Welcome to crash city. It crashes during fights, at the start of fights and even when trying to restart. And everytime it crashes it takes half your health. When it's not crashing it will misread your input so you lose health needlessly. Really the worst overall game I've ever played. Every update gets worse. You would think a company trying to make money would actually fix bugs; not here though.

3 years and I'm still grinding away at CoC. Truth be told, newer devices are recommended for optimal play. Older devices tend to suffer from lag and long load times. The story is ever evolving. There's new Champions added monthly. For a Marvel geek like myself, this is a great time! This game is for someone who's dedicated. Do not expect to blow through content right away. It's an endurance run, not a sprint. So if you're up for a challenge, the Contest is ripe with it!

edit: gane works a lot better now. there's an occasional "no network connection" displayed in game, despite being connected to the network, and last night I cleared a node but was stuck on the "victory" screen. also, loading times keep getting longer. I'm still addicted tho This game is great, when it works..... Current version has a bug where hitting the "fight" tab will stick it on a loading loop. Considering that's one of the main buttons, how this got through but testing is ridiculous....

The game is relatively well done, and as addicting as it can be at times, it's still plagued by terrible matchmaking and progression halting. Doing versus fights will almost always pair you with A.I driven characters consecutively out of your skill level. theres no real sense of progression at all. The "randomizing" of crystal outcomes will pretty much make sure you get duplicates or lower rank characters if given the option. Still a good time waster, it has it's moments.

It's a very fun game. It's like Mortal Kombat but not nearly as brutal and you get to have fun with your favorite Marvel characters, of which they add new all the time. Right now they're adding the Fantastic Four. Some champions aren't as good as others although they should be and some are worth nothing at all which is sad. The crystal system is also tough, I almost never get the things I want so never, ever, ever by the featured crystals unless you're swimming in cash. Have fun!

Game has definitely improved... Very addictive. Two major issues: 1) the constant need for energy to play the game is a serious handicap to really enjoying it. You can only play for a few minutes at a time and then you have to wait for your energy to build back up. You spend more time waiting to play the game than actually playing it. 2) Not being able to progress characters past their current tier (2 star to 3 star, 3 star to 4 star, etc) is just ridiculous. Why is this not a mechanic?

Overall I love this game. Like many say it is quite addictive however there are many times when it will stop during a battle that you are fighting or won and when you get back on you've lost or nights like tonight when you experience an unknown error and are unable to log on. It also takes a large amount of memory to substain it if you have it downloaded on your phone. Otherwise the game is amazing.

Since my last review, Kabam did an excellent job with fixing the bugs. There are still issues with connecting with the server while questing, but they don't happen as often anymore. I would like if they can do improvements on the story telling. I like their drawn comics. Hope they can do something like that for the monthly quest. I'm playing this game more often now because of the improvements when it comes to the controls. Still get hit when blocking, but doesn't happen as often as before.

This game is a lot of fun but can also be really addictive, and extremely frustrating at times. The MOST frustrating part is that it can become more of a chore IF YOU ALLOW IT. I hate the bugs that freeze your screen enough to throw off your rhythm and cause a loss or significant damage (never addressed). There are too many money grab offers for growth juxtaposed to skill. While the characters in game are nostalgic or a great introductory tool it is essential that you MANAGE YOUR TIME WISELY!!!

I really like this game, however, the higher level catylists and gold need to be easier to come by. Also, older characters are really in need of an update. This is happening periodically, but needs to be more often. Nice job on introducing new characters. I would give it 5 stars if they changed these issues and removed the item limits and the alliance crystals one a day limit. Overall, very nice.

Consistently entertaining and high quality. It can be frustrating at times starting out. I haven't spent a ton of time on this and have deleted and redownloaded multiple times over the last few years. I always enjoy it when I have it. I've had no issues getting plenty of great characters, gold, and iso without paying a dime so don't pay much attention to the reviews that say it's a pay to win. Just find your attack/defense strategy and you'll be hitting 20-30+ combos and defeating ops easily.

Downloaded game. Was fun, got to act 3. Redeemed an Amazon Prime update. No major issues. Saved game just to make sure I could keep everything. Nope. Was shot back to level 2, lost all progress and characters, no items, and starting sets only. Quickly deleted as a month of progress lost in an instant by following the account save directions. Never playing again, hope others don't have same horrid experience.

AMAZING game, stupendous graphics, and very well done gameplay, but it's got some things that need work. Energy reception is more given to your opponent than it is you. Another flaw is, when your character, let's say tier 3, is maxed out, that is it. There is no evolution or "star advancement" so to speak. I'm a huge fan of this game and I would love to see progression like that, as to think it would help the game feel better to dive into for new players. Apart from that, I love this game! 😁👍

Still fun but higher level content is pay to advance. And they've been having control and input issues for like, a year which made advancement in the story (which is the main way to level up) an absolute nightmare. Was 5 stars, definitely a 3 these days. Update 2/7/24-in story quests the mechanics don't work as they're supposed to. They work about 25% of the time which gets you killed and costs you money. Only way to advance is revive and heal which you will need to do constantly.

The new content is brutal. Not even "fun tough," which is expected. The AI has been cranked to 11, and the player control input is bugged. Between RAIDS, Winter of Woe, and newer defenders acting like programming cheats, this is fast losing what fun it had left. As of now, I am logging in solely for the calendar rewards. Even that isn't appealing. 8 years in and the magic is gone.

In my opinion the game is not great with the rewards or crystal chances. You can play the very end and be stuck with the same champions in crystals. Also it would be cool to have stage changes send someone through a transition where they get damaged like in other fight games given how the stages look they could possibly do that or they had it where you could have special combos at the end if you hit them a certain amount of time to end up crashing into something. Over all this fighting is good.

Gave up on this game a while back. Too much pay to win. Not enough good things for people who actually try and grind. 5* characters are near impossible to get and some you can only get through special crystals which cost credits. So yeah...took a fun concept and ran it into the ground with pay to win. Good job... Redownloaded after playing on my iPad. still heavy pay to win. need to be able to break up your arena stuff more. (1-3*s in one arena is a lot to keep track of)

Lowered my rating to a 3 star. I've been playing CoC since it started and really do enjoy the game. I'm only dropping my rating of the game due to the massive amount of issues it has and the fact that several complaints have been made about the continuing issues that they refuse to fix. Constantly getting booted out of the game after 3 to 5 minutes of game time is getting old.

I've been playing this for about 6 years. I really enjoy the gameplay and modes of play. The problem I have lately is the bugs and glitches in gameplay that haven't been sorted out yet. Overall though I'd recommend it to anyone. You can advance being free2play on it. If you spend there are good deals often. I have a question? What happened to the Google playpoints rewards. They seem to have disappeared a few days ago and before that the unit offers were gone. I'd like to know if they'll be back

Bloated and made for people who've been playing probably for years. It's terrible if you're just starting with key materials scarce or locked behind grind sessions with ridiculous level jumps at times. The alliance portion seems to be important, but has basically no instruction. It's not clear where the fun is or the point of developing characters beyond grinding through boring story modes.
