It's an amazing game with tons of references to past MegaMan X titles. Though I would give it 5 starts, sadly I cannot. Though the gameplay is choppy, it crashes unmercifully. There are times when I can't even play the game at all as it freezes on the loading screen or just freezes while I'm playing. Even during gameplay, it'll lag so bad that icons would disappear! A lot of potential in this title and I've been waiting forever for this game. Start fixing it!

Pretty alright so far. There are a few issues like the limited selection of obtainable S rank characters at launch (currently there are only 3) and occasional crashes and FPS drops, even on the lowest graphics settings, but there aren't any issues that can't be ironed out over time. Yes, there are microtransactions but I haven't found them too intrusive. Yet. If you're a Mega Man fan, then you'll likely enjoy what X DiVE has to offer. I'll update this review when I have more to say.

I have had this game for over a year now and I like it alot, especially the jakob elevators. Unfortunately my game consistently crashes almost every time after doing anything, from playing a stage to opening a menu. I used to think it was that I had too much storage space taken, but I learned that that was not true after seeing that the problem still occurred after clearing a lot. It it weren't for this specific issue I'd give it 5 stars.

This game is great if you love the Megaman X and Zero series. It's awesome to see the 3D models of characters that were only in 2D pixels before. It is a little grindy, but very fun to play after you get used to the touch controls. The biggest downsides are that the game is prone to crashing after long sessions, and occasionally the controls can lead to frustrating mishaps. Problems aside, if you really love Megaman, I still highly recommend it.

I really wanted to like this game because I like Mega Man and his many iterations of games (Battle Network and Star Force being the most fun), but I was let down by the repeated enemies and simple levels. The collecting aspect of the game is focused on way more than the adventure itself, which isn't all bad since you get so many (excluding star force) types of characters to play as. I just wish that the game was more fun... That would have made me stick around longer than lvl 20.

The game has good visuals and the gameplay is acceptable, though it's the extreme diet soda of the megaman genre's gameplay. The stages are short, but all the omages are fine. The music is ok. It's all modernized remixes of the stage themes. I really wish the menu theme wasn't such a ridiculously short loop though. It gets annoying fast. The main problem I have with the game is the absolutely UNBEARABLE writing. Megaman was never known for writing, but this is crazy. Mute them and skip it all.

Overall, I find the game play to be very entertaining, with a wide variety of daily challenges to complete. Levels are pretty short but can be very challenging, making this a good game to play in short bursts of time. The game mostly does a great job of representing the playable characters through their various active and passive skills, giving each character unique gameplay styles. For the small negatives, there is no news of future events, and a few issues with the game crashing in the past.

This game is actually pretty good, the amount of characters you can play as, the weapons you can collect, and the auto-aim really compliment the moble touch screen controls. the only problem with the game is that it becomes really hard to get characters if your not gonna spend a pretty penny or 2. This means that the levels in the campaign themselves will get unbearably challenging. I get it's a gatcha game but it becomes really difficult for a f2p player to have fun really quickly. 3 stars.

I REALLY want to like this, but theres just so many small issues that it really makes it hard. I have no issues with it being a GATCHA game or the slow power creep, sadly such elements are par for the course and needed to trick children as per their business model. I do have issues with how slow and clunky the game feels. How terrible the level design is. How button presses are hit or miss, and how often it crashes. It's young so I hope the game can get better, because I really want to love it.

I REALLY want to give this all 5 stars but I cannot do that. Everything needed for an awesome Mega Man game is here and the fan service is amazing. Except for one massive issue. THE INFINITE LOADING SCREEN! Immediately after the tutorial I got into a loading screen. And never left it. It took TEN MINUTES to go from 0% to 100% and NEVER LOADED. I soft locked for over THIRTY MINUTES and reloaded over and over and never got past that loading screen. Until you fix this, I cannot change the rating.

This game is pretty cool. It offers a way to replay the classic megaman x games. The controls are simple and tries to keep the core gameplay of Megaman X. You can choose different characters to play, and they all have their own special abilities. Naturally, you have to spend the ingame currency (with some paid purchases) to unlock the characters and weapons at random. This game actually makes a lot of give away, so it balances out the paid services. So far, I really enjoy the game.

They took the perfection that is the intro stage of the first Megaman X game, which worked perfectly well to explain the game mechanics without the need for dialogue prompts to take you out of the experience, and they gave it dialogue prompts that take you out of the experience despite the fact that any and all new mechanics are completely self explanatory. If the rest of the game is like this, it's a hard pass for me, which is a shame. Megaman X holds a special place for me, but not like this.

When I saw MegaMan X in the title it got me excited...Buuuuut when I jumped in it felt lacking in the graphics department. The retro versions graphics seemed more appealing to me. The gameplay is ok. It's a bit different to play with finger sliding action. It will take some time to get the hang of. Busters have ammo and need reloading. Charged shot is a skill type button :/ feel it kinda kills it a bit. Buster also auto locks on enemies. Enemies are limited in number on stages.

Game? More like a slide show. I can't go for more than 2-5 minutes in stage without the framerate tanking. It's also obnoxiously imprecise to play if you don't have some kind of controller. You get walled by events and pvp if your characters and weapons aren't grinded to perfection. Oh, and it crashes 7/10 times I play it. I just log in, push the daily buttons, skip the required stages and barely even play the actual game a anymore. Good art direction and music can't save it.

The game is alright. It makes sense that they went the route they did for the style of gameplay. the only issue I'm having right now is, on my Galaxy Tab S7+, my Xbox one controller is connected and works with other games, however on Dive only the buttons work. The D-pad and joysticks do nothing. I think the game needs updated for full controller support. If that gets done, for sure 5 star game from me.

I HATE RiCO, too much hand holding in the tutorial. Great gameplay, great graphics, great controls and even some great characters. The controls flow extramly well when doing joint actions such as jump-shots and jump-dashes. The story it's that bad either. But for me, and a lot of people that play games, the tutorial level can be enough to make or break it. The tutorial is so intrusive and inconsistent in how it gives you instructions that it completely catches you off guard sometimes, lost 30%HP

I've had to uninstall and reinstall the game several times to even get it to play. Otherwise if I play it and come back later I get a message about an abnormal connection and never leave the title screen. I really like this concept and wish to play it more, but if I have to keep doing this process there will be a time where I'll uninstall and not reinstall it at all.

Actually really fun. It plays mostly just like a classic Mega Man X game. Good sidescrolling, shooting platforming action. Not ideal for phone controls, but pretty good for what it is. The big issue is that the game gets stale VERY fast. There progression becomes glacially slow pretty quick and the game becomes nothing but a very very slow grind. Also, PVP is very unbalanced, clearly favoring those who pay to win, but that's nothing new for mobile games.

Overall it's really fun but the fremium system is very annoying, they need to either award more gems for achievements or just do away with the system all together. Also, the translation of the dialog can be pretty rough at times making it hard to understand what's supposed to be happening. That said, graphically gorgeous and a wonderful love letter to the franchise including .EXE, Legends, Rockman, and X, which is dope.

It's a nice love letter to the Blue Bomber's franchise. Runs great on my Galaxy A71, the graphics are beautiful, and it has controller support, as any sidescroller should. However, the drop rate of S rank characters & weapons has lowered over time, and a recent update changed the required wins to complete pvp dailys from 1 to 3, which is frustrating when even the PRACTICE mode is swamped with metagaming try-hards. Also, Challenge Mode does WAY too much damage now, compared to before the update.
