It's different then the original "Best Fiends". The Wheel is not here so no extra prizes or energy for watching videos..instead there are more pay for this or that. The feel of having control over when to evolve which Fiend is gone and selecting who you want to use. I tried this game because I was a big fan of Original game, but I'm going to stick with just the original thanks. I like the graphics on this one and ease of play. Don't like the prompts for money.

I didn't give it 5 stars because it's in the "not really free" category of games. It says it's free but you get stuck and can't pass a level without power-ups which you have to buy after you use the ones they give you at the beginning of the game... this is very frustrating. But the game itself is super cute and fun until you get to the harder puzzles past level 100.

I am at the end of the game in the original best fiends. This game plays similar, but is infested with pay-to-win nonsense. When you run out of moves the default option is to pay 95 coins for extra moves, which will run you out of coins in about three levels, but they will sell you more! And the levels are hard, so you'll need those extra moves to progress. I'm very disappointed and uninstalling.

This game is easier than the original Best Fiends making it more kid friendly. After level 34 you do need to start making decisions about whether you can use a booster or bomb and use a little bit of strategy. But the game is very different in the way it's played, how you get new fiends and coins. Coins are used to buy more moves if you've used the allotted number of moves and can win the game with just a few more. All in all, it's a fun game!

I love this game but can't play at the moment bc it won't even load. I've been playing this game for years and it's my go to game. At the present time though it will not load past the opening screen. Every time I open the app it has the loading screen, the bar makes it to 100% then the game crashes and goes straight to my phones home screen or says this app isn't responding and gives me options to close it, wait or report it. I've tried all 3 multiple times with no success. Please fix this!

Awesome & challenging game. But beware, can become addicting, with the leagues. But playing league's is an option, you are not forced to play. Just close by clicking the X in upper right hand corner and off you go on your own. Also, you don't have to watch the ads, only if you want the bonuses. Nobody works for free. Levels do repeat but still fun. Very entertaining! It beats those chinese developer's games for paypal cash. Which is a scam. You win nothing! I'd rather play here and have fun.

I had rated it 5 stars; but over the past couple of days, something strange has occurred. When I finish a level; the app freezes on the last play of the level. I have to close out the game and restart. It has saved my data; but the play is no longer seamless. My phone is a Samsung galaxy S8+; android ver. 9. I uninstalled and reinstalled but the issue persists. If this issue is resolved, I will gladly re-rate if 5 stars. I really enjoy this game!

They took everything that made the original unique out and the changes make it a copy of the other match chain games. They removed a lot of the strategy features, making it more linear and one way to play only. It's still a solid game but got boring quickly without the ability to choose who to upgrade and pick who you want on your team. Also you cannot replay old levels to earn more stars. Bad for completionists, collectors and those with ocd. It also costs money to spin in this one.

I love original Best Fiends, but I might just love this game more! It seems quicker to play, it's easy to play for short time periods, and I love that I don't feel pushed to "have to play" so I can accomplish difficult task lists in order to get the "big prizes" from the special events. There are still tasks, though, but they're a lot more achievable, in my opinion. I've only been playing for about a week, though, so my opinion is subject to change.

Love the game, when it works. It constantly freezes, shows there's no internet connection (but I have no issues anywhere else) It will freeze in the middle of reward videos, causing a loss of reward. I have none of these issues with any of the other games I play; just this one. Clearing the cache and force closing doesn't help. The only way to make the update to the latest vesion of game to work again is to restart my phone. Also STOP CENSORING THE CHAT! The word "cussing" is even censored

So much better than their other game which forces ads on you constantly. In this game friends are chosen automatically. One thing I hate in this game that's really annoying is that they force you to use boosters in the beginning of a round versus making the choice yourself. That's just dumb. Also I can't count the number of times a puzzles restarts in the exact same pattern as before so there's no randomness much of the time. Devs, you've read the review don't ask me to explain.

I agree with some of the other reviews. The regular Best Fiends game is more interesting and can be progressed with less money! Ended up wasting too much time watching ads for extras and was always ONE THING away from a win when i ran outta moves! And it takes way too long to gather all the ingredients to make the food!! Plus, things in this game are expensive!! 100 coins for 5 moves....200-300 coins for 3 boosters??!! That's pricy!! Yikes! 😬 In the end, I'll stick with the regular game only!!

I would give this game 5 stars, but the only issue I have, is that if you only get 1 or 2 stars on a level, the game will not allow you to go back and replay the level to try to get all 3 stars. Otherwise, great graphics and plenty of ways to use ads to get free coins, boosters, power ups, bombs, joining or creating your own team and such. Also this game is a great way to pass time while waiting on my energy to regenerate on Best Fiends.

Mostly gimmicks, little game. I really liked the original, which required more strategy as the levels progressed. You could get invested in the characters and deploy them wisely. But this? Barely any character development. Strategy is replaced by loads of ads & digressions from the game. Worst of all, they are really generous with bombs at the beginning, which sounds great--except all the bombs are on top of each other, in one corner, forced to play at once. This game BOMBED.

Passed through the first 100 or so levels without a challenge so was unsure if the whole game would be too easy!! Reaching higher levels it has become much more challenging making it a great strategy workout 🙂 BUT... you need to fix your videos. I have no problem with other games, including Best Fiends original, but with this game I constantly get a message saying that video could not be displayed. I've even gotten through 90% of a video and then it bounces back to the game and I get the error

Love this game. I'm having a problem with trying to get a free bomb between attempts. I will go and watch the 30 second advertisement and when it comes back to the game, it is locked up tight. I have to escape the app and come back with a fresh reload of the game. Luckily, I don't lose any progress, but I do lose the 30 seconds and related time to reload the program.

I absolutely love Best Fiends. It's one of only two games that have been installed on my phone and never removed. I was super excited for this one but I'm disappointed. The highlights for the original were that even if you failed, you kept what you earned and could power up and try again. Also, you could pick different Fiends to change your strategy. This game, while having amazing graphics, takes away all the strategic parts of the original. Also disappointing is all of the micro transactions.

It's a fun game and I like having individual goals as well as team goals. What needs improvement are once you finish the weekly, the challenge repeats. Also, the assists (rocket, weight, salt, hammer) really should have a "Confirm" feature like the original Best Fiends game so you don't accidentally tap one and use it when you don't mean to. Not happy with that part of the game. Really hope the developers are able to update that feature.

A thousand times better than the other version! You can progress multiple levels in the same time it take for just one in normal best friends. The other game is beyond frustrating & it used to be really really fun, but they did something to it making it extremely hard. I like how the friends are automatically leveled up. FFS get rid of the "life-energy" feature of so many stupid goddamn games! The issue both games suffer is that the same color & pattern appears at the start of rounds

I have enjoyed playing this game. Unfortunately it got to where it would begin it's start-up and then say I needed to download but wouldn't allow me to download anything. I uninstalled it and reinstalled. Everything went smoothly for a few weeks but I hit the same thing again. The only way to proceed is uninstall and reinstall. Puts you back to the beginning again. Frustrating. Only happens when I reach level 300. Update -- it's happened again for the 4th time.
