The recent update changed the layout a bit which was fine but the Obstetrics EDD and gestational age calculator has changed. It is now a very basic calculator that we can find anywhere whereas previously medscape calculator had an option of calculating ultrasound gestational age and EDD. That was a very helpful and easy-to-use feature. Please consider bringing it back otherwise there wouldnt be any difference between any other obs calculator and medscape calculator.

Ads are too much! I can't read a single sentence without an entire ad inserting itself in the middle of the paragraph! It is beyond frustrating as not only it looks awful and it distracts me from the actual content of the text, it moves the text, making content hard to find and to continue. I'm going to have go get an UpToDate or Dynamed subscription because Medscape has just become downright disappointing with that many ads!

I always remembered medscape as a very user-friendly, fast and smooth application, comfortable enough to be used even at work. since a couple of updates ago, it's not working as smoothly as it was, but considerably slower and with lags. I hope you make this go away soon, this is affecting my experience with this fantastic app.

In the next update, please let the saved conditions be sorted according to systems affected, otherwise what's the point of saving them when I have to read through a billion other things I've saved just to reach what I want. It's stressful and not helpful. Nonetheless, it's a good app that also needs duration of treatment on the management of the conditions there.

What's up with this app? It used to be excellent for medical resources and it worked perfectly. Now it doesn't load date fast enough to follow educational content, doesn't allow forwarding function, if one stops halfway and restarts the whole video restarts to the beginning. The app doesn't allow landscape view so educational videos are to different to follow without zoom or landscape function. Please fix it? It will be such a shame to stop using it as the contects are fantastic. Thank you.

I can't access podcasts even though I always download them for offline use. There's always this prompt that says "internet connection required". Although Medscape is such a phenomenal app, but hate it when it does like this. Edit: I've noticed that my saved content from website version doesn't show up on the mobile app, why? And please introduce a download option for CME/CE certificates too.

To be honest, I don't use this app that much, because I just don't tend to use many apps in general. The times I have used this app it has been great! It does give you such a wealth of information with offline access! I have started to use the CME education a little. Some bit of feedback would be to have different sections so that completed activities can be in a separate section. Since I work from the top down, I find it annoying to have to scroll through the same list every time.

I emailed MedScape about MedScape being nonfunctional. I even sent a screenshot. It was about at the bottom of the screen I get a network error has occurred message where I assume the ad should be. This error limits my ability to access most of your app. I still get notifications about news which I can read with an ad at the bottom. I did not get a thank you or a status update on how you are fixing this issue. Update - They finally fixed the problem but still no thank you or acknowledgement.

The ads in this app make it completely useless! They take up the complete screen and I can't view the information. There is no way to close the ad as well. I was using this a lot until these ads appeared. If this is not fixed I will look elsewhere. I understand ads bring in needed revenue, but the execution of the ads is horrible. Fix the ads and it is 5/5, otherwise it's a zero.

Great app for continuing education(CEUs). There is one fix that is needed ASAP for the continuing education section: when a course is completed and evaluation done there is only a link to the activity tracker, but no way to get back to either the main home page or to education section. Please add a button/link to allow seamless transition with this. Also, add an option to change text size within the app for the visually impaired. Thanks! 👍

1 star until new permissions are explained. Update: In addition to adding permissions w/out explanation, they also don't provide a way to disable notifications, which is especially annoying since tapping the notifications doesn't even always work, simply opening the app but not the story from the notification. Update: getting tired of the problems with this app. Reading a story last night, came back this morning only to have it close & story is nowhere to be found. Useless garbage, uninstalling.

Sometimes I need to look up a drug dose in a hurry, it insists on installing/downloading updates first, and I cannot disable it for now. Hospital wifi is slow, so it really is a pain at neck. I am looking for alternative app. Also it does not have drug class look up function anymore, which is a useful function when I need to look up an alternative drug. You just lost a star and I uninstalled it! i tried to minimize notifications and emails from Medscape, but i failed. that's what you get!

This used to be a great app but now every time you open a news alert it gets stuck in an ad that won't load and you can't view the article. Navigation has gotten worse/less reliable and ads are to the point where even reading a brief article can take multiple attempts. Needs significant improvement because right now it's more hassle than it's worth to use.
