A very grindy AD simulator. At first you'll be watching forced ads regularly while trying to collect things. This is annoying but not the end of the world. What is the biggest pitfall of this game is that it locks missions behind combat power. Meaning you'll be waiting days to gather enough gold to upgrade your gear to unlock missions. That's when this game dies cause it simply doesn't have enough mechanics to make it a interesting idle game. Try it but don't expect much.

I enjoy the game and made it to fix satellite says coming soon, I hope more levels come soon. It does have ads but it least it says ad coming soon . Sometimes after watching ad for something it will crash or you watch and it accidentally goes to what ad is and when you hit back then crashes and you done watched the ad but don't receive anything and have to watch ad again.

Too many ads. If your advertisers are more important than the people playing your game, I don't want any part of it. There are plenty of games that can keep the ads under 10 an hour. And your game stops me in the middle of gameplay, ruins my concentration, and shows an ad that I've seen plenty of times for a game I probably already tried. I want to play a game, not sit through ad after ad after ad.

Too Many Ads! When I first started this game, I only had to watch ads to decrease the time or to use a booster. Since the update, you have to take a forced Ad break every 2 or 3 minutes now. This is unacceptable and ruins the fun of the game. I don't want to watch ads by force. If that's what I wanted to do I would watch TV. Will probably uninstall. Too bad because it was pretty fun to kill time.

They won't even let you start other things except what the main quest is. It's so clearly just so you have to wait and are likely to watch more adds. It's a real shame because it's well put together and entertaining for what it is. It also has a 3 second count down before an add pops up where it literally stops you from doing anything, just making the adds longer.

The game and concept are great. There is a lot of ads. Every once in a while, the game would freeze after an ad. I would have to close the app and open it. Whatever dungeon I was in, I would spawn into the dungeon. My main issue is I couldnt use the machines to convert items until the quest calls for it. Since the timers are 45 minutes, plus it annoyed me over a sense of wasted time. The pickax is currently max at level 10. I'm out of quest,and I can only grind for equipment. Took me 4 days.

Ad watching the game. Wouldn't be as bad if you could do more than one task at a time instead of doing them in a specific order where you have to wait upwards of 20 mins for a single task to complete if you don't want to watch an ad. Even shorter wait times wouldn't be as bad. That's not even counting the random ads that stop gameplay every few minutes

Nothing but ads. If you like watching ads to gather resources, and you like taking ad breaks every 10 minutes, then this is the game for you. Ads start the game, ads interrupt the game, and ads are integrated into gameplay. It is cute, though, and there is a lot of potential for a real fun cartoony spaceman experience, but the ads overwhelmed me.

Updated review: The game is a decently good game, but as most other reviews state, we aren't allowed to do more than one task at a time (which, is probably to have you watch more ads 🙄), and each task takes 20+ minutes without ads, then, there are random popup ads on top of those. And there's no more game play after level 9. At first I'd thought it was my phone or something, but reviewer A Edmons II confirmed my theory. I'm deleting the game, unfortunately (taking up unnecessary space).

Fun game, great music, but it's incomplete and there's not much to do but grind for supplies after a certain level. My scanner is on lvl 7, my weapon is lvl 12, my gear is all lvl 15 in excellent or great, I've built the satellites, found both people, and finished building the turrets. Ads haven't been too bad, no ads during expeditions and that's mostly what you're doing after you've cleared the map of anything you can break. Wish there was more to do but it's pretty good for a free game

The game seems to still be a work in progress. Pretty good so far - I'm writing this with lvl 12 tool - seems to be maxed despite higher level tools already require, lvl 18 equipment in blue/purple rarity, and there doesn't seem to be any "story" missions after building the turrets. It's a decent game that gets pretty repetitive/ grindy, but I gave it a bonus star for "skippable" forced ads, and all other ads are purely optional. Probably the least scummy ad-based model in 2024 mobile gaming.

Started off wonderfully. Didn't mind having to watch ads for perks or whatever. But it's a fast uninstall when an ad pops up during gameplay for 0 benefit. Not a strong enough concept to be able to ignore game interrupting ads. Plenty of other games out there that don't do this. 1 Star. We're far enough into mobile gaming that you shouldn't need gameplay interrupting ads. Skip this one and pick a game that respects your time

Ads during game play after you get leveled up to a higher level which means it's an automatic uninstall for me. If not for that I'd keep playing it and rate 3-4 stars. Don't mind ads to skip wait times for upgrading and to get free bonuses to save time but when you throw an ad in every 5-10 minutes just to add an ad I'm done.

The game is ok but once you get a few levels in the game becomes very hard to get the needed game coins to be able to upgrade the character and advance the story without having to pay real cash and the real cash amounts are way too high for what you get. No way in the game to convert other collected resources to game coins. Also it takes 6 plus hours for the game to refresh the expeditions which only place to get game coins. Also many ads lock the game on Android requiring constant reboots.

The game is enjoyable. I've been hooked since I started. Unfortunately, the coins needed to upgrade CP became an issue. I watch ADs which help with income even if I don't purchase packs. More coins, should be available or missions refreshed in a shorter period to be able to upgrade without having to purchase packs. Thank you for the game, but enjoying a game without spending money during my 'me time' is more important.

Estoty, you really need to rebalance the game. The skyrocketing CP requirements for the expeditions are next to impossible to keep up with! The player can't collect enough resources to upgrade equipment without doing dozens and dozens of those optional side quest type expeditions. Until the game has been rebalanced and the CP increases become smaller, Mars Survivor will remain a one-star rated game in my view.

Looks like a fun game but it crashes Everytime I open it. I can't move an inch in game before it crashes and closes out. Instant uninstall. According to other reviews there are random ads which makes games undesirable. Especially with the fact you could make it where those ads give you resources or perks in game. Other apps do that so they can get the ad revenue while also keeping people interested in the game. Or just remove the pop-up ads and give more optional ads that give you stuff.
