At first, it was detecting every drive, no problem. Then it would occasionally miss drives. Now, it's missing drives fairly frequently without rhyme or reason . I have checked the battery and detection settings, and they're not the issue. I've had this app 6 months and am not trusting it anymore. Yet this is the app my company uses

This app does track mileage well, BUT it classifies 1 drive as 15-25 individual drives, so my drive to work shows up as 20+ drives, every time. I have messaged support and for 2 days it worked perfectly after an update, then it went back to breaking down each drive into multiple ones. Now I have to spend time every day logging into the website and linking my drives so that I don't print off a 50 page monthly report for my accountant. Will give 5 stars if it ever works right.

I've used this app for years and now it just keeps logging me out on my phone, it's just gotten progressively worse. I REALLY liked this app but now I can't even use it on my phone. The desktop version is SUPER slow too. Please fix this and I'll revert back to the original 5 stars. I'm a man of my word, reverted to 5 stars. Issues with mobile were fixed. Desktop could use polish but I'm happy again. Thank you.

Y'all updated the app to show the start/ end location addresses but the addresses shown are incorrect. app or website has no way to correct it. Also entire route taken shown on the map not just the amount of miles driven and start/end locations would help. Also need option to put data into more organized spreadsheet format the reports are messy, confusing, hard to follow as it prints on several pages with repetitive info even in portrait mode. Please fix, will raise my rating or no more money.

Not really sure what is going on here! I must have already downloaded the "new" app. All I know is that the app has placed the wrong address for my home which is the start or stop of 80% of my drives! Add to that it can't be globally changed which means I now have to manually change all the drives I've done since the beginning of this year! This will be a big pain! I wish there was a good competitor to Mile IQ because I would switch! They are not thinking through the changes they make.

Won't record trips anymore. Tried every setting, contacted help, they simply sent me a link to the help file that wasn't helping in the first place. Poor customer service. Installed another app, it's recorded my trips the last two days, and still nothing on this app. Worked ok for a few months, stole my money in May. Moving on, want my May money back.

Worked well for years. Missing drives recently. Takes forever loading the maps with the drives. Have to uninstall and reinstall. Now all my drives have disappeared from online dashboard. Serious problems with the app right now. Update. After months of unreliability, the app seems to have returned to the useful tool it previously was. Couldn't be happier with it now.

I've used this app for 3 years. It has never been great but was functional. WAS... Between the small segments of a trip that need to be joined and the missed trips 100's of miles at a time, its infuriating. Since the latest update, it tracks trips that never occurred in the middle of the night to the middle of nowhere. Now my wife thinks I'm sneaking out. She's going to file for divorce. Thanks a lot, Miles IQ.

This app has turned to absolute trash lately. I've uninstalled and re-installed, confirmed all the required permissions and recommended settings, blah, blah, blah! I'm tired of joining 1.1-mile segments together over trips of several hundred miles to classify together. I'm tired of adding trips manually when the app fails to auto-recognize. And I'm especially tired of PAYING for an increasingly frustrating experience!

Terrible app. It will reset you rides when you classify them at random. I've been going for 40 minutes trying to classify drives for just 2 weeks. None are classified, they are reset after every 10. So you have to start over I've classified the same drive probably 10 times in the last 20 minutes. Happens every time I use this godforsaken app. And it doesn't even get better if you buy the premium version. Use literally any other app to track how far you drive.

The only "set it and forget it" mileage tracker that has reliably worked for me. I happily shell out the premium yearly subscription for this. A worthwhile business expense if you don't want to deal with monthly/weekly/annual spreadsheets and post-its, bits of paper and notes to self. I like how you can use different vehicles and categories, and set a schedule so that it automatically can class weekend driving (let's say) as personal or whatever you choose. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Mileage tracking is pretty accurate, but you occasionally get errors where it splits one drive up into two or three or more if you sit at a traffic light too long. That's not the end of the world though as you can quickly join the drives together... Organising the drives, adding notes can be a little frustrating as there's no auto correct on your typing and there's no auto capitalisation if you write a multi sentence note either. Small frustrations, but the app does its job so I'm satisfied.

The app is good in that it measures every inch you drive. However, every time you stop at a red light, it starts a new drive. Drive 15 miles on city streets and you may have to combine 15 drives. Update: they fixed it ..and then unfixed it multiple times and it's even more annoying now. Also, I have had to reclassify all my drives over the last two weeks every day because it keeps resetting. Unfortunately, auto renewed, so I have to figure out how to cancel and get my $$ back. 2⭐ -> 1 ⭐

Overall a great idea, super convenient when it works, sadly it doesn't always track accurately. Gotta keep an eye on it. I had to manually enter about 50 miles in the last month alone that were suppose to be auto-tracking but didn't. Would have cost me $33.50 just for that month if I hadn't caught it. One of those was a 18 mile trip. Why bother paying for an app if you have to make sure it tracks correctly?!

Unfortunately, I have to downgrade my review. This app is great in that it automatically logs my drives and easy to categorize drives as business or personal. However, the past couple years, the app doesn't automatically come on after a while. It shuts off, and doesn't come back on until I notice - sometimes months later. This causes me to miss drives & take time to piece them together, adding them manually. That defeats the benefits of the app. *Update* customer service helped rectify this.

This is a pretty good app. I absolutely hate the auto mileage tracking. It's annoying to turn off every time I want it to stop tracking drives. I think the monthly fee to track over 40 drives is ludicrous. Should be a one time fee, if at all. What is there to continually improve to be worth a subscription fee? Just log the trip. That's all I want. Now it's started breaking trips when I get caught in traffic. Using up more of my 40 free trips.

Not great, stop and go traffic means a lot of rides are split up into bits, and for whatever reason the app deleted the first few days of rides that I had already classified as personal or business. I would also like a button easily accessible to pause the app when I'm not in one of my own vehicles. Something directly on the home screen of the app, or maybe a widget would be cool.

Just realized I've been losing 1,000's of miles per year using this app. Mile IQ doesn’t capture all mileage if driving around a neighborhood. It just measures from Point A to Point B. It also misses entire trip segments. It appears there is a disconnect when going from WiFi to Phone Data. Also, editing trips is very limited. You cannot edit trip mileage. Edits are performed after trips which messes up timelines. Additionally, you can only add one segment of a missed trip at a time.

Lately I've noticed that drives I've done have not been recorded. I've been using this app for years, subscribed. Paying a monthly fee for an app that doesn't work properly is not good. I've looked thru the help center and all seems to be set correctly. I can't find a way to contact support. I will have to seek another app to log my drives if I can't get some support to correct.

Update 5/31 Most problems have resolved themselves. App still will not select the correct vehicle based on Bluetooth connections. Sub-optimal. Was excited to find an app to help organize my tax records for business travel. Well... Some drives show up 10 hours later, some never do. The Join Drives icon doesn't appear in the app. Auto vehicle detection using Bluetooth doesn't work, it defaults to my primary vehicle every trip. Starting to wonder if this was a waste of money.
