You provide payment details first (£23 p.a.) then get 3 days free, but app shows you other people's animations and doesn't show you how to make one of your own. I got as far as posting a portrait but there's no instructions on what to do next and no clear options. There an invitation to get a further app, which I imagine you have to pay for. I tried but couldn't find a way to make my own animation, so cancelled through app store and uninstalled. Might have subscribed if instructions were clear.

Didnt make anything dispite using about 5 different pictures. It said "and error occured" after making me watch an ad every single time. Didn't even bother buying the premium version even though it shoves it down your throat at any given chance. Don't waste your time at all, it doesn't work.

Will only allow creation of one animated photo. After which, no matter what photo and voiceover is used, even the ones built into it, it errors out during creation saying technical error. One star only because the first photo worked.

Pictures and words don't sync up, pictures get morphed into hideous blobs when animated... a very big disappointment especially since they want you to pay for it. Didn't even utilize the full free trial. Not good at all. Do not recommend!

Just found this "Mimic" thing. It's okay, I guess. Probably gonna delete it though. Anyway, this is all it does....Puts someone else's voice and words in place of your own on an animated picture, which in this case, made my left eye twitch, like an igmo! Anyway...not too impressed, but then again, nothing really impresses me anymore...

1st of all, after i record my voice and wIt a half hour, it says you all are having technical problems!! i tried 4 times!!! what a rip-off! not to mention your app is hard to navigate!! fix these issues, and your rate will go up! until then, it's a 1!

I have had the Mimic App for close to 2 years. I bought the annual subscription because the price was only $34.95. I posted a review with high praise last year. The faces are now distorted. There are very few choices in songs. The rest are short one sentence sayings. Worst of all the videos are mostly around 15 seconds. I will not be renewing my subscription when it ends in October.

All is after is your money, period. 20 commercials in a few minutes.. and I hate every song that was put with each picture that I way not sharing no more dark stuff ugh there's no option to choose the right song for the right picture.. I wasted every one so far and hate each one..3 free pics, 3 videos? A ton of bugs and ads galore from the gate.. they all getting to be like this now.. rather just not play them no more..sad

Scam - Will take weekly payments and not respond to cancellation requests. I requested cancellation of the trial within 10 minutes, via email as there is no way to do it within the app, and they responded advising that they acknowledge my email and someone would respond - no one has responded and there is no way to see if payments have been taken (eg invoices, payments page) unless you check your bank. Do not download this app.

You should be able to get more than you do just from using the app, you shouldn't have to keep watching videos, because some of us can't afford a subscription and maybe we would like to check the app out a little bit more, before getting ourselves into a subscription ...... Besides you get to watch two videos and you're done for the day..... 🤷🏼‍♀️

Extremely well-played! The selection of pre -animated clips is large enough to be fun. Hopefully there is a free-style section somewhere within the app that allows me to place my own music or whatever onto the video and kind of so my own thing too. Whether that is available or not, Three thumbs up for a delightful<<<<7

This app messes your photo up badly while it animates it. It's atrocious, and it doesn't recognize animal faces unlike the face dance app. The face dance app is much better but still not perfect and I recommend it but for now I don't recommend the mimic app until it is improved at least a little more, until then it's definitely not worth paying for. And no I didn't pay for it because I don't have money at all, at the moment. Hard times, even getting a job, for me anyways. Not trying to be mean.

1st it won't let you go into any of your pictures folders, it chooses your "camera" but it's a mixture of all the folders. 2nd With the limited pictures from my "camera" that it allows me to see, it just keep showing me a select few, I keep scrolling but it goes back to the top after the first 20 pics. I only bought the week, thankfully I'd be more upset if I paid for more.

Good idea. Needs a lot work to polish it. Most pictures don't lip sync correctly. Also, some of musical options have too much and unnatural head and eye movements. Also, most of them I wanted to try are under a paywall (pro). I'm not willing to pay for the AI animation that needs more work. It should be done and working to want me to buy it. Also, I find this app advertising into children friendly game apps as this mimic app has cursing in the app. They should remove it before a law suit happens

Well, I can say my 3 day subscription's gonna be free because I aint paying for anymore. I get one picture out that's it and the next time I put any kind of picture with any kind of song, it keeps saying technical error over and over and over again. Thanks anyways, guys, but you gotta fix these bugs before anybody's going to do anything to purchase that.

After initiating my 3 day trial. It immediately subscribed to me paying monthly subscriptions. Within minutes i have tried and tried to find out how to cancel. I emailed them. No response. I tried on my Google pay. I don't see it there. It also says if you Uninstaller the app. That doesn't cancel it. I'm so annoyed. I just can't seem to cancel it. I do what it says. But of course, to their advantage. It won't cancel. Don't do the 3 day trial!! Beware.

FALSE advertising to get you to install. It is listed with No price & list in app purchases (like all the free apps). Then u install. It gets u to let it into your photos. Let's you pic one. It animates it but puts it behind it's message that you only get 3 free days and must pay a subscription. Seems like a data grab to me. They should list their price on the front with the in app purchase message like all the respectable Real apps do
