Early in the game; so far, so good. Been burned by these types of games to often, though, so we'll see if leveling up turns into a big hassle later. UPDATE: Been playing for a while, and still giving it a 4 star rating. Leveling is tough, but not impossible. Update: BEWARE! I have lost all my progress twice when changing phones. Hours and money spent DOWN THE DRAIN! Still a fun game, but grinding back from the beginning each time, along with the loss of so many rare characters, makes it 2 stars.

Would be a really fun game if it weren't for all the ads to buy stuff. Every time I close a window another opens up about ads, or notifications, or news, or other games, or more ads for in app purchases. If game developers would wise up to the fact that if their game is good, people will want to spend money. There is no need to shove in app ads down our throats. It is the same concept as buying a car, if the car is garbage, then it will come with discounts to get you in. Quality sells itself!!!

*Update-I had this game at 5 stars, until the most recent update. It kicked me out and didn't save my progress. I tried logging in with my Google account, but it didn't work. I have been reset to level one after playing this game everyday for 9 years. Oh well, new year = new priorities.* I have been playing this game everyday for years. It is fantastic. You do NOT have to spend real money to be able to compete with other players. The game allows you to level up and gain gold just by playing it.

Character progression is very slow... unless you're willing to spend money. It's a slog to level up enough to win some events I am not giving this developer any more money. I had an issue with a character not deploying powers correctly several months ago and that issue has not been fixed. I emailed about another issue on Dec. 12 and also have not heard back. They are unresponsive and apparently don't care.

I really like marvel puzzle quest, and since I had to restart the game, I've realized that it is significantly easier to get better characters than it was before. It's not too easy, but it's not impossible, which I really enjoyed. I was usually stuck at a certain spot for awhile on my first time trying the game, but it's really not this way anymore. I like the new characters added, and I encourage the game makers to keep up the good work!

It seems the biggest issue is having iso drought, but it's still fun to play. Just choose the characters you like playing as and focus on them. There are always events and it being around for 10 years says alot. I have been playing off and on for over 8 years. You can get a couple of matches in pretty quick when you have some time to kill.

This is going to be the first time I've ever dropped the overall rating of a game due to a singular event...but since they've decided to run it yet again... on top of poor rewards for time spent...this is still the only game I've kept throughout the years while other games have come & gone...still a 5 star game, minus the new management..and minus the direction the game content has taken...still my personal favorite...but if you are looking to start out in the game..ya may wanna continue looking

Like other fighting puzzle quest games, but brings it's own flavor to the cooking pot. Since I'm a comic fan of old, I'm proly a bit biased. Slots for cards are a little hard to come by. It kind of sucks trying to decide to throw an old card you worked hard to level up or take that new 4* card you just found. ...... Be that as it may, it is still a fun little game. Good job guys! Btw.... the ads are negligible. It takes 2 seconds to close and it's not invasive.

More than just matching, there is real strategy involved. Enough challenge to keep me riveted for hours. Continues to improve with every update. Love the new covers. Sweet. Still playing every day after 3 years. I like the new ascension feature. I still think new covers are coming too quickly, but my only real complaint is the number of available slots. Folks lose good covers because they can't get new character slots. That really needs to change.

Very heavy pay-to-win mechanics. "PVP" is against the computer, and you get severely outmatched. Gaining additional slots for a new character is hard to come by. If you choose to pay for upgrades, they are extremely overpriced. Any useful upgrade packs cost from $30-$50. You can play the story mode and replay it. The difficulty will go up, and reward points go down, making it pointless.

I love this game but for those of us who have been here for a bit know that now everytime you hit a button you have to watch out because it's a "special buy"... daily dead pool is great... it's a fun game.. the daily games need more of a kick for the rewards... lots of time playing, but again, it takes awhile to get options to get on top... cut down the 5 matches and make it worth while to keep going... nothing has changed for a bit... vip needs help... thanks

when I first started playing this game, it was fun and I was slowly building out my team. then the ads start to bombarded me. the events become boring and the addition of more characters is fun, but overwhelming and makes my old team nearly useless. I still play once in a blue moon, but as soon as I play a match, I get a reminder of why I stopped when I have to pass thru 10 ads that want me to buy im game stuff...

This game makes me want to scream! It is a fun concept, but screws you every step of the way! I have never seen a game with such blatant cheating from the computer. If it's a challenging match the computer is guaranteed to get more cascades than you can imagine, and destroy you within 2 turns. Need a specific color? That's the one color that doesn't fall. Need to match your own strike tiles? Guaranteed they're in a spot you can't match. INFURIATING!!!!

I've come back after a couple of years, and I feel you guys have done a great job improving several aspects from before. My issue in the past was only due to my weak phone storage, but the algorithm and character depth have improved greatly, at least for the casual once or twice a day player like me. I love my roster after just a couple of months. In a perfect world, you'd have more of the coin options on store purchases. I'm not against purchasing, but I don't use my cards on the phone.

I really enjoy the game! However, Iso is difficult to come by, especially in later levels, it takes far too long to level characters up, especially when they're coming with new ones every other day. It gets to the point where I have to sell three stars once they're champed to iso

A lot's changed since my last review. The ascend feature sucks. I don't know who thought it was a good idea. It's still too grindy. Characters are introduced too often and there's little opportunity to learn them and find good teams. Plus, there needn't be 3- and 5-star counterparts with each release. One at a time is already too many. But I've also had the issue of the board reshuffling when there are valid moves, then it favors the CPU heavily and I lose what should've been an easy match

Fun game and pretty good strategy element with the different characters and abilities. First the bad stuff. Hero points (Roster slot tokens) get increasingly more expensive and hard to come by for free as time goes on. Secondly Iso-8 (Character level up crystals) are also tricker to get get in decent values as some toons get higher in lvls to the point it's a little nuts if you're free to play. The good thing is they do throw comic covers (Character recruitment) at you a lot. Do your research!!!

The game certainly has potential. But its very "pay to win" oriented It's almost impossible to get characters through game play and the fact you have a limit to how many characters you can have and have to buy slots is also stupid. Been playing since 2019 and I've gotten barely anywhere because I can't unlock things naturally instead of having to pay for gold to get actually good characters and level them up

Great game. Would be 5 stars but I took a recent break. When I came back there were tons of new characters. Which is fun up to a limit. Now there's too many for me to catch up. I've been playing for 7 years off and on, spent money. It's like I'm starting over again, too many characters stops you from being able to level up your current characters. Or take advantage of the daily rewards because now you need to recruit and train 3 stars. I was finally able to start focusing on 4 stars and up.

The game and graphic are great. There's a large number of characters to choose from. It would be a great game to kill 5-10 mins with, but the problem is that there is a very limited number of characters you can use. I have about 30 characters unlocked and amost twice that I have the cards for but can't use because slots are too expensive. It's greedy bs and stains what otherwise is a good game.
