Must have app for Mini owners! It has saved me tons of money and time ! The other members of this app have always been so nice and informative!! I wish I could give it 10 stars!! ❤️❤️

When it works it's great. It does not update in real time even if you reset app. I park my car in an underground and my car does not connect the majority of the time. Frustrating app.

The app barely gives information about charging, has no interactive buttons to see if things like pre conditioning is on or off - or is my car locked? Who knows. But by golly you sure do change my theme a lot. Stop playing with the background images and make your app more useful.

Bought a used jcw 2017 Clubman. Was hopeful this app would play apps from my phone nativity on the display. Nope. The app really does nothing for my car. It no longer even supports Alexa. Kind of a turn off to buying a Mini in the future if the brand so quickly stops supporting it's older models. I'm sure this app might be more useful for a new car, but for my 2017 it literally does nothing.

[Udpated 07 July] Response from support doesn't really help, looking at all the other reviews, the best statement is that BMW owning MIni it has lost its way entirely on the brand and what it means. They've stopped being a unique fun brand and completely mis-managed it. There is no reason for artificially limited access to this app. The previous app worked fine on all my other mini's and stopped working on this one. You shouldn't need a package, it should simply support Android Auto alongside Apply Carplay. Disappointing.

I used to use this app to great effect. Then one day it logged me out for no reason, and ever since I can't even get the LogIn screen to load so that I can sign in. I get the Circle of Doom while it attempts to load. I've tried uninstalling the app and re-installing a few times. I really wish this would work, as I found it quite handy to check my battery life and I could set climate controls for the weekday mornings.

Clearly not for android!!! Works every time on my iPads but I don't carry them in my pocket such as I would with my s22 ultra. Can't stay logged in (if and when it randomly connects). I have to keep logging in but even that is spotty. Very, very disappointing to have a feature that I need to have an iPhone to take advantage of. Really very exclusive to build a car designed around Apple rather than every operating system. Tsk, tsk!!! One would expect more out of BMW!

Was able to register successfully, but could not add my Mini because my address was incomplete. But everytime I enter my address, it gives me an error to "try again later or visit the Mini Connected website". AND everytime I go to the website, it tells me my user ID/password is invalid!!! Sure it gives me the map and the nearby fuel stations, but I can already do that in Google maps. And to find out it's only compatible of you have 2018+ models. WASTE. OF. TIME.

When I first started using the app, I loved that I could remotely vent my 2019 Cooper S. Also, know fuel levels, etc. Was very useful. With the changes that removed support for older vehicles, it is disappointing that Mini has left those of us with 3 year old cars without support. I will certainly take this into account when choosing my next car. Why couldn't there be an update to the vehicle to maintain support?

The app is mostly good and works with my 2022 SE. However, "charging history" is missing and that is quite disappointing, as I have no way of tracking charging info. Edit: the "charging history" is absent from the vehicle tab, and I know I am looking at the right place. I also know other ev users can't see it. Not sure if this is a difference between the us and europe apps.

Won't work on a 2017 mini with touch navigation xl, confirmed with mini support that it cannot be set up. The old app that worked, barely, is being sunset. The vehicle was sold with limited android support - and even that is being taken away before the warranty expires! Now there's no way to navigate spotify playlists beyond or view album art without the picking up the phone. Why so much contempt for Android, which is 72% of the market?

The old Connected app was difficult to install and connect to my Countryman, but I was finally able to get it to work. I liked the look of told app and the way the was displayed. The fi d mate was a very useful feature. Then, today the app stopped working! Anyway, I finally installed the latest version which has all the old info, but isn't as visually pleasing AND DOESN'T have Find Mate! Very disappointed. I really expected more, especially since the issues the app is old news. Boo on Mini!

The app is okay. It works, but it is really slow to send signals. Scheduling appointments is iffy. I don't use the app often, but I like the vehicle status feature. Also, the app recently started interfering with other things. Now, when I click Microsoft SharePoint links from email, the MINI app opens. I had to uninstall the MINI app in order to open my links!

It's got great potential, but... It's clunky to navigate, and many clickable elements are different parts of an infographic like a pic of the car. It has settings for notifications, but I never get any. And yes, I have battery optimization turned off, and it had full notification permissions. I would love a "your vehicle is not plugged in" message at a time I can schedule. Also the record of charging sessions is nice, but it would be even nicer to have access to that data outside the App.

The app experience has improved significantly since I started using it in Nov 2022. The remote services (like climatize or lock/unlock) and login are much more reliable now. One feature I wish it had was to set charging schedule by day. In the app, I schedule charging to start at 9p, but I can't set it to charge immediately on weekends when power is also cheap for me. Lastly, a "charge now" or "ignore schedule once" function would be useful for charging when away from home.

Cannot add my vehicle because the service is continuously unavailable. Instructions to visit the "Mini Connected website" is useless because miniusa just directs you back to the app. Absolutely the worst part of my Mini experience so far. Edit: Once connected, the app also drains your battery just sitting in the car, and the remote commands take so long to be transmitted you're better off walking to the car and doing it yourself. Can't even turn the engine and heating on remotely in the morning
