Photo taking software is a TOTAL FAIL. I am required to use this app in my job. Not only can it not capture a photo of my bills, it cannot even properly transfer a good image from my phone's gallery without random cropping making it useless. Why was this app launched before getting it right? Drivers do not have time to waste like this.

Every update seems to leave this app more picky, more automatic, and decidedly less usable. I've had to give up on taking pictures within McLeod, but now it refuses to use images taken outside it, citing poor quality. Ironically, the pictures McLeod takes are worse. [edit 4/29/21] Shame I can't go below 1 star. Latest update has broken it completely. Now it gives me a 403 error and can't connect to company server.

Yall have recently changed the app permission requirements on the location to tracking even when the app is not in use and you can't open read your load info without it being on. That's completely unacceptable. My fix for this is only turning it on when I need to see my information. My privacy does not to need to be sacrificed for load tracking purposes. I suggest anyone that when not using the app to turn off its location function completely.

This is the worst app I have used yet for scanning paperwork and receiving loads. Not only is there no adjustment to make the print darker so that it can scan lighter printed paperwork , about every week I have to uninstall and reinstall the app because it refuses to work properly. I do not recommend this app to anyone. Samsung S21 Ultra

The app won't work and my carrier requires us to use this app. It constantly glitches and screen keeps flashing between the same 2 pages. It never lets me do any option because it won't stop flashing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times aswell as clearing the cache. Stuck like Chuck with no luck!! And I reached out a week ago to the link you sent with no response.

Can't hate it enough. Pure garbage. I try to send my PODs via Adobe Scan, and my company refuses to allow me to use a superior product. The scanner is low resolution garbage and only in black and white. It takes forever to scan a document and does a terrible job on top of that. It doesn't do anything a text message from dispatch won't do better. In fact, I ask them to only send load info via text because this app sucks so bad.

App seems to work fine except notifications don't work on android. Ive tried on 2 different phones. When i sign in i will get updates for a few days at best then they stop working until i log out an back in. I have to physically look at the app like 30 times per day just to make sure i haven't gotten any dispaches or other messages.

This app is trash and barely works when it wants to. Won't accept BoL uploads if you take the picture before hand and edit it to look right (claims licenses are invalid) and won't take a decent picture on the first attempt if you use the auto detect feature (or won't take one at all). Why is it that all these trucking apps work like they were programmed by a potato? One time I had to take the same picture 16 times to get it to be able to be read. Now it won't let me upload anything.

Absolutely the worst when trying to scan documents. Grab a cup of coffee and a pack of cigarettes because you're going to spend tons of time trying to get it to take the damn photo. See developer comment for confirmation they are requiring the most current android os because they can't figure out backward compatibility. As already stated, the worst.

I would give this app a higher review if it enabled you to have multiple document types sent only 1 time. The way it is set up now you have to send each document type separately. Totally time consuming and inefficient. UPDATE: McCloud updated their app so you can now scan multiple document types and send all at once- much more convenient.

App won't open. Stuck in a boot loop or something. It flashes back and forth from some permission request or notification and the main page. I can't read what the notification is because it flashes too fast. Update. I gave it all permissions. it still flashes saying "access with pin" but doesn't let me do anything.

during the week this app works pretty good but on the weekends they must be updating it or doing something to it doesn't work all that well.

Absolutely not user friendly app. I'm truck driver. My company use this app so I should too. Very inconvenient app. This is some problem it has: 1. Login. Crashes all the time. 2. Messenger is Extremely inconvenient. Why user can not copy/past information from one message to other. We use lots of numbers and addresses and I need to type it all the time when I respond to dispatch. Also you can not send message to specific user.

Unreliable. Image scan is horrible, and glitches whenever there is a blank space on the page being scanned. Import documents is slow and clunky. It's 2025, not 1985. Get with the times. You should be able to import more than one image at a time.

This app is the biggest piece of garbage and the developer needs strung up. It always sends a minimum of two messages(same one). The pictures are low quality and you can never be sure of the direction it will be in. I just had all my hard work taking pictures of trup sheets, bol's, etc completely disappear. If my company didn't insist I use it, I'd Transflo everything in. Overall JUNK!!!

The app is not letting me choose from dropdown menu for the document type. I reached out for help and my request was denied. I have tried reinstalling but nothing works. It needs to show the documents sent abd the confirmation codes. I do not have time to wait the long sending times. Overall its more useful than other doc apps I have used.

Good luck sending a bol with less than perfect connection. App does not cache images even temporarily until uploaded, so you may end up re-taking photos of your bol many times. Also, good luck getting a quality image, it usually takes a few tries. On a plus note you can just save and crop an image on your phone and get a good laugh at the poor quality warning the app posts when you upload it, knowing it is much higher quality than using the app directly.

Drains battery and background data, even after I went into settings & force-stopped it, AND after putting it in deep sleep. About .5Gb background data PER DAY. That's ridiculous. It's 3 times more wasteful than my next 4 apps COMBINED. What could you POSSIBLY be doing with that much data?? (Also: it requires ALL permissions. Again, that's ridiculous).

I haven't spent this much time waiting for things to load since the '90s. Crashes a lot, very unstable. Constantly refreshes message screen everytime you go to it instead of in the background. Has to retrieve macro forms EVERY time you start a new one instead of saving them natively. Basically, it takes 2-3 times or more longer to do things then it should take, when it works.

They had a fine document scanner but then they decided to change it. (Hint: Don't fix what ain't broke.) The new scanner is supposed to autodetect the document. It detects everything around the document and gives the document a funhouse mirror effect. That is if it bothers to take the photo. About 60% of the time it says Poor Light. If it was in a professional photo studio with four lights shining on the page it would still say Poor Light.
