Been having issues my factory default texting app (it would lag incoming and outgoing messages by several days, if not dropping them completely). After i downloaded this Messages app and made it the default service, i send and receive nearly all messages (as far as I know). It's an adequate and decent app that will be kept as my messaging service.

Yeah, no. My installed AT&T messages on a new phone started glitching so badly I literally called tech support 20 times and took it into the store twice. no one and nothing helped. After installing this I was thrilled to see things sent immediately. Then came the ads. I send a LOT of photos in texts for my job. this app dominates the time and data I'm using with ads. no way to pay to get rid of them. this slows me down and is intrusive and makes it impossible to use

My experience with this ap has been horrible. The ads never go away they always persist. There is one ad, that has a get rid of usless ads button, it says to hit hit it, you hit it, thinking its to get rid of ads, but no, it's an ad itself. To top it off the last 2 days I can not send or receive messagrs at all. So I'd like to get of this ap, and will as soon as I find something new.

I'm going to unistall this messaging app as soon as I've found a good one. The app would be fast enough, but in the last two minutes this app continually sending me ads. They don't give enough time to write one word down. I'm a fast typer. I type 65/minutes. But they send me ads faster. Crazy! New after a new one turned off. Non stop! That is against any acceptable tolerance! They keep doing it with me, so I stop using them!!

I had this app on my Note 10 plus phone, and was my long time favorite. Upgraded to the S23 Ultra, and had to download this App after transfer of my information. Now you have to deal with advertising just to read your messages? Some of which blast out if your volume isn't turned down. No more checking messages in a quiet setting, or doing a quick check of your messages. BAD BAD MOVE ON THERE PART!!! I'm currently looking for another message App.

Avoid this app!!! Far too many ads. I was trying to send a text before reaching the edge of my cell service reach and an ad popped up before I could send it and would not go away until I selected the "Decline" option. Well, by that time I was already out of cell service so my text wasn't sent until 2 hours later when I finally got cell service back. I'm uninstalling this app and looking for a better one.

Good app when it comes to sending and receiving text messages like every phone does, but I could honestly do without all the ads. I can't even open the app nor send one text message at all without experiencing an ad & the ads occasionally make my phone go slow, causing me to have to force stop the app & go back in & start again. Gets annoying, literally!

When I first got this app, I loved it. Then the ads started popping up more and more. There's an ad every time you open the program and often with each new message from different senders. The ads are so abundant that I no longer enjoy using the app and I am actively seeking an alternative. If you can overlook the constant ads or if they offer a premium option with no ads, this will be a great app for you.

I downloaded this app when my default app went bad and I have been very pleased with it. there is always one short ad when you open it but it is very unobtrusive and you never get stuck in it. even with the ad that you will have to click off, I really like this app and would recommend it to someone looking for a replacement app. it works great, sends photos and integrated flawlessly into my Android phone.

So far, horrible. Ad pops up each time the app is opened. Text messages appear in no particular order making it difficult to find the newest text message. App doesnt seem to allow the use of gifs or even emojis. App randomly places text conversations in Archive folder. Other than these flaws (which were never an issue on my older, much cheaper android) it's just perfect.

OK, I've got this installed on my new Samsung Galaxy phone, but I'm a bit disappointed that there are some very annoying ADS that appear, (So far, only Temu) every time I'm going to send a text message. Yes, I can make it briefly disappear, but after being 'spoiled' for the previous Five Years, why should anyone have to deal with such a thing! And finally, I miss the Iconic Blue background, that's been a part of my 'Sent' texts, for years! Thank You! Happy New Year.

Bothersome ad has to be dealt with every time the app is opened. The app has a continuous new message alert and when I check for a new message, there may or may not be a message. So scanning back through the old messages looking for the reason for the alert has become an everyday thing and I find and open messages sometimes and then sometimes I don't , but either way the message alert never goes off.

Too many Ads & picture messages not clear. In order to send a text, you have to go through a Ad. To get a text, you go through a Ad. To close out of the messaging app, you have to see a Ad. Then, when you send a picture to someone, it's not clear like it shows before sending. Sometimes when someone sends me a picture, it doesn't come through, but I see others liking or loving the pic. Will uninstall once I find a better app.

This is by far the best app for sending and receiving messages. This is what I said when I first rated the app five stars. Today, though (12/27/23) the reasons for my frustrations; harder to navigate; can't delete conversations. Can only archive; haven't been able to receive codes from My Microsoft Account to access my programs. On top of that I'm on isolation and not allowed to go out due to COVID.SDDDDFHHHHTTTTTT.

This app is horrible. I had to find a different app because my other messaging app would close as soon as I tried to type a text. This one has an ad for "ad blocker" every time I open the app. Nothing but ads. I just want my old app back. I've used it for years and no ads and no trouble. I'm Uninstalling this one.

Having an issue with the native messaging app so downloaded this. These ads are sooooooooo annoying. I'm on a conference call and text my coworker information while they are doing a presentation when this commercial comes on blaring. It happened two separate times, like come on. Trying to figure out the issue with the native app so I can get rid of this!!

Frustrated, On numerous occasions I start to type a message and I get an ad pop up right in the middle of it and the same goes for when I'm reading a message. When it's something urgent I don't have time for pop up ads. Also many times I've tried closing the ads but they won't close unless I restart "message" which means I have to try and remember everything I typed and RE-TYPE EVERYTHING. 🤬 I understand you need revenue to keep your app alive but for goodness sakes, add some control.
