This app needs to get correct speed limits updated. After you dispute a drive it says it will update in 7-10 business days. I've been waiting nearly a month with nothing from the Mentor team. This app is more of a nuisance than anything else.

Not a good app. It misses trips constantly. You mark items as personal or passenger and it still drops your score. "Great" rated drives while on phone and hits you for phone usage when your not on it. Good idea... but it doesn't work.

I wonder which of the 2 prescripted responses I will get? App needs work. If your car auto stop/starts and youre wirelessly charging your phone it will count it as phone manipulation. If your phone slides in a cup holster or in your bag it's phone manipulation. Driving the speed limit (80mph) in rural areas? Then the phone alarms that you are driving too fast and records it at 84 mph. Can't use an acceleration ramp to be near higher speed limit areas without alarm for speeding. Needs an update.

Everyone I work with agrees that the app is super buggy and is very slow to complete basic functions. The FICO score accuracy is very questionable too. Just about everyday I get a "phone manipulation" while driving despite the phone being in the back of the car, in a cradle. I've emailed eDriving with my feedback, but they are unwilling to address their issues. The idea of the app sounds good, but it falls very short of functioning as described.

Company makes no effort to address reported issues. If you use the report feature a rep will get back to you about something you can buy or a workaround you can do to address the problem. They never forward your response to anyone who will make an improvement. Other issues: You stop the car, attempt to end your trip, make phone call, resume driving and it records ongoing call and no stopped trip. The only option is to log as a passenger. You can dispute it, but they will just sell you a cradle.

App has me speeding for 2 mins through a stretch of road posted 45mph then goes up to 55mph. I (have to) use this road everyday, and everyday I get flagged. The app has the same stretch of road at 30mph hence my "speeding". Everytime I try the option to dispute, the app crashes and doesn't allow me to dispute this. Please fix this issue. Tired of being flagged!

This app is terrible and if I wasn't required to have it for work I wouldn't. It's so sporadic on what takes points away and gives them. When the APP has an issue logging events that takes away from your score. Please fix these bugs. Defeats the purpose of having it if by it malfunctioning it takes away points. Not sure if these are safeguards for those trying to beat the system or what but not fair to those that have to use it and abide by it.

It is better in 2024 but still occasionally reports wildly inaccurate time and distance and shows impossible paths traveled If I could somehow pass through solid matter at hypesonic speeds I wouldn't waste my super powers on a driveaway job I'd visit a fed reserve vault or some other activities where these abilities would be an asset. 'sound methodology ' is not yielding accurate reporting consistently but it sure sounds impressive. Their support is timely and courteous if not effectual.

Consume too much battery even with my new handphone, not like what is stated in (When using the app, the drain on your battery is minimal. Mentor will typically consume less than 10% of a battery’s charge, and should not be an issue for most users.) And it cannot off it when not in use.

Speeds are constantly wrong. Penalizes your score for using your phone after you've parked and forces drivers to constantly watch their spedometer instead of driving safely with the flow of traffic. Their 'support' is horrible at best. No one should be subjected to using this poorly designed application with little to no infrastructure. Zero stars.

So drove for 5 hours during a work shift, had someone cut me off and had to brake, and the app dropped my score to 3 stars for one braking. It has this blackbox unknown method of scoring that depends on what phone you're using it on. There's no transparency at all, and company won't even respond to anything. A certain company needs to switch what app they use to track drivers cause the ficco®©®©¥¢ score is really dumb and doesn't actually track to good driving outcomes.

Terrible app. You have no control over the start and end of journeys so you get marked down for going through tunnel as it looses GPS and chops your journey in half so not enough events get recorded to score five stars. The same happens when in heavy traffic or waiting at train boom gates. The apps also records journeys when my phone is on charge inside my house driving through parks and neighbors houses. To get five star rating i have to drive more aggressively for the internal sensors to work.

It wastes so much time, that every time you stop you need to wait 3 min if you use your phone. You can manually indicate that you stopped to answer a call. You do this by opening the app every time after you have to take a call or answer a text that is less than 3 min. If you forget it hits you with a phone manipulation. On a busy day it gets to be a pain, and when there is low cell service it makes it painful as the app stalls or can freeze up. Should be easier.

They are likely the most useless customer support I have requested help from!!! First, I asked for help about an app issue... answer was to reinstall the app... when that didn't work,they said log out and log in.... then that didn't work they said reinstall... 🙄 😒 😐 so this went on going around in circles. Then I had a second issue with the coaching session not working.... you can guess what their support said... Then I had a third issue with my profile, and again, they said yes, same again..

One of the poorest implemented and least informative apps on the planet! You can score 5 stars and your score may still drop. Why, who knows, the app doesn't tell you. Secret; do 2mph under the speed limit and join the 800 club. Be aware, fellow drivers will often engage you public relations (the bird). Then there are the videos, repetitive is the best explanation. Mute the audio, pretend your afraid of everything, pass the quiz! Despite it's MANY shortcomings, it will improve your driving.

This app is a cookie cutter approach and is not for all occupations. If your driving from home to an office then the app is tolerable. Running a customerr route and your car is your office, then this app will add time to your commute, it will take away any time sensitive communication that's needed for you or your customer. It's inaccurate in it's events. You can dispute an event ( phone manipulation) but it doesn't reflect in your score. Dont recommend app

Inaccurate "simulations" to test one's skills as if a 3 x 5 inch screen is the same as actual vehicle view for detecting potential hazards. It may allow you dispute speeding if if going 10mph or more over the speed limit, but one has no option to dispute speeds within 1 to 10 mph over. Giving one a "good" score (not "Great") without speed data or any reasons why "Excellent" was not achieved is not training or even helpful. Everyone is GUILTY TIL PROVEN INNOCENT.

This app is a joke. Scores go up and down, usually down but unless you use your phone, hard break or speed, this app never tells you what you did wrong to help you improve. You must get a Great to increase your score and a Good with no logged items will often decrease your score. How do you improve if you do not know what you need to improve on? It is also a huge drain on my battery. Before app I could go all day and still have 30 - 40 % left. Now it's at 30% or less by 11am.

This app is terrible. I'm constantly getting dinged for things that I never did. Such as making a phone call during a drive, speeding when I'm not, braking too hard when I brake the same I always do. The system is highly inaccurate and recorded data should not be trusted by drivers or their employers! (Update: My above review still stands just about a year later. Regardless of whatever bot replied to my comment says, this app is complete garbage. I still have constant issues with the app.)

If you like ubiquitous surveillance, and having a tattle tale in your back pocket, then this obnoxious app is for you! They should partner with the police, call it rat, and send out tickets via an AI agent. It always prompts me to stop driving before interacting with my phone, but the clincher is that this happens while in line at a cafe or walking around. It gives no feedback as towards improvements and always gives me a good score even though I do not drive well. My phone keeps dying too.
