I keep hearing that Monster is a great resource for job seekers but honestly, I'm disappointed by the app. I wish there were more filter options like for education requirements, minimum salary, full-time/part-time so I don't waste precious time combing through jobs that aren't even close to what I want. Also being able to save filtered searches and get notified for these searches would be great! Also I wish I could see the jobs in those searches that my resume matches. I just need more.

It could be that my judgement is early plus might be optimal on anythin besides a phone, but its laggy, glitchy, slowed my entire phone and almost crashed its UI. Twice. No app should be capable of that. All because of a family member that shared a job opening by way of email through you guys, and I decided I may as well download the app for ease of transition between apps. I'd also suggest allowing users to be able to download resumes that are in PDF format if possible

The app doesn't show relevant jobs, won't accept key skills in the profile (it drops things like numbers, so 3DS Max (a primary tool) is not a searchable term), and doesn't present a list to scroll through. I have to look at every option and have to dismiss one before moving to the next... can't go back, and if I get in a hurry, I'm likely to miss something useful. I'm going to mess around with the app a bit more and might revise my rating, but I'm more likely to just uninstall at this point.

Search results don't follow criteria entered, especially with location distance. I set it to show jobs less than 30 miles but majority of jobs returned were over 50 miles away. The number of jobs listed were minimal, so Indeed was my go-to app. Also, deleting account was not as easy as clicking the delete account button. Other sites allow you to hide your resume, I can't find that on Monster so I'm getting calls from employers about sales positions (not what I want) for jobs 50+ miles away.

i tried using the website, but there are very few custom options so you have to scroll through TONS of garbage in hopes to find something close to what you want. i downloaded the app hoping for a better experience, and it froze my phone. i had to force shut off my phone, and when i turned it back on, it took a very long time of loading just to uninstall. staying with indeed

Didn't care for the Format. It treats it like a dating app with the swiping formula, which just doesn't make sense. A formula like that just slows down the process by which you can view jobs. I will admit, the format does make you look at jobs a bit more thoroughly than apps like Indeed or Linkedin, but that isn't always a good thing. I give it two stars for the mileage from home slider, instead of jumping from 25 to 50 miles, you can select 35 or 40.

It doesn't show me what I search for. Example: graphic design or print design is not the same as engineering or interior design. The use of the app is annoying. Swiping left or right on the same posts every time I get on. Also I'm not allowed to sort posts according to date. I prefer viewing a list than what you have now. I'm not even gonna start on the irrelevant emails.

What an utterly basic job app. Where to start. Uploading your resume doesn't matter because you're still going to have to fill a good bit out as well as correct errors made by their system. Up next is recommended jobs which won't be in any particular order and may show you jobs from across the country if you've recently moved like I have. When searching for a job there is only one filter "remote work" on or off. Nothing else that would be useful. Long way to go for this app.

Favorite job app already! I like the swipe option. Applying for jobs is a tedious task. Having to fill out the same applications over, and over, and over and over again, and over again. Job Searching can take hours, when in today's technological world, it shouldn't. This makes job search much easier with the swipe option. Since my resume is automatically sent to the employer when I swipe right, I can apply for more jobs faster, increasing my chances of landing an interview and getting hired!

Bad system interface. When I search "Biomechanical engineering" jobs, I get unrelated engineering jobs. So many jobs aren't relevant to me. They have bad suggestions on the news feed, and apparently you can't revisit the job if you pass up on it. I don't want to have location be a permanent setting I have to hunt to change. I should be able to search with a location anyone I look for a job. A state should count as a location. I think it's poorly designed. Use indeed, or even glassdoor.

I don't like the way this app is set up. You can only view the job once if you swipe left and can't view it again. You swipe right and it automatically has you apply for the job. You can't save it for later to review. Once you've looked (swiped) thru all the job listings, it wants you to upload your resume and doesn't show you anything else. The jobs it was showing me kept repeating and skipped some.

It would be nice to be able to have more filters in the search function (shift times, job levels, etc). The tinder-style format of sifting is also rather slow, and I get that they have to monetize, but being unable to go back and look at previous postings until you flip through enough is frustrating, especially considering that I have encountered instances where I will click on a posting and the app misreads it as a flick. a helpful app, but certainly could use improvement.

Mediocre. I can't view my resume on the app. The waiting icon just circles and the words behind the waiting icon flash on and off. I then have to force the app closed. It also cycles the same jobs as I am looking at them. If I pass on a job, a minute or 2 later, the app flashes and I am looking at the same handful of jobs I already passed on. I have deleted and re-downloaded the app multiple times and this does not fix it. I don't seem to have these problems on the website....

I just reinstalled the Monster App after uninstalling it about a year ago. Gave it 4 stars instead of one. The look and feel of the app has come a long way. I like the swipe features, the bright colors and the pass, save and apply buttons as well as the layout. However, I wish I could attach a cover letter with my resume when applying for a position. I still have to explore more of the app's features. I also wish there were more Graphic Design/Artist and printing positions posted.
