No ROMs are included with this app and must be supplied by the user. It supports Android's storage access framework for opening files on both internal and external storage (SD cards, USB drives, etc.).

Can't save. I've granted the app storage permission, but it cannot make save files and the app says, "This folder lacks write access". My device has limited internal storage, so saving on the sd card is preferable. This problem occurs in all of the .emu emulators which I have purchased.

Great SMS/Genesis/Sega CD emulator. Works with every game I have tried. Great features and very good customization. Interface can be hard to navigate but not a big issue. The lack of 32x (and CD 32x) support is the biggest gripe.

I love this app! As far as sega emulators go for android this is the best. I've been using emulators for over 15 years and this is one of the most reliable and updated I've seen. It's only missing one thing... 32X support! Please add this! Then 32-bit cartridge and graphically enhanced CD games could be played!!!

Really love the emulators that are made by the developer. They have great quality and play my files without any issues. BUT....when I want to record a video via another app on my phone to record gameplay since I stream often it doesn't let the audio from the emulator be recorded onto the video. It records the video but no audio. That is my o ly gripe.

This is the Genesis emulator you want. Go try "Snes9x EX+" free from the same developer to see if you like how the controls and such operate. They work the same way. This is an especially good emulator for keyboard phones like the Unihertz Titan Pocket, and it can play ROMs from SDcard storage in Android 11.

This emulator works great! However I am having trouble running Sega CD games. They used to work, now every time I try to play a Sega CD it tells me to set the region. I don't know what's up with that. If it helps I have the Sega CD games in their own folder and not zip files.

This app works perfectly however setting up the controller is confusing after playing with it for about a hour I figured it out other than that it's a flawless emulator. I wish Robert would put art scrapers and tiles and game list in to his emulators or allow us to import our own box arts that would make these emulators unbeatable. Overall I live his emulators though they perform top notch.

After playing for a while, closing the app, then coming back, games were showing no video anymore. It's all pitch black with game audio in the background. Edit: The emulator came with the option "External Screen" set to "Emu content, which was working fine, but then stopped for some reason. When I setted to "OS managed", video was rendered again.

Seems great so far, plays Genesis no problem, some CD have issues so far. Can you say why 32x isnt supported and if it will be some day? Thank you

I'm assuming active development is over, considering Sega/Mega CD support is still VERY broken, the litany of requests for 32X support haven't even been acknowledged, and like the other .emu apps, button mappings won't clear at all. I either have to remap, or delete all app data. This gets 1 star rather than 2 or 3, because you're falsely advertising CD support, and charging money. Screw you, for chasing me back to retroarch.

The Longest I've played this but the sound is it still too low.. . They've updated this a few days ago and no sound update. It's the lowest emulator, hell Roberts other emulators are louder...Unless you have this attached to a speaker you can't really hear it on a phone.

App works great. There's a few Sega CD games that don't play, but other than that, no complaints. "Switch" ready with my Odin and dock, so that's nice. Plus, the original frame rate option kills any potential input lag you may experience on specific Android devices.

13 years in, and Popful Mail STILL doesn't work. It just freezes on the Sega logo. From reading some forums it's because this emulator uses an ancient version of Genesis Plus as the backend. Guess this is as good as Sega CD support will ever be on this app. Good thing I have the completely free Retroarch for games that won't run.

Fantastic emulator. Only thing that would make it better would be support for 32X roms. But apart from that this is as close to a perfect emulator as you're going to get.

Used to work great and was my favorite emulator. Lately it doesn't want to load anything. I've tried everything, multiple bios, different versions of roms, etc. Always just a black screen on anything that's CD. You can sometimes get farther unzipping everything but it still freezes a most of the time on otherwise working games. Galaxy Note 10+ running Android 11

Automatic input ports now make a few games very annoying to play. Snatcher, a Sega CD game, uses the Justifier. But you need a gamepad on controller 1 for the start button to select in menus. Setting it up is incredibly tedious, and without save states, it's impossible to play due to controls. It didn't used to be like this.

FINALLY!! A MegaDrive emulator that lest me run all my roms in full screen on my TV with a Bluetooth controller. I tried a few others before I found this and they were either full of adds or terrible or both. One would not even let me use full screen mode. This one is PERFECT for my needs. It easily gets 5 stars and well worth buying.

this is perfect just like his nes and snes emulators. his snes emulator is free, or at least was when i got it, so if it still is i recommend trying it and if you love it, you'll love them all. i've tried some other ones that were ok, but this one has em beat for be because of how responsive my ps4 controller is when connected. in other emulatotors it works well enough for most games but button input is sometimes laggy or doesn't read a button press at all sometimes.
