ZERO SUPPORT! ZERO SUPPORT! I purchased the app and encountered issues with some of its functions. I have contacted the developer twice so far for guidance and assistance in educating me, whether I am making a mistake or if what I am experiencing are app glitches. So far I have ZERO SUPPORT, or even any kind of acknowledgment email from them. I would understand if I was a free-loader where they dont want to be bothered, but I paid money for the app. Very bad first impression.

Best gas logging app since Gas Cubby. Really like the running MPG and economy calculations in different formats, partial fill-ups, multiple vehicle tracking, expenses, and custom service reminders. I also tried Drivvo and had Fuelly shortly after its change from Gas Cubby. Motolog seems to have import ability from other apps. My only criticism is incomplete Motolog transfer from my old device. Attempted CSV export from old and import to new because account login didn't sync the full data set.

Great app except for the last week. It's not picking up my trips anymore. It will auto start but doesn't detect speed or miles. At the moment I'm writing this, it is stuck in a trip that has lasted for over 3 hours and says zero miles. I have made 3 trips for work during that time. What is wrong? HELP?

I have been using the app for 16 months. I went to export from main menu report for 2022 and it failed. But looks like it was fixed on 1/8/23 and export to pdf now working. I really like this app and works for what I need it for. Does a great pdf report on your driving history. Use it for Doordash and app price per year is very good.

Needed a replacement for an older unsupported App. This turned out to be a much more capable replacement. Tracks mileage, expenses, revenue and even auto- logs trips. I don't pay for many Apps but this one was an exception. I just use it for personal reasons but it is easy to see how great it would be for anyone who has to keep mileage expense records. Simple, easy to use and full featured!

So far, so good. When refueling, adding the price per gallon and total cost should be default. Instead, app asks for either total cost or price per gallon. Some manual math is needed which seems a bit counterintuitive. The app should calculate gallons purchased automatically. This has to be done manually. Auto start seems to be working well with my pixel 5a with Bluetooth to my Kenwood head unit. GPS may be a tad off though. Lots of settings, a bit overwhelming. I have the pro version.

Labor intensive app. Poor Reminders implementation. Can export CSV files locally or to Google Drive but can't import its own files as exported. The export includes vehicles, refuelings and expenses only. If you create an account, the app can backup to that account, but after reinstalling the app, only Refuelings were restored in the free version. If you create an account, they provide no means to delete that account. I wonder if this is a privacy violation. At least it's totally unacceptable.

Would like capability to reassign a completed trip to another vehicle, as it occasionally tracks the wrong one despite my settings to distinguish between 2 cars. Overall Motolog has been doing a very good job for me so far. Picks up well on Bluetooth as well as Vehicle Movement, & does a great job tracking & showing maps after trips. Easy to change from Business to Personal with a quick swipe left or right. Fairly priced when compared to other similar apps. Developer responded quickly.

Seems like a good app versus competitors...the annual subscription is very reasonable. I haven't explored any automated features yet, like getting it to start recording drives automatically when it senses car movement. I would like to, though. The app has a lot of general expense and revenue tracking...it could be used as a tiny accounting system for some. I just need to easily log miles...I think it works as well as any I have seen so far. Responsive customer service.

one of the best mileage aps out there. I've only tried a couple, but it's very easy to separate business trips from private trips, and that process can be done at MY leisure. The ap can automatically start tracking whenever my car moves faster than 2.5 mph which means I don't have to remember to start a trip. There are other features that I don't use like tracking fuel economy by tracking when you fill up and more. Lastly, it's only $10 per year! Amazing!

TLDR: It is a good app when it works, but it is not great. This is better than most mileage apps. Unfortunately, they all suck, but this one at least works. A lot of them don't, or they have such severe bugs that it doesn't matter. I resisted actually using this one for a long time, though, because the interface is anything but intuitive. The interface of Motolog is not as good as some others. For example, you want to finish a trip manually, even if you have autostart (read further). It took me a long time to figure out how to do this. If you go into the trip and click on finish, it takes you back out, and you have to bring up the menu, select trips, select the trip, edit, and so on. Too many steps! Fortunately, you can pull down the window shade and see Finish there (most of the time). You still have to go into it and edit it because it is not any more accurate than any other mileage app when it auto records mileage. The funny part is that it gives you the opportunity to track up to hundredths of a mile. I don't know anyone who does that, but it is always wrong anyhow. I don't know why it bothers. However, by far the most annoying thing is that autostart doesn't always work, often autostarts for no reason, and too often does not work well. I have literally driven 2 miles and have to manually put in the mileage. Worse, if it starts recording 1.75 miles into a 2 mile trip, you might as well just delete it and enter it manually because it will not allow you to have different start and stop locations. It will keep resetting the other when you change one. I have not been able to figure out a way to reset times, either, unless I manually put the entry in. On the other extreme, I can sit here in my chair and rock, and it will start recording a trip. I've not had any other app do that. In fact, I was reminded to write this review because I set my phone on my desk, and 30 seconds later it decides I am traveling. There have been times when I literally walked across the street to another building, and it wants to record my travel the whole time. I don't understand why it does this when a real trip sometimes won't start recording for literally miles. The irony is that it is more likely to autostart when you click on Pause! Pause it, get into someone else's car, and sure enough, ding! It starts anyhow. BTW, just when you thought you got past the clunkiness, when (if you use autostart, when not if), you can long press on a trip and choose delete. The delete *icon* is on the top, but the confirmation *text* is on the bottom. Oh, and chances are your hand holding the phone is blocking the unexpected text in the unexpected location. It took me forever to figure out why I could not delete trips. Exporting data is about as clunky as the rest of the interface, but the export works well. I need to export by month, and it is pretty easy to do so once I figured out how. I should mention as well that the categories are easy to set up and get going, and you can select times for them to take effect. However, you cannot choose "workdays" to set up a schedule. I had to set up one for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each. Fortunately, you only have to do this once! So, yeah, it works most of the time, but there could be some improvements.

Pretty good app. It is detailed than most. Update: it has better usage of battery. And now there is a way to edit odometer. still small issues with the movement option. It doesn't always detect movement. if it does, it starts the trip late. Or in some cases, it will detect an entire trip, but won't actually show the tracking until you start a new trip. Also, it could be me but the weekly schedule doesn't seem to work well. EDIT: app seems to be slowing down, and there is no way to organize trips

Overall it does what it says. But I sometimes have to uninstall the app and reinstall...because a trip will lock up and not track...and there is no way to delete or pause stop the trip...its locked up basically. Changing settings did not work so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and everything is back on track. So keep your eyes on it...except when driving of course...

It is decent. I got this to compare to the tracker I have in my car. Downside is that because it runs constantly in the background, it has been draining my phone battery. Unfortunately I didn't catch the premium renewal in time, so I have a year of this. It would be nice if this doesn't need constant access to run and ran more like Android Auto. I use both this and Android Auto+pandora. Android Auto+pandora together don't even compare to what this uses. Not even close. This is always at top.

I love that it automatically detects trips. I love the Bluetooth detection function. I really like the way you could swipe left all right to determine whether or not it's a business or personal trip. $5 a year is awesome! I could divide that to figure out my daily cost but I think it's pretty safe to say that it's minuscule! I really like the way it's set up and all that I end up having to do is swipe if it's a personal trip. Great work!

I've emailed the creator several times because I had to uninstall and reinstall the app because it was stuck in a trip and nothing I tried would get it to end that trip. Now I can't even get to the login screen. I haven't been able to use it for over a week, but you better believe they were available to charge my account. Can't be bothered to answer emails of a paying customer. So much for "priority support"

It's an 'ok' app but the layout and design is confusing. It offers a lot of features but they are disconnected. All I wanted was a clean interface milage tracker and mpg tracker. All the extra options and graphics got in the way of a clean design and user able interface. I started using a different app due to the design and easy services.

Originally, I wrote a poor review because I had to upgrade and couldn't find the price.. Technically, it shouldn't be under "free app" because it isn't. But I gave it 5 stars because it's an excellent app! I can start it or stop it myself, or just let it track continually. I can input other expenses. It's easy and I am happy with the price AND the quick response I got from the developers! I will keep the app....it's reasonably priced and gives you different packages. Thanks!

Other than the subscription method, the best mileage and fuel tracking app I've ever used. 2023-08-31 update: the mileage tracker is frozen in the recording track position, with an aggregate drive time of 30 days and no update to the mileage. Have to force stop app at night to keep from draining my battery. This combined w no import function for reinstall to fix, I'm moving to a new solution.

Better than MileIQ. That being said, this app has a lot of bugs and disappointments which create seemingly endless frustration. I have to use this app to record my mileage to keep the IRS happy, but I'm constantly having to deal with problems, and it's very annoying. If I'm not getting shorted on mileage, it will say something like "address look up scheduled" and never enter the address, and I'll have to do it manually. It's a necessary app, but too many bugs.
