A very GREAT demo for, well... being a demo! You can filter the graphics to make it run smoother, and on the game play side of things... god is it fun! There was like 6 hours of content in this demo alone, for what must've been like 1 hours worth of story, and it wasn't boring at all! I highly Recommend this game to everyone who likes monster team RPGs!!!

What a great try to buy product, easily a 5 hour demo to show you what you get from the main product. Sold me on parting with my 20 dollars for the title, pro tip you will want enough room to install both paid and unpaid versions of you intend to buy the premium to transfer your save. The premium automatically checks for stored save data upon hitting new game. Amazing product capcom thanks!

I'm enjoying it and love Monster Hunter on Console but the pace is a bit slow and I'm disappointed that its turn based rather then a hack n slash kinda thing with awesome skills. It just seems like they made it very child friendly and doesn't have the excitement of the other monster hunter style games. Also I'm dreading the tutorial being over as I'd NEVER pay 20 dollars for a turn based game. especially when I can play similar games for free. I'd pay 4.99 at most.

To start i wish i woulda known this is NOT a full game. The $20 game is the full version and you cant progress past a certain point in this game. As a veteran player i understand how saving in monster hunter works and there are additional ways to save its just not in the pause menu. The game itself is great and fairly simple to understand even without going through tutorials. Overall loved the game and could honestly put alot into it. not 5 *'s only because $20 is a bit much for a mobile game.

The gameplay is alright. A turn based affair where you and your "monstie" fight together to beat some snarky velociraptor look-alikes for most of the first section of the game. I think the gameplay presents itself as shallow whilst hiding some depth, but it's not really all that intuitive. Most of the time I'm trying to guess what my pet velociraptor will do, which is the main reason I die. All in all, it's an alright turn based RPG set in Monster Hunter.

A-Mazing! This is console come to mobile. Flawless controls, enchanting storyline, and endless gameplay. I'm about 40 hrs. in and have barely scratched the surface. Absolutely beautiful. I'm an avid gamer, and this is by far the best mobile (and in some cases console) experience I have ever had. Good job, Capcom. I usually don't pay for apps, but this is worth every penny.

As a rpg, it's good. The controls are clean, the story feels good. No complaints. As a Monster Hunter game, I feel like it's missing a lot I like about the series. Of course combat is different, very simplified to make it more rpg-like than action-like. As far as I can see, multiplayer is also less interesting. No more groups cooperating to complete a difficult hunt. Now it's just a Pokemon duel. It's not a bad game at all. If you're long for an rpg, this is a good pick. If you're looking for a mobile Monster Hunter, this isn't it.

Won't play. Constantly says there's no free space with over 8 GBs free on internal memory and about 60 free on the SD card. Would love to try this version out as I love Monster Hunter and Stories was fantastic on the 3DS. I'm more than happy to change the rating should the game become playable and don't want to discourage Capcom from putting out more titles like this.

would give it 5 bc its really cute and fun but it makes my phone restart randomly and frequently... this issue only occurs when i play the game and has never happened before this game or when im not playing it. I've fought the same monster multiple times on quite a few occasions and it's very frustrating and makes me hesitant to buy the other game for $20. I really hope this gets fixed somehow if possible because i really enjoy the game otherwise!

This is an AMAZING game! It's like Zelda and Pokemon, but all dinosaurs. I would buy this exact version of the game, but my only complaint that made me uninstall is the fact that it doesn't save right. You see "Autosave" pop up in the bottom right corner, but it doesn't save. I won't play games that don't save, what's the point? So disappointed. I'd rather buy it on the Nintendo Switch so I know it won't have glitches.

So far so good I love playing this game especially since I don't have my 3ds anymore and don't play my ps4 as much because of work, so this is a very good alternative solution to get a good game in my day. The only thing thats holding me back from buying the FULL game is how it can randomly crash. Like I love looters and adventuring, but what good is doing any of those things (the essence of this game) if it will crash on you preventing you from progressing in the story/quests. Like seriously this is my one and only concern and I do save frequently to avode this, but it slows me down significantly becasue I have to travel back to town to manually save in which game can still crash during my travel back. Im not sure if this will help, but I hope it does and I hope this gets the attention it deserves. I play on my LG V20 latest update of course and I notice game crashes on me when im mounted riding around, so far I have only crashed while mounted more than 2 times.

I did like the game alot and honestly it's got a bug that restarted the app. not a huge deal but I just got done hunting eggs and grinding for couple hrs. then with the restart I was was forced back to the last save. it happens with games that still have bugs to work out but I was very unhappy with it and hate to go through all that again if it's possible to happen again. it's personality reasoning but I uninstalled for this reason. I hope the bug is fixed for future downloads :-)

Probably one of the greatest mobile rpg games out there. Yes, it is a demo. But even as a demo you have a solid 5 or 6 hours of gameplay. Great graphics for a mobile game (like seriously I had to stop a few times just to take in the work these people put into this game. Not to mention the amazing cut scenes that you can rewatch as much as you like), no adds, and best of all no extra in app purchases. This game is seriously amazing there is so much to do and it's totally worth the $20!!! Honestly you could probably continue to play even without getting the full game because it let's you redo quests and there are still places you can explore even after you get to the end of the demo. But regardless this game is truly wonderful and beautiful and just amazinggggg!!! Thank you for making this game.

This game is amazing. Honestly, its probably the best Mobile port of all time graphically. With that being said, it does not have any controller support. While the need to touch the screen is important for some of the features, I found myself upset by the interference of my fingers constantly in the way of such beautiful scenery. You also can not play this game offline. When playing a largely solo experience, the inability to run this application without internet is a disservice.👎 fix this.

LG Stylo3, Amazing Game! In options for overheat reduction, i got to see the graphics at the lowest and highest.... I WAS ASTONISHED THERE BETTER THAN THAT ON THE NEW3DS! Seriously would buy this but to be honest it would mess up my life, i'd play it way to much. Great import, Capcom! Only thing id say is a con is that the movements give a weird feel but i dont think its a deal breaker or something that couldnt get used to, besides that... really all i can come up with.

First off, on my Samsung Note 8 the game looks so good! plays very smooth and i am enjoying the cute characters and storyline. i got my first monstie and when it goes to exploring on my own for the first time the game will glitch, pop up what looks like dos saying "MHST Reset". Then it resets and I have to start BACK at the start of the first open area. so its not saving auto even though its on! :( please fix in next update! my software is up to date as of this review 6/4/19

This is a great game and works great on my Galaxy S9+. It's one of the few games that I will buy at a $20 price. The touch controls are ok, but not easy to press certain things like "Items" in a fight. I am stretching the screen out to 18:9, but it should work better anyway. I feel it should have controller support since it was made on a portable console with a controller in mind. I would love to put this on a Shield TV if it was compatible...

looks like it has good potential to be a very fun game. the major limiting factor for me has been the limitee autosaving and ease at which it forces you ti reload the game if it needs to be minimized. Mobile games need to be very flexible with how you play. they should pause automatically when minimised, and run in the background well. if it does close you shouldn't lose progress. i had to replay some of the opening story gameplay literally 6 or 7 times because i kept having to stop playing.

Smooth, clear, graphics. Great soundtrack and fun battle system. This is my first time ever playing a Monster Hunter game. While I am new to the series and this game, the game quickly drew me in after a couple hours of gameplay. This demo is pretty generous, letting you play the first 3-6 hours of the game for free with no ads or monetization. Once you've completed it, you can transfer your save or even just continue playing without story progression.

I'd heard about the MH series before but ultimately decided to leave it alone. Fast-paced combat is difficult for me thanks to a gimpy arm, and I always found myself wishing I could fight alongside these beautiful beasties rather than just slaughtering them. This game solves both of those issues, and I couldn't be more excited! I will definitely be buying the full game once I'm done with this demo. The only gripe I have is the need for an internet connection. Once I understand, but requiring one every time I open the game—and force closing if it's in the background for too long—is really frustrating and just limits where I can enjoy playing the game.
