Really does help! sucks that your phone does kinda look plain but if you really want to be productive or have less screen time that's the price you have to pay. used to have over 11+ hours of screen time DAILY and ever since using this app it's cut down more than half since then, really recommend especially if your having trouble focusing or just trying to reduce screen time.

Helpful and clean. My only complaint is the swipe feature to access your list of apps will sometimes fail to load. You will be stuck with just your keyboard and the home screen. This is highly inconvenient when attempting to reach to minimalist settings. Some development bugs need to be ironed out. I am using the Samsung Galaxy S24 for reference.

Honestly my favorite minimalist launcher. Looks clean, easy to hide unwanted apps, easy to organize categories for the rest of the apps that you want to use but don't need on the main homescreen. If your goal is to declutter and only see what you need, this is a great option. Not a ton of aesthetic customization but you can make it your own with colors and different fonts.

I like the mindful app usage reminder. However, if I open an app with a time limit, leave, then relaunch it from Home, it forgets the time limit and prompts me to set a new one. I wish it'd show a "_ minutes left" toast instead. I'd also love an ultra-convenient button to lock the screen or temporarily block an app I'm mentally stuck in. Maybe running out of time could lock you out for ~1 min. Thank you for the perpetual license option!! It makes me feel more secure relying on this app.

I definitely believe the app has potential to be a great tool. But some of the bugs made my phone more annoying than the useful tool it's meant to be. One being that the app timer displays over apps I don't need a timer for and I turn off the timer but still appears. Another one is the home screen to app screen gets stuck on the home screen and have to turn my phone on and off a couple times to get to the apps. Other than that I see great potential and hope the bugs are fixed soon.

this interface works fantastically. I kept picking up my phone to do one thing only to find ten plus minutes later I hadn't even done it and was doing something else. my only gripe is that it's not easy to toggle on and off. sometimes, like when I am commuting or on the go or at the gym, I really would prefer to go back to a quick icon based interface to quickly open maps, transit pass, podcasts etc.

Minimalist found has been a great find for me, I wish I could rate it higher. It has been effective for me at reducing my screen time and increasing my productivity. I've reduced my doom scrolling, my reddit time, and checking my messages from hours to minutes. The problem is the screen freezes. It will freeze on the main menu but I can still move the user interface, so while the screen is stuck I try to tab over to other apps, but this morning it froze and I lost navigation, very frustrating.

Honestly, the app isn't bad, but I was pissed to find that it help my phone hostage when the trial ended. I had ended my subscription in advance, since I didn't want any surprise charges, but when the trial ended, it locked all functionality on my phone until I purchased a subscription. There was no way for me to reach the settings page, so I had no option to simply remove the app instead.

It's pretty good but sometimes easy to get around the features that are meant to reduce screen time. One feature I would LOVE to see is a schedule for automatic blocking of apps - for example setting a bedtime or work time when all of my selected social media apps are blocked, automatically, every day. I know I can block them manually but often I forget to do so. I would also love to be able to set an app usage limit per day. If either of these are beta options I'd love to test them out.

Nice features. The timers to decide how long you'll be on an app every time you open it is a good way to stop doom scrolling. The simplistic design truly helps to stay off your phone. One bug I run into somewhat consistently is not being able to open the app drawer. I swipe, but it stays stuck on the home screen. A few times I had to go into my settings to force stop the minimalist app and that helped it get unstuck.

Definitely limits my screentime and helps me mindfully pick which apps I want to engage. It has the potential to help you too as long as you set your timers, hide your apps and use the block feature (careful: that one is for true go-getters; the only way to get around a block is to wait out the timer you set for the app. No other way). Personally speaking I was on the fence about getting a dedicated dumb phone but using this app instead saved me some serious cash and isn't completely limiting.

Do not install this on your on your phone. I installed it for the free trial but then once the free trial ended minimalist phone took over my phone and wouldn't let me access any apps unless I purchased a subscription. I could not access the settings on my phone to remove this app unless I paid. I spent a long time searching for how to remove this app without having to pay couldn't find anything. This this app is really scammy. Be careful!!

UPDATE after two months: After two months of paying for this app I decided to uninstall. The main thing that set it apart from similar apps like Indistract was the app timer--it can just kick you out of an app when you hit the time limit. This was glitchy, though, enough that it wasn't worth it to keep. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Been using for a few days and I'm very happy so far--it interrupts the unhealthy neural pathways that had me wasting so much time. We'll see how long it works.

This app generally does what it says, so I've been satisfied with it. Recently, though, I've discovered that if I start the phone without network access, it will refuse to run. It forwards to its own Play Store page until I connect. I assume this is an anti-piracy measure. But the fact is I paid for this app; and, since it is my launcher, this behavior is rendering my phone unusable when I start it on an airplane, for instance. It needs to be more tolerant. Fix this, and I'll improve my rating.

Good app, though very expensive compared to similar apps. I wish the app had a "widget" for calendar, so that it displayed events as a simple line of text on the home screen which would open to the calendar app when tapped, like the clock in the home screen. Same with a simple weather indicator. This would prevent opening those apps as often. Indestractible launcher offers this and I miss that feature. Please also let us use photos as backgrounds and add choice to orient the clock to the left!

it's good but it can be better, would still recommend. my favorite feature is the reminders to get off the apps. If I could change one thing it would be on the favorites page when scrolling all the way to the bottom and swiping up to open the search tool. Instead of swiping up you give us the option to click on an up arrow to access the search tool. I constantly find myself scrolling to the bottom trying to find an app and accidentally opening the search tool when scrolling.

I love this app! It keeps my phone super simple. It is the great equalizer of my apps. All of them appear the same with just the name in white font and the background in black. No icons, no distractions. Just the app name. One thing I'd like to figure out is how to change my subscription status from the $5/month to the $25 lifetime/unlimited use. I wanted to try it at $5 for a bit but now I definitely want to keep it and can't figure out how.

I liked it so much I got the full paid version. You do want to pay for apps with this much access to your device, otherwise they're probably selling your data. I cut my screentime in half without the constant battle all day about it. I just thought to myself, do I really need to do that RIGHT NOW? And if not I just don't. And I'm way less stressed by all the craziness on my phone. I wish there was a way to only retrieve the filtered notifs at certain times.

I absolutely love this app. Paid for the full version. I have ADHD and this app has been a much-needed boon to my productivity. Would love to give it 5 stars, but it has this strange problem where it won't slide right into the app scroll menu. I have to turn the screen off multiple times to get it to allow me to swipe. Seems like the UI gets stuck or something. Other than that, it's perfect. Would love to see this small problem get fixed. I have a Galaxy S21 FE 5G if that helps.

It doesn't actually filter most notifications away from me seeing them which is strange. I specifically set notifications from several apps to be filtered and they always show anyway. Can't figure out if I'm doing something wrong and it's not like there's an easy spot to answer questions about the app or learn how best to use it. Overall just very confusing and inconsistent. But looks cool.
