Update 5/21/2024 - After months of the app not working and another app not working, but sending me a pop-up message about my phone's Automatic Time & Date setting being turned off & forced me to turn that on, which I had turned off for work related reasons. I decided to try the meijer app with it turned on & it works. They need to have a pop-up about that issue, or better yet just eliminate that requirement altogether, there are penty of apps that don't force you to enable that setting.

this app is terrible. every once in a while I will look on the app to see if they have something specific at a different location than my normal one. today I drove 20 minutes to a different location because they said they had a Lego set at that location. I get there and see that they don't have it which is very stupid and also unreliable. this has happened multiple times.

I've had so many issues with the app actually working. Some days it let's me shop, but it seems like more days there are errors for everything I click. Can't login..sorry there was an error. Can add food to basket...another error. I add the food, but it doesn't actually go into the cart. I have to disconnect from my home wifi to get the app to work. It's just all very annoying

It used to be a great app! I see there was an update on 4/24. Well, it introduced a new bug! Opening orders and receipts and clicking on Store now crashes the app and displays a message telling you to clear cache because the app has a bug. Clearing cache didn't fix it. So much for the convenience of digital receipts! Please get this fixed. I'll change my review when you do.

I have to say I had a horrible experience with shop and scan today. My $184 order, when I went to check out, was down to like $90. The lady scanning the five items didn't see issues, but I had to get someone to come over and cancel the order and then take everything out of the bags and go through regular checkout. Glad I wasn't accused of stealing! Plus I couldn't use the +1 quantity feature, had to scan every duplicate. Not sure I'll use this app or shop at Meijer anymore after that experience.

OK, updating review again. It was working ok util I downloaded the latest update. It's goofed up again. I use shop and scan and it was terrible trying to scan a barcode today. It seemed to never take, then all of a sudden you'd have 6 in your cart. But then they wouldn't delete so I'd have to cancel the whole cart and rescan everything! I had to do this at least 3 times! No error message. It just didn't seem to grab right away like usual. Then you've got 6 and can't change to 1, and can't delete

Shop and scan crashes every time you scan more than 2 items. No point in offering it if it never works. Reinstalled multiple times, used different phones and fresh signed in multiple times and does the same thing. FIX IT PLEASE!!! UPDATE: 3/30/2024 The app has finally started working well again for the past few months. Glad they listened to everyone and found a resolution.

I like being able to order my groceries online and check what isle things are in. It's very convenient. But this app has so many bugs. Sometimes it is impossible to do my shopping. Just today as I'm trying to get my groceries ordered, I have had the app close on me 4 times and it has also periodically sent me back to the opening screen when I'm searching for items. It's very frustrating, especially when you're in a hurry.

0/10 Constant bugs, preferences do NOTHING, crashing all the time. What's the point of having a "Not Interested" list for coupons when they bombard you with the exact same products every time? The amount of bugs this gets that prevents it from even opening is astounding, I have experienced it several times and always pops up randomly and there's nothing you can do to fix it.

This app barely works. It crashes frequently and just closes. For 3 weeks in a row, I can't see substitutions on my grocery pickup. It says I have substitutions and when I arrive, there are substitutions, but they aren't visible in the app, which says the number is 0. I thought searches were broken but they work; you just have to scroll past a huge ad that rarely loads just to see your first result. I reinstalled the app with no improvement.

This app used to be flawless. Idk what happened, but for the last few months it has been infuriating. You make a big grocery list to pick up, go to checkout, and it says "Order can't be placed". I've tried restarting my phone, reopening the app, nothing works. The pickup system is awesome, I would like to be able to use it please! Someone look into why it keeps failing!

I used shop and scan weekly until they decided to launch a new version. The recent changes are very buggy. Update 9/2/23 The shop and scan is still garbage, crashes constantly. Update 6/10/24 Tried shop and scan again, thinking that after all this time it has to be working better. The very first thing I tried to scan broke the layout and I couldn't even see what I had just scanned. Remarkable.

STILL NOT FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!!! This app is a total pain to use. It used to make doing shop and scan a breeze. Now you can't continously scan, you can't switch from one function to other without having to re-enter the shop and scan mode!!!! You keep saying you will fix it. Have one of the developers go to a store and try to use it, then they will see it is garbage!!!!!

Cluttered UI makes the Meijer app difficult to navigate, but the most obnoxious issue is that coupons VERY frequently aren't applied to the order after being clipped. I've tried clipping the coupon first, then adding the item. Adding the item, then clipping the coupon. Clip coupon, only select the varieties shown in the pop-up... Nothing, just not applied no matter what I do. Can't change pickup store. "Failed to connect to server." Just a messy, annoying app.

Not sure what happened but app stops working on my Google Pixel 7a everytime I try to sign in. Had a great experience online grocery shopping for the first time. Bought $300+ in groceries and everything went smooth. But now, app wont work. Tried reinstalling, etc. Only app Ive had an issue with. EDIT: Changed from 2 to 5 stars as I figured out why. I recently turned off Auto Date and Time on my phone for work related reasons and after turning it back on, the app works great.

Unreliable. I've encountered numerous errors when trying to check out having to do with payment and I'm very annoyed. I am physically unable to drive to the grocery store. Disappointing that after this many years I'm still encountering the same problems. I updated hoping that would fix it and I got to the very end when it told me there's an error on the app side. Unbelievable. What a huge headache.

Either the app is junk, or the implementation of it by the individual stores is! Looks like both to be honest. Half of the product pictures never do appear. Give us an option to create a customizable "favorites" list so we can shop more efficiently by only looking at the things we want to buy. How about a way to link the bottle returns machines to the app so I don't have to go inside the store to redeem the slips. App really hasn't changed much in the last year. Needs a significant update!
