This app really went downhill hard. I was with Meetme since back when they were Myyearbook. I dealt with the changes over the years, but now they've driven it into the ground. They removed one of the best features; social discussions are gone, it's littered with bots and it's just not very fun to use at all anymore. Even worse; the app itself barely works, I had to jump through hoops just to get my pictures uploaded and visible. Not worth the time or effort now.

I miss when this was myyearbook. Meetme is a complete privacy and security concern. I had 3 back-to-back issues getting locked out of my account despite not having any reason to be locked out (except for maybe mass blocking creeps), and was never offered any sort of explanation. But the real kicker and biggest red flag: the site/app has NO option to change your password, the "Help" page is insecure in Firefox, and clicking "forgot password" to change your password results in an error message.

No more photos will load to my wall. Every time I add the last two profile tags they immediately disappear. You have to reverify the same photo when you swap pictures. It an decent app. No ads which is awesome. I wish you could choose a theme for your profile to make it more indvidal for you. Runs pretty fast, but if they get those kinks worked outta id give 5 stars. Also a passcode to get in feature would be highly beneficial and a great way to get more people to try it.

I have had my conversation's be deleted several times. I tried to verify myself twice but it never fully accepted it. Plus I've had matches delete. I recently messaged a match but it didn't show up on my end. I also found some messages will pop up on your phone. If you don't respond to the few that show up there. The messages are gone for good. I also noticed that there were a few days of setting up the application like it used to be. I miss when it was My Yearbook. Anyway I'd be wary.

I'm going to be fair & honest with review. There's a lot of stuff (some things more important than others) that need improved or fixed. I been on this app for over 10 years. One of the biggest complaints is bugs in the app. I understand no app is bug free but there's definitely some that need addressed. Sometimes adds for coins/credits don't work when you hit the watch adds button nothing happens. Sometimes chats won't show. Sometimes boxes go black or won't show at all. Just to list a few.

for years, i gave this app 5 stars. but no more. now the darn thing keeps crashing every 30 seconds, and even uninstalling and reinstalling only fixes the problem for half a day at best. plus i'm still annoyed that they took away the public posts section, without any explanation. nonetheless, fix the crashing problem, and i'll put it back up to 4 stars.

I downloaded MeetMe to make some friends, not to date. However, there's no "friends only" option when you're setting up your profile and even though my filters are set to show women only, I still end up with a lot 99% men in my matches and suggested friends. The one upside is that people on the app are pretty chatty, but that's kind of canceled out by the fact that nearly everyone is just looking for a hookup.

Probably one of the most confusing apps I've ever signed up for. interface is comfusing on many levels, the app doesn't let you set preferences on who you want to meet. I set the distance for 15 miles and I was getting messages and matches from people across the country. on top of all of that, the app is loaded with bugs and fake profiles. I deleted my account within the first 5 minutes of using it. Dont waste your time!

Used it for the past seven years as a great way to easily talk to and meet others plus find fun things to do in the area. It came in very handy for finding friends and settling in quickly when I've had to move out of state or was stuck with a busy work or class schedule. The decision to remove the Discuss feed completely negates what made this app so useful and appealing for so long. It was a lifesaver while it lasted but I'm gonna uninstall. Hopefully the decision may get rescinded.

One of the worst apps I've ever used. It was bad before when I used it back in 2019, but it somehow got to the point where it's borderline unusable. The app freezes so consistently, it can literally take 30 seconds or sometimes a little longer to navigate to one profile. And even longer to scroll through people's pictures. Not to mention frequent crashing and a plague of bots and scammers, even with their "verification" method. Absolute disgrace they thought this was even acceptable to release.

First off if you don't have your charger don't use this app. Especially if you're at like 25% it's such a heavy app it'll drain your phone in a few minutes. The advertisement is out of control, it'll freeze the app itself and even your phone. If you're playing music in the background your music will stop playing because the adds have some sort of noice and you can't fix that in settings either. About 80% of the "people" liking your photos are bots. You're not ready for the spam like this one...

I've had meetme account for years. I often take a few weeks or months not logging on. I just went to log in but my account was flagged for verification. I've got no qualms with doing the verification. In fact it's a good idea for weeding out bots. Unfortunately the verification feature doesn't actually work on my phone. The frame comes up (blank). My face shows in the center but pressing the button to snap my picture does absolutely nothing. Guess I'll just move on and try Bumble or something

I like certain aspects of it. Layout is intuitive. Notifications work fine. Waaaaayyy too many bots. I also got logged out of my account, and wouldn't let me back in. I reached out to tech support, and they have not gotten back to me. Even the password reset doesn't work. Worth downloading , but don't get too invested, especially if something isn't working.

The random ads that play out loud in the background are driving me up the wall! You can't find the ad to turn the volume off or anything. I hate it. Also it's too glitchy, sometimes messages won't show up, profiles won't load, and the location is ridiculous. It's been showing me in a completely different city than where I live for months now and won't change back.

This app has gone so down hill, their verification system doesn't stick and asks you to keep re verifying however it doesn't stop the onslaught of spam bots on their sight. Their whole matching system is effed up and un moderated. Honestly, if it keeps going at this rate, it's better off dead than you using it. I made some good friends here once upon a time when they cared, they do not now. They are a streamer platform. I could go on and on, but there is a limited word count, don't download.

I was told to verify my account, which is fine, but when I try to do just that it gives me an error that the email couldn't be sent to verify. I tried to uninstall then reinstall to see if that would help and now I can't get into the app at all. This app desperately needs an undate!! Update: Now I can't even use the app at all, doesn't work enough to even log in. Im done.

I've used this app for a decade. I can truly say I've seen all the changes that has taken place. That being said, I'd like to point out a few flaws I've taken note of. 1. Ads on the live feed are very distasteful and it takes away from the experience. I constantly miss what the person is saying because an ad pops up. 2. I've verified many times and it always asks me to do so. 3. There some people who I constantly block come back multiple times like roaches

Out of all the apps to meet people, this is probably the best one. Yes, it does have it's cons: Fake accounts, scarce amount of people nearby, scam accounts wanting money or for you to click a link. Other than that, messaging people is completely free, a lot of the accounts are real people you just need to know the indicators of fake ones. Not a bad app overall.

This app is absolutely garbage. No matter how many video selfies or emails to their contact, it will not verify account. They won't let me verify and are going to delete my account for it. I have screenshots where my verification was complete. Constantly bombarded by bots trying to solicite money. I've used this app over a year. Don't waste your time. I forgot to mention the constant ads that pop up on your screen. Emailed support 3 times six month 0 replies. Probably for the best they delete it

I download the app and it immediately prompted me to verify, which is great except that it took at least a dozen tries to go through then the app wouldn't let me login. I contacted support and they said the account was permanently deleted for violation of terms. I'm confused because I wasn't ever able to login... Bizarre. Oh well, I'm sure there's a ton more apps out there like this one.
