Honestly my favorite media storage website and has been for about a decade. While I do like the service, I can't upload any videos without crashing... convenient, easy to download files, a charming layout that has never been confusing... and 50GB free! Just because there's no BS and it's so convenient, I recommend you all use Mediafire to share downloadable files. Unfortunately the app has a problem with uploading videos.

The Ui needs to be updated to match the new mediafire look. I'd also like to be able to see the upload progress when I upload a file via the mobile app. Downloading multiple files at once shouldn't be a premium feature! Download speeds are very slow - even on High speed Internet. Upgrade your infrastructure! I'm using mediafire through my Web browser on mobile as the app has the problems I've specified. It's working fine this way. Stay competitive mediafire :)

I will say that is functional and it works and seems to be pretty reliable so good job development team. You're looking for some storage help it's reliable and free MediaFire give em try. Furthermore at the time of this post, After careful usage and monitoring how the app works and has been developing I'd say stability is the number one feature along with simple and efficient. Reliability! Very dependable. 5 STAR. 👍👍

Solid app, but 10GB aren't generous and the paid plans offer way too few "in between"-option. Mega.nz or Yandex might be worth taking a look what they offer if you plan to change something about your offerings and attract more customers. ;p OneDrive and icloud plans are attractive too but customers: STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING BY microbrainsoft - they're PURE EVIL, want nothing but your data and don't even offer adequate compensation - given this even possible.

I can believe this app had my files from 15 years ago ! I remember using this service back in the days early 2000s . When smartphones didn't exist...! Today I was looking for an app reliable like the old school days. I found this app and I said. Wait a minute,..! I remember this online file sharing services from 20 years ago. I installed this app and tried to login using my credentials from 20 years ago.. And booom..! My so old exe files were still saved on their system for 18 years !

Dogshit app, my files get taken down for copyright violations that don't exist, the file was created by me, 100% of the content in the file was created by me, nothing was copyrighted, yet I still can't share the file because of a "copyright violation", better using Mega or Google Drive or Dropbox. They work way better, had to start using them because mediafire is not a viable option to share or transfer files.

I tried logging in my account that I made using a browser but the problem is whenever I try to login with my Existing account the app gives me an error message with a red banner whatever I do from changing my password to cleaning the app data and cach nothing works, until I have deleted the app and reinstalled it and then it easily logged in.

It's a great file sharing and hosting app, Good for creating backups also but ... You know that the UI (User Interface) and GUI (Graphical User Interface) needs to be updated and a bit more easy to use. The UI looks to old Looks like I'm running it on a very old phone.. I feel more comfortable in using web upload But then using/creating the app makes no sense We also can't pause or cancel upload Many bugs also🐛🐛

Never would have thought that MediaFire is that impressive and simple... 10 GB basic plan, upload and stored just like that, and relatively easy to navigate, configure and get the hang of it. Advertisement wise, only appears when you want to download items but that's fine for me who have been downloading contents with MediaFire links...

They are giving a freak cloud storage of 10 GB that is quite awesome🙃. But the problem comes when we start using that storage as if you want to play any video uploaded on this platform you will need to use one of the video player in your phone after fully completely downloading the video so that is a problem like this have don't have any built in a video player so you need to download the video completely and you can't stream that.

One of the worst experiences have ever had - opening video files takes ages - no status available - PC version allows to download 1 file at the time (unless you go for pro) - it's unclear and user unfriendly. - there is number of free apps with functionality of your pro without reducing security level. What is so special that would make me pay extra? - take your files anywhere you say. I take it indeed. Away.

This app does not upload any kind of files. I used the app on an Android phone model Xiaomi Poco X5 Pro, also I used Firefox web browser and 3 more and none could do it. I granted all permissions on the app too and nothing worked. I could just create folders, move files and folders and download files when using web or app. I uninstalled the app because it's useless for me if I cannot upload files to backup my stuff on my account. Will keep my account to see if this is fixed later...

Thanks that you update, but it only used for one day (that means yesterday). And now I can't open the app again. It says "unable to connect Mediafire". Please fix this again. And also improve the UI in this app like. We can see easily our files that we upload. And also add cancel button in the upload button if we accidentally press that file. Please respond.

It's weird how you show an image as if there's a payment option while there's actually nothing of sort in the app. I appreciate the simplicity of this app, but it just lacks one of the most basic things and that is silly. I looked here bcs the website doesn't provide the payment option I wish. A lot of other services are already doing it with their mobile apps. You are almost like a decade behind.

It is getting better with each update. I have a MediaFire account since maybe 2011-2012 during MediaFire startup. It was an unpleasant experience. So I very seldom use it maybe 2-3 times a year until lately it became slick and the speed is fast with Photo upload. Recommended for new user but I am not sure how much storage you will be given for free basic account. If the rate is better than its competitor I might buy more storage.

I have a professional account and want to have more control than this app allows The app crashes and is very slow to upload. Be nice if it uploaded to multiple folders independently instead of simply camera. I use various social media and would like to back up each to it's own folder automatically. I only use it because it's all there is. Overall it's unreliable and slow and requires a rewrite.

I have purchased MediaFire on my laptop to back up my photos and documents. I expected to have peace of mind having the app on my phone, knowing that my stuff is being backed up to the cloud, just in case anything happens to my phone. However, this app doesn't back up anything anymore, and it crashes every single time I open it. I have a Galaxy S7 phone. I believe that I read somewhere that this app is only supported in newer phones? What's the deal?!

Had paid version 1 year . VERY slow to upload/download. Trying to view a video from the app? Forget that. Buffering forever. Next: BEWARE the desktop version has an easy to find "Trash" but the mobile doesn't. At all. If one doesn't know, potentially things could sit in the trash waiting to be discovered by someone else. Although my original review was 4 stars, none of the improvements I or any reviewers suggested have been made. Thumbnails? Single use download link? Nope. Bye bye.

The upload part of this app is a joke!! It's very slow if it even starts. And if it doesn't there's no way to stop it. To clean the uploads to start over you have to clear the cache or delete all the App data(And Literally Start the App Over)... Which is why I use other cloud storage apps instead. I used to be a huge MediaFire fan but not so much these days. Now if you use a actual PC to do the uploading there are way less issues.

While it's good that there's an app for Mediafire, for on the go access to your files. It's missing key features. You aren't able to sort through your files from type, date or by name. There's no option to sort by ascending order or descending. Your not able to upload a file directly from your smartphone to your account. It just crashes and closes the app. When highlighting a file and selecting it, there is no option to see the files details.
