Honestly don't bank with these people I've had missing money they claim to have sent but have not. They charge ridiculous fees. You can not contact them in any ways there doesn't seem to be a chat there phone number which I had to Google is an automated line. The website points you in the direction of using chat on there app. However that is not there. There support page doesn't show any emails. I had to Google to get it. My advice get your money away from these scammers ASAP.

I enjoyed Monese for a while, the ability to open multiple accounts with various currencies was great. I wasn't able to access my account when my phone broke.. I couldn't use the front camera SPECIFICALLY for security, and there was no other way to prove my identity to gain access (not able to provide documents or even just use the back camera etc) I don't know whether this has been improved now. This combined with multiple app outages was enough to make me decide to switch to another account.

VERY high fees. I don't know why anyone would use this when there are other options available. I wanted to make an online purchase and I wanted to try this card. I loaded the card with 550€. The fee was 6.5€. I got charged with a 1€ inactivity fee once I loaded the card because I haven't used it in a while and then I got charged a 10€ fee because I used the card and the transaction was in Australian dollar. I will not be using this platform again when there are that many other fee-free options.

had recently 3 payments leave my account and no idea what they are, tried to reach customer service to find out but it's impossible. have removed the funds from them as a result.

Very very poor ...joined up over 100 days ago...still not registered....Did starling bank as my other option all sorted verified and ready in just over 60mins ....Uninstalling this monese ...useless

App charges from everything. It is fine when money is entering the account. But when I try to send money (to an account which belongs to me!) suddenly they starded asking for documents, as if I am applying for a mortgage. I find these double standards unacceptable. If they need documents for some reason, why waiting for the time when I need to make a payment? This app or online bank pit me in an unexpected and very difficult situation. And there is no way to reach and talk to someone...

I've been with Monese since they've started, day one. I was disappointed about having to upgrade account due to many transfers but it was a good run. And you can't really expect it all to be free forever. Never really had a problem, only thing needs improving is turn around time for customer service and this weird glitch that will give someone a heart attack. Occasionally after transferring, your account will show double the amount deducted until you refresh.

I'm new to this App and when i tried to create an account and got to the Address part it kept saying " we could not find your address" knowing that I have put the exact address of my location and the support chat have not responded yet and , hope you fix that

DO NOT SIGN UP TO THIS BANKS OR USE THE APP !!!!🤬🤬🤬. Firstly the charges it has when you use your card to buy stuff is disgusting, iv been charged £7 or so just to use my card DISGUSTING !!!!. When you go to transfer money from the pots it takes ages to arrive at times so your stood there getting angry cause the app is poorly designed. By far the worst app that there is even tho they keep doing updates, and the worst bank. AGAIN DO NOT USE OR SIGN UP.

Update: Support got in contact and address issue was sorted. App experience so far is very good. ‐‐------ The app won't find my address during sign up and the Contact Support option nobody is answering apart from the bots. Useless.

I have just been scammed by this bank. I tried to send money to a friend, the money was deducted from my balance and was showing pending. They blocked my friend account and nloymy account. They told me to get my balance without them refunding the money that was pending. I tried to asked questions but they permanently blocked the account without allowing me to even withdraw my balance.

UPDATE: After using it for years my account got blocked, googled and I see they do that a lot. Beware. Good luck if you are travelling when that happens. Problems with payments arriving. Zero stars for customer support. Contacted several times, noone answers, been trying for 3 weeks and all you get is an e-mail with "support request received". Faq instructs to use live support that does not exist in the app. Started out as a nice project which has turned into the worst experience.

I have installed the app 7 weeks ago and did all the verifications and it is still waiting for the outcome of the verification. Pure comedy. They don't even respond to emails ! Imagine if you would have problems with transactions or disputes, it would take them a year! Basically if they are not capable of verification then imagine something else. Uninstaling. Revolut is light years ahead!

I've installed it a week ago and have been waiting since to recon my doc's to start using.... Solve the issue if I'm to use it, other apps are much faster on that step. Other thing is that I got the link from a refer and hasn't the code there which they re-asked.... I'll wait one more day to see if anything happens, else I'll uninstall.

At first, it was good, without fees. NOW? Fees all over, customer support 0, hard to access and talk to them. If a transaction fails and they took a fee, they don't give it to you back, you have to ask them for it back. Crazy how this world is trying to ..** you over

The app UI and functionality is great but it seems its not working. It has been more than 3 days and account is not yet activated. The app is still showing as Processing screen after video KYC was completed. Wrote email to support team but no response yet. Even not able to close the account. No response for that request as well. Very disappointing service!!

The customer support is terrible and practically non-existent. The automated chat and fake agents are frustrating, often ending calls abruptly. I wouldn't use their services again. They should solve issues as quickly as they respond to reviews. I've had no support despite waiting two months for a chargeback reported to both the merchant and the credit card issuer (Monese). Now, the card section doesn't work at all.

Zero customer service. Their in-app chat has been "down" for years, they do not respond to emails and there is no way to speak to someone on their customer service phone number. Their automated services do not cover all issues and without someone to speak to you have even the simplest problems never fixed. No effort whatsoever from anyone, it's almost like they've given up and ready to let the business die.
