Doesn't work properly after update. I have to register again almost everytime I want to use it. Also notifications of payment requests stops working after a while after each registration. Starting to explore other options. I don't recommend this to anybody.

All payments fail after latest update, can't use credit card or bank account. Entire app is therefore broken.

Cant be used anymore, security check fails, error code 9. App crashes instantly. Contacted app support, got a response eventually but the support was unable to help at all.

The new update prevents using nickname, exposing your identity to scammers. You can check any phone number user's name (provided they have MobilePay installed) by just starting a new payment, punching in a phone number and voilá, you get their full name without completing the payment. Not cool. Also, deleting profile doesn't delete your information - it is possible that your phone number reveals your identity even after that. Cancelling account requires a phone call to MobilePay. Uninstalling.

Doesn't work. Friend sent me 14€, the money was sent from his account and mobilepay shows that he sent the money to me. But the money didn't transfer to my account. Is the money now lost forever or what the hell is going on???

Entering cards is annoying because no copy-paste. It shows full name when sending money, so thanks for that additional privacy I guess. Do you think I know everyones full names? Because I don't. At least I can block people now, only took them like couple years. The send / receive / other buttons could be a lot bigger. When I open the app, that's what I want to do, not all the other useless junk. I thought I'd give more stars but honestly? Nah. It works OK I guess.

The new update ruined the good app. In previous version you could request the money and pay it like one month later. Now the request expires like after 1-2 weeks, which makes it really hard to remember who owes you money. This is a good example of bad UI design and reminder for all developers that don't change what works. I am disappointed.

Still just about works but the new update kills the UI and it looks terrible. A classic case of fixing a problem that didn't exist. Before, it looked good and was super intuitive. Now the visuality is far inferior and all the tabs - Home, Activities, Settlements (whatever that is), and Profile look like they've been designed by a school student. Presumably, a company was paid a lot to redesign the look but frankly it sucks. Would have been 5 stars before the update. Now installed Pivo instead.

Edit: They removed the ability to change your name too. Contains MixPanel aggressive privacy invasive advertising and usage tracker. This doesn't let users opt out to tracking and effectively logs all information. Really disgusting to include this in your app. At least we know how MobilePay is free... I'll move to using Siirtro instead. Bye.

Everytime I try to register, at the very last step it just shows "something went wrong, try again". Been trying for two months now so guess maybe in 5 years I will be able to set up this app 👍🏻

Since May 2024, you can no longer use a credit card to send money to friends. If you don't have a debit card you can no longer use the app as neither credit cards nor bank account transfers will work with Mobike Pay. Used to work so well... Now it's useless.

The new layout is awful, especially for the "Activities" tab: 1. No way to see all activities in chronological order (they are now grouped by user/business. 2. No search functionality 3. The starting view when opening the page is sometimes the bottom of the list (and the list loads visibly slow too) 4. Too easy to accidentally swipe right to delete

After the update I'm not able to use my added card for payments anymore. I get a message "This payment cannot be made with a card. Try with an account." Also not able to select my account in this context, just gives me the option to add a new card or account for the payment. This is beyond frustrating. Used to like the app for its quick and easy ui/ux, now this feels just bad all around.

Absolutely terrible update. Like others said, the UX is confusing, but that's just the start of the issues. I had pending group transfers before the update and now I can't see if they were paid or not, and all have been cancelled. Now it seems impossible to request money from a group. I don't want to create a box or settlement group, since I'm the only one who paid. In the previous version it was a one-step process, now that option is gone, so this app just made it unnecessarily complicated.

The old UI was simple, easy to use and effective. The new version has less clarity, more steps and less features. The only new one that I appreciate is the ability to block people. The chat feature is useless and you cant even send pictures with transfers anymore. This update has worsned the user experience in many ways and it wiped my transfer history so now I have to type every number out again. Im extremely confused as to why this was even rolled out, way to ruin a good thing.

I hate the update. It was more simple before. Some functionalities that I frequently used were also removed. Splitting the cost was so easy previously and now it has been replaced by "settlements" which comes with a charge. That's fine for cases where you have more costs (e.g. trip together with many cost entries). But if you want to split one time cost, it just complicates the process.

When this app allowed use of credit card, it was convenient and relatively safe. Now it's forcing use of debit card, which removes the protection of credit card companies. I will not share my debit card details with this app and thus find it useless.

The new version works terribly. The settlements don't work properly. Payments get cancelled by the app very often. Many people experience troubles with the attached cards. The previous version was way better.

Payments started from mobile browsers never work anymore. Broken redirects, broken payment links... After that the app is stuck in the confirm payment screen with no way to get out of it. Back button goes back to the payment as does restarting the app. Trying to pay doesn't go through and complains about already paid payment. Cancelling the payment from the browser does, you guessed it, nothing. Has become totally unreliable payment method.

New update removed emoji reactions, changed the layout, made it harder to see all transaction history, and removed the ability to send photos with requests/sent money. The app is now an empty void of "professionalism". The new added ability to text people?? Completely useless! It makes it hard to scroll up and see history of transactions. Bring back the old app! ☹️
