While there is a lot of great news. I find the app VERY frustrating. I will be reading a news article, and it will disappear, and a different news article will pop up in its place. And then you can't find the original news item you were reading about. This needs to be fixed, please. I'm not sure if I'll keep this or delete it. But, it needs to be fixed so a person can continue to read the news article they were originally reading.😠 Same with reading comments. Page reverts back to the homepage.

Terribly clunky app. Can't copy text to do searches, can't download photos. Tap the wrong part of the phone and you'll completely lose what you were reading. There are always five or more instances of it open when you go to see all your open apps. And the suggested articles tend to be poor quality, with comment sections (the ones that are open anyway) filled to the brim with toxic wackos.

When I first started using it, was easy and I managed to get a decent amount of credit. However, I'm not sure if it's a bug in the system, but now I'm not receiving any credit and the camera software is saying can't read receipts. Yet the system accepts only later to be cancelled. I've Uninstalled and reinstalled, several times within the past month. Works for a day and then has issues.

News articles are no longer loading; there's infinite loading and then there's a popup that says "The app has a bad configuration, please try again later." The setting to Auto set wallpaper is no longer available on Pixel 8 Pro, but at least this app doesn't crash completely when trying to read news, unlike Bing, so I guess I'm keeping this app and uninstalling Bing. One annoyance is that clicking on one system notification will clear all system notifications

This app all of a sudden in one my Science interests section was hijacked by YouTube science videos and showed less Science news articles to actually read through. Then a few seconds ago the navigation bar always shows news button to read articles. That all of a sudden changed on its own and was replaced by a video button to view videos. I don't care about viewing news videos on my mobile device. That content I can stream on a tablet or on a TV. Tired of reinstalling this app to fix this

this app is honestly buggy, biased and no longer a dependable outlet. I don't care what side you're on, I like to see a good debate. unfortunately the comments force close the app. Not that it matters as you can't actually hear from both sides, none the less independent sides. I was taught to watch both sides to get the full picture, now I'm being told what the picture is and to not bother looking. I'm good, thanks though Micro-Soft news.

I've mainly been using this for the receipt scans bc everything else was so buggy to use. The points from reading articles and doing the quizzes/polls, etc..that whole system was frustratingly buggy. Now, the receipt scanning just keeps getting worse with every update. They have it so the receipts you scan go into review before getting points. But my last 9 were canceled for no reason. If these next ones are canceled, I'm deleting the app. It's just a waste of time and is too stressful.

I love that it is a one stop app for me to browse, get news, and access weather easily. The bing rewards and cash back were great initially, but now they suck. Bing rewards have been reduced and my receipt submissions keep getting cancelled. I HATE how there is no way to "fix" the receipt or communicate somehow that a cash back offer did not attach to an item on the receipt! This app had great potential, but now I find it frustrating and annoying.

Once again, receipt scanning doesn't work. It's been fine for many months for me, then they "fix" something that isn't broken, & break it (it looks much different now, so they made a completely new UI that doesn't look like my phone camera anymore). What a horrible company. Microsoft is the only company i know that when they accidentally get something right they will do everything they can to destroy that something. Very inconsistent app, on it's best days.

If you're using this to get MS rewards points each day, don't bother. MS made some changes recently, it seems, and searches almost never register. If you want the full 100 points a day for doing mobile searches, prepare yourself to have to open the app 15 times over the course of the day and just hope that a search or two registers before they just suddenly stop. As far as news goes, it's fine. I'd rather use the default Google news or an app specifically for news.

Once was great..but sadly no more. I have been using this app for years. It was my go-to app for news. However the past few months they app hardly works. When it does work it may close the app abruptly in long articles or when reading the comments. I hope they correct these issues soon otherwise I will be forced to find another general news app to use.

Worthless. I can't even read stories on MSN anymore. The expand option never comes up anymore, unless you delete your cookies after every story, and when you do use this app, it shuts down after about 2 seconds. Guess I'll stick to CNN. How evil does a company have to be when they load data to your phone to stop the expand button from showing up on the news site? I literally deleted the data download in the site settings for MSN on my phone and the expand button is available again.

I downloaded it to scan receipts and get the rewards, but they've started telling me some are invalid without explanation. Can't find the option to appeal. Also, when you read articles, the censorship of absolute garbage. Some will say, in review, and I never hear of see any communication. Not serving my purposes and I know Microsoft is making money from my data. And not crediting me a single penny for my receipts. Wait, there's more. There's even a limit to rewards you can get in a time frame.

Awful experience. When I have to expand an article, it sends me back to downloading or opening the app even though I already have the app. Then it goes to web page not available. I hate this app!!! The original app with the butterfly is so much better and easier to navigate. Bring that app back. Meanwhile I will be looking for a user friendly news app that actually works.

First off, it takes to long to get this app up and running just to read a story just to close it. The main reason it gets a 1 star however is because MSN has made it almost impossible to read their stories without the app on phones. Most of the time, the expand story option is not available and open app or download app is the only way to read it. Finally tired and done with it. I just wanted to read some stories, half the time MSN didn't even write the article. I am deleting after this review.

This app needs a lot of improvement. Every time there's an update the app stops working. It will not load half the images on the page. On both of my android devices it will not load anything else until you uninstall it and reinstall it. I like the reward points, but you need to work on fixing the app. Also if you're reading an article, the app will go off the page while you're reading and go back to the homepage.

Probably the single worst-performing app on my device. Face it, we're just here for the points, but even that feature barely works. Sometimes you don't get points, sometimes you gotta resubmit receipts multiple times, and sometimes the entire app just stops giving any indiciation it's working at all. The built-in browser is always trying to take over and is a slow, lumbering pile of garbage. And to top it all off, it's a battery hog. It's also identical to the Bing app, so why does it exist?
