Unfortunately, the English language is not fully integrated into the app. Also, it is easy to be trapped into the scams.

bad filtering, you have to wade through everything in regards to Bobs and bits before you come across remotely what you were looking for, ad driven recommendations don't help because the search result is teeming with those irrelevant items

This app ripped me off. I sold my iPhone via Marktplaats, the buyer got the phone but refuse to inform Marktplaats the phone is OK. Marktplaats refuse to help because their stupid chat bot cannot write in English. I and I'm here, in the middle of 2 parties talking my phone and keeping money, and I have no way to get help

recently, I stopped receiving app notifications. it appears that it happened after I removed the app from a deep sleep mode. all notifications are turned on on both my phone and in the app itself. this has caused me delayed responses to potential buyers of my advertisements

Haven't gotten message notification on time even though I have permissions enabled. This made me miss 4 potential sales and was forced to renew the ad.

whenever editing ads, it will automatically enable the bidding, even it is set as no bidding. really annoying edit: after recent updates, no push notifications anymore... really poor quality work

The app worked fine until the last update on Monday. I now cannot select the albums where my items for sale are, it only gives me the option to select photos from 3 random albums in my photo gallery which do not contain the photos of the items. Please fix this!!! edit 29/5: The issue is still not fixed!!!! why even push the new update to production when there's obviously a major issue!!

Ads and 'pay for better visibility' stuff is getting really intrusive now. The ad banners goes too far. Also, if you have 20 ads and you haven't sold them within a month, you'll get 20(!!) emails asking if you already sold them. And ofcourse, when saying you haven't, you'll be asked to pay money for "visibility"... after EVERY item! Not to mention the push notifications that try to let you use the app, which can't be turned off. Edit: And now i need to pay the renew my ads?!? Yeah, not happening

1. Needs functionality where you can see you're already in contact with a seller when you're looking at an ad (go directly to message screen from the ad). 2. Forcing kopersbescherming is horrible. 3. Searches often yield an empty screen. 4. When typing a message and scrolling up slightly, makes the message screen disappear. 5. Many attributes should really be actual numericals instead of ranges (e.g. table length). 6. Too heavy on ads and annoying notifications. Conclusion: poor app.

used to work great now i dont get notifications for messages anymore. Even if i look in the app it doesn't show notifications on the messages, only when I click on my messages do they show up. Heard that other people have this problem too

Push notifications not working (again). last week I contacted support to let them know their push notifications are not working and told me this was a common problem and to wait 2 days as they would push an update. 2 days later push notifications started working again but now 1 week later the push notifications are broken again.

Horrible customer service, you're at the mercy of the seller, if they decide to scam you maarkplats will do 0 to help, they put you through a chatbot loop and try to drop the problem off to the delivery service even if the seller hasn't even sent the product. They are forcing you to use buyer protection so they make more money. Sad, it was a really good app. And now the payment platform are telling me they can't do anything because I didn't pay extra for the payment protection. Thanks a lot.

The app works fine, except for the new message notifications. These don't show up even when they are enabled in the app, and allowed in android. Very annoying to have to monitor that yourself. Useless notifications about my ad trending do work somehow. Weird. Same goes for my wife's phones.

Normally I love Marktplaats because its simple and no fuss. The 40 cent upcharge made people not want to use the payment function with me which was annoying. But now my current annoyance is this stupid AI ad maker. If I already have to type all the information for the ad, how is it any faster? And it doesn't give line spacing to the text. Now I have to click it away every time! Your ad can't even tell the difference between a houseplant and a reptile and you think I want that to write my ads? 😭
