I love Michaels, but the app and website are terrible! Nothing half works like it's supposed to. Now, neither the app, nor the website is recognizing my account password. Tried to change the password through both, but it keeps telling me that the link to reset my password is expired, although it also says that the link is good for 30 min and it's only been about 5-10 min. This is not a new problem with both platforms. I've tried troubleshooting, etc. but NOTHING has improved..unistalled the app

This app is barely functional, and I've only been able to order from it once. It's slow to load. The filters bug out: selecting the wrong critera, unable to uncheck unwanted filters, and unable to apply/close the filters. It's nearly impossible to actually sort by what items are available in store. It's amazing that this company can't create a better app than this. It really discourages ordering online. And with this pandemic going on I'm not going in the store.

I will agree with other recent user's reviews as to the functionality of this app. It was great up until about 3 weeks ago. Now it's so glitchy, won't open its own tab pages, and the weekly ads have all but disappeared. Its pretty worthless unless you are in a Michaels store and want to use price check,your coupons, or rewards. Customer service says to uninstall & re-install. Same problems. I'm resigned to signing onto the website if I want to do anything other than view the app home page.

This app is not user friendly. It's actually quite difficult to try to use. You're stuck clicking through numerous tabs and categories to try to get to where you want to go and then when you're finally there, there's no view all button. Not to mention the back button is too far up top even notice. It constantly freezes and is quite buggy when trying to search for something.

Downloaded this to use the price scanner. It was able to pull items from the tags only half the time, used a very low resolution, couldn't focus, and struggled to capture the tag every time. The coupon codes were easy to pull up and work well, but considering that I could pull those from the website, and the only thing I needed this to do was smoothly pull prices, it was the worst price scanning app I've ever used.

I really want to like this app, because I love the joann's one. But this app is just not functional. I can't search for anything, an error page pops up. When the search does actually load, it doesn't show me the same results as the actual internet. It's extremely slow, and not responsive. So I can't use the user code or coupons in store. I have to Google what I'm looking for to find out if it's in stock, and I have to place orders that way. So the app is doing nothing for me.

This app is awful. I lost internet connection, and it reverted everything in my cart from store pickup to shipping. After I changed that back, it added the quantity of each item to 5 per. Now (with service) it keeps glitching on the checkout screen. It shows the loading symbol then everything goes blank. It's a neverending cycle. The quantity per store is never really updated on the app, and it doesn't remove old things that aren't carried anymore from your favorites.

This app used to be great. Then randomly I started getting a invalid argument error. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I have cleared my cache. I even went as far as to default my phone and redo all. This one app does not let me navigate to my coupons or rewards. I can shop. I can check out. But none of the other aspects work. I called into the care number and they say they can't do anything outside of letting the tech support know but they didn't collect my accounts info.

Usually this is a great app. But lately I can't search anything. The key pad goes away several times whenever I try to type, then it will randomly stay long enough for me to type in my search. Only to give me an error message stating my search could not be executed. Ive tried searching multiple things and the same thing happens every time. Ive closed and reloaded the app and still im having issues. I think the app needs a bug fix/update.

How come when I have notifications turned off in the settings, I still get them?? When I specify no, when most people say no, we mean NO notifications. Irritating. That toggle is pointless. ......Edit: Got in contact with support and they were able to stop the push notifications. Apparently linked to me being signed up for email promotions. Again...WHAT is the point of the in-app toggle if the app completely ignores? Good service, poor design. .......Edit 2: And they're back. Of course.

This app is spying on you. It wants permission to turn on bluetooth when it opens. If you say no, the app claims that it needs bluetooth permissions to function. Likewise, if you allow the app to access your location only when you open it, you get a message that it needs your location data at all times. This is complete bull. There are way too many permissions required just to get some in-store coupons and an ad. Plus search and item look up functions are bad. Interface sucks too.

I used the Michaels app today for the first time to purchase a poster frame for the "Beatles On The Rooftop" performance. Prior to using this app, I used a browser. Honestly, I found this app to be rather slow and clunky. It seemed to take a long time for the pages to load. I did purchase one item today and after clicking the purchase button to buy, nothing would happen. This went on for way too long before the purchase finalized. It seemed as if everything froze.

Apps down more then it's up. It was good for the adds, which you can read online without taking up the space on your devices. Last update broke that too! No incentives for using the app either. Sorry, Michael's you've been taking up space in my device. It's the bottom of the barrel when it comes to craft store apps, and I'm not scrapping bottom anymore. All other craft stores are more efficient. You've been, Uninstalled!!

I would love love the app... if it actually worked. The search function is so broken. And not being able to hide Makers Place items is an absolutely major pitfall. The cart total is also very slow to update. Pictures don't like to load. Just scrolling through categories is fine, but the moment you add any sort of filter it just bugs out. The filter doesn't even work half the time anyway.

This app is ridiculous (retailer's fault, not dev's fault). They send you coupons to get you to use it, but then anything you might actually want to buy is excluded. Just searched literally 279 items from $2-$800 that I'm interested in and not a single one was eligible, with the exception of some single-item pencils (provided you pay five times the cost of the pencil to have it shipped). While I guess this isn't technically deceit, it is certainly misleading and upsetting and a deterrent to use.

They have a lot of problems that could be fixed if they had a beta testers! They should have spot in the order history that has in-store purchase, so you can easily look up emailed receipt that should be saved in the app for easier access. The app can be confusing when your trying to find rewards for instore use. The vouchers program needs a revision. I never used a voucher had made a return and was unable to obtain a new reward until I earned back $8+ in credit for something I never used?

The app is serviceable for browsing, finding sales, and placing online orders but there are several glaring issues. The most recent update made it so while you are browsing for items about half the screen is taken up by filters. It's so bad that you can only see one item at a time. It also cannot keep you logged in so you have to do it every time, which is annoying. Finally, it seems to crash when you tab over to another app. Love Michaels but this app needs work.
