This game used to be fun when the levels were there. The levels gave you like a challenge. And that challenge was, collect all the fruits to progress to the next level. But now, it feels like i'm cheating. And plus, it used to be alot more fun then the updated version. Now the app kinda sucks. Bring back the levels please. Then I will give it at least 4 stars.

Good game, fun to play when you're bored. But it has a lot of ads, now it's not like most games where an ad pops up every five seconds, but it has ads. Also, when you're actually controlling the minion running, you don't get to run for a very long time. The goals are normally, 'collect 10 bananas.' As you can imagine, pretty easy. I would like the challenges to be harder.

There are some really weird bugs. When the banana vacuum is active you cannot punch a running minion. During a long run the evil minion power up does not always activate (not a costume, just the power up during a run) which causes you to run into something cause you're going too fast to react in time. And still way too many ads. Literally after every single run.

Latest update ruined the game...I think the changes to the game's format are fine (though I like the old version of the special missions better) but the changes to the minions/costumes and power-ups are terrible. It sucks for people that spent so much time/money building up everything only for it to mean nothing now. We were supposed to get all our upgraded minions back but that's not the case. We got costume cards but enough of coins to truly upgrade them and they added the agent rank, which is another obstacle to upgrades to costumes. Anyways I could go on about this, but I'm sure this is falling on deaf ears.

this used to be an awesome game before you removed the most basic functions the game used to have, mainly it was an INFINITE runner, where you didn't have to unlock maps (although you had to make it to a map change section.) The game didn't stop you run because you finished your task. You could run an infinite amount of times ( didn't have to wait for the tickets/energy/what-ever-you-call-it to replenish.) and there were BOSS FIGHTS! So far all i can say isthat the game lost its charm.

What a disappointment!! I loved this game and played it often. Now everything I built-up over the years is gone, bananas, all the outfits with upgrades, the revives I had saved up, not to mention all the power ups. I feel like all the time I spent playing this game and saving stuff for a rainy day was a giant waste of my time because I have nothing to show for it now. I really hope the next update fixes all of this. So disappointed!

Not impressed with the new upgrade. Don't like how I lost so much progress. I made in app purchases which were lost. I had earned several characters and now I have to earn them back! Special missions are more difficult. I had earned characters which collected a lot of items and now I collect a lot less. It costs a lot more for special fever upgrades. And there are less challenges during special missions to collect more items. Not happy!!

The new launch is decent. All my efforts, MONEY, time I spent upgrading costumes, skills, power ups, locales is gone. I loved the Special Missions, released routinely, and the Jelly Lab format--love them!!! The ability to use bananas as currency for certain prize pods is good. The game is a little overwhelming with so many activities to complete. Upgrades of costumes are not as good as prior versions.

I LOVE this game. Minions is one of the very best. There is a couple of things I'd like to see change because not everyone is good at near misses. Provide the option to select another challenge if you fail, keep failing the current challenge. Also. developers, PLEASE OPEN other Minions for Rocket and the Moon. I had nearly every Minion in the previous version so a little frustrating to never get the cards to get Minions for additional rocket and moon. Regardeless, this app is LOTS of daily fun.

I have been playing Minion Rush for years. The old version required skill to determine what to update, how to update, how and when to use items, and how to complete levels. I had over 15 million bananas, golden shield and a very large array of Minions to choose from that I had earned. The new version is on the verge of confusing. The "transfer" of items was garbage and what did transfer I still need to play, excessively, to even recruit due to "upgrading" needing banana tokens that you need to earn. Further, the "transfer" makes no sense. For instance the Cleopatra costume I had maxed out plus upgraded - which was I believe ~250% bananas collected, a free revive, plus double bananas after the revive. The same costume now simply increases the chances of getting a banana vacuum - completely losing the purpose of having, using, and upgrading that costume in the first place. I could go on but that is just one example. The gameplay while running is on the verge of annoying. The controls are sloppy by comparison (slow to react), game play at times will pause for no reason - and when it starts up again, the slow reaction is even worse and you almost always lose the run. Trying to figure out how the levels works just leaves the user confused. Use of items is even more odd, by comparison to the old, because there's no upgrading the item - each item has a very short duration unless that specific costume has been upgraded for that specific item.

This is an updated review - while i had had some serious problems several months ago, it seems that the game developers have been busy since I've been away! interesting update is faster paced, more rewards driven, and good so far. I do miss the original game that allowed for very long runs - the occasional marathon was a nice challenge. But this is good, too. Still playing, on and off at least, after five years!

I used to love this game. It was great. I enjoyed the levels, earning the fruit and unlocking the new spots. I even liked the special missions even though I couldn't usually finish them. But then the update happened and I lost almost everything. I got to keep my coins but not my bananas. All my characters got taken away and put back at zero upgrades. None of the extra achievements I had done transferred. the new way of earning nee "ranks" sucks. I really hate that a game I loved turned into this. I don't know why they couldn't just make this version its own game. I guess if you are new to the game it won't matter, but just wait until the developers do the same to you after a couple of years of playing. It sucks and they sucks for doing this to people who have been loyal to this game.

i find it more entertaining to actively try not to achieve the goals. It's a much more fun and challenging game that way. What happened to the story, the challenge, the ability to run so long you reach a new location? I loved that! I loved unlocking new locations by just running for a long time and having the difficulty slowly increase, that was fun! Now every single level and "mission" is over in 5 seconds.

I've been playing for longer than I can remember. I feel 100% ripped off with the way you forced the game change on a loyal customer/player. Instead of deleting and writing over the old game with a new one, perhaps you should've just made a Minion Rush 2. Very dissatisfied. On top of it, everything that I've collected over the years cost me a ton of money to recover. To move on the same way I always have in special missions, I can only collect half as much with the perks fully loaded. Which also cost a ton of money to do. Are all your games about greed anymore?

I use to love the game, paid actual money for permanent upgrades, downloaded all levels, strived to get all fruits in each map, it was amazing. The game is ruined now, took a break from it to come back and found out it's a completely different game from the one I loved a couple years ago, changed for the worst and it seem like the tutorials never end, will b stepping away from the game for good or at least until the creators see the error in their way and restore the game to ALL its former glory.

As a major Despicable Me fan, I love this game! It's fun, there's a lot of events and missions you can do, and it always keeps me entertained. Since I play it a lot, I have noticed some issues lately, however. For example, I'm not sure if it's just my device, but I have been experiencing delays when I swipe, like it either takes longer than expected to move when I swipe or it just doesn't work. Other than that, I definitely recommend this game! Just hope the issue gets fixed soon.

A lot has changed, but I will say that Minion Rush is enjoyable in its current state. Just w complaint, however since the minions have abilities attached to them, there are some minions you end up not using because they are useless when completing the missions. Also please add a gamemode with infinite run and you can choose the map. In OG Minion Rush, you could choose the map you run on and I miss that function. What's the point of unlocking maps if the game is always choosing it for you?
