You can't get a refund through the app even 2 hours before the movie starts. I purchased tickets for a movie in the early afternoon. I ended up having an emergency and went to refund but there was no option to. In order to get a refund I had to go to the theater (20 miles away) before the movie started present them with a printed email confirmation and the credit card used. Then they couldn't refund me because I used Google Pay (I gave them the same card tied to it). was $85 I also loose points.

Ordering tickets online was pretty straightforward. I will say that it was weird that it offered seats that didn't exist in the theatre's layout, but thankfully, the snacks ordered reached us. The only complaint I have is the number of notifications after installation. I don't want promotional notifications if I'm not able to opt out of those. I'm having to disable notifications entirely for this app on my phone's settings because there's no in-app setting to do so.

Overall, I think the app works great. My three little quibbles would be: 1) when they have promos on candy and I need to reload the app to see what it was, any basket that I've built for concessions is emptied, 2) Marcus should get rid of the annoying "offers" (read: ads) that you have to click through every time you purchase a ticket, and 3) it's always so confusing figuring out how to navigate to the qr code for my movie which is different than what is needed at concessions - just link it all.

Kept saying internal error. Updated the app, same issue. Finally got in and tried to buy tickets using Google Pay. Received an error message stating Googke Pay could not be used. Had to leave the app to attend to something else. Went back in to the app, and could not pick up where I left off. No tickets in purchase history or upcoming events. Looked at my bank account, and the charge was pending. Checked my bank today, and the charge went through. Still no tickets from MT.

I've used this app a decent amount of times and there was never a problem. This time it changed theaters for some reason and when I showed up to see the movie that I paid 14.75 for, I was at the wrong theater which is no where near the one it changed to. And since it was less than an hour from start time I can't getmy money back. I feel like I've just been stolen from. And the ticket takers don't even really scan or look at the digital ticket either. They sent me through without noticing.

Update 10/29/2024:The app takes too long to open ,and even I have to close and open again for the app to work. I'll give 5 stars, but the app needs some work to save credit cards in the app because i have to enter the card every time i buy a ticket or food. Please make it work to save the card. Now, all my points are gone, and it says (email is required). Please fix.

Attempted to order food through the app to use an advertised discount. App kept closing, said there were bugs and the only response the theater had was, try downloading an update of the app, even though I have the current version. Juat another ploy to get you to use their app to track your data and not really provide the discount, as advertised.

Why can't trailers be viewed in the app? Sure, I can read about the movie but I also want to see the trailer! Shows all titles playing, even 1200 miles away, instead of just ones in my area or at favorite theaters. (I have location turned on) Takes way too many clicks to get to tickets and rewards card. This app is a LOT of work to find movies in your area, and to see the trailers you have to look elsewhere altogether. 0 stars.

Crashes when I try to access my profile, which means I can't add the gift card I had to have emailed to me because I couldn't simply top up the card I already had in the app. Also, stop prompting me to enable notifications every time I log on. I turned them off because your notifications are about you, not about me. If you want to have helpful notifications, pop up my ticket 30 minutes before showtime.

App can't find my profile, even though the old app finds me, so I tried making a new account, but the new one doesn't show my points. We live near the theater (can be there within 5 min.) yet when we went to buy tickets for the show that "started" in 15 min. (although at least the first 15 min. of any movie there is all trailers), the movie was no longer listed in the app, so we couldn't buy tickets for it. Thus they just lost our sale & business to another local theater.

The app added popup ads after buying tickets. I'm using your app to buy your service. The cost of the app should be paid for by what we're paying for tickets, not by ad space to some pretty sketchy looking third party ads. Also, the payment fields must be "named" incorrectly behind the scenes. My Google pay automatically fills out the payment fields on all my apps and browsers. Puts all in info in the right place for every one of those, but not this app. On this app, it fills it out all wrong.

Suddenly, no matter how many times I reset my password, I am no longer able to log into the app. The amount of greed this company has decided to get in to is so aggravating. The ads, having to keep closing windows and say no thanks to spam. And the fact that I can no longer screen shot my qr code and send it to my friends or family that get there early is beyond frustrating.

Not as terrible as I thought it would be. I originally downloaded the app specifically to give it one star for shuttering the old app and because i read about the problems others were having. Like others, it didn't recognize my email, but I signed in via Facebook and was able to easily link my existing account. The seating chart was tiny, but you can pinch-zoom to make it bigger. Watching previews was easier in this app. I dislike only having three favourites. Overall, a 'meh' app.

Wow. What a crapshow! Couldn't log into the old app, so installed this new one. They couldn't find my email address, so now I've lost the Rewards points I used to have. Logged in with Facebook just so I could try to start a Rewards card and not pay a convenience fee, but I couldn't even order tickets through the app. Stuck loading. Hopefully, they get this working.

App works ok. can view and buy tickets fairly easily. I do not like how hard it is to hunt for and find your loyalty number when at the theater. you should be able to toggle it on from anywhere but it is buried in your profile and requires a hunt. Annoying when you are buying popcorn at the theater and just want it there. also, the adds that pop up now and again are annoying as well. I dont want to click through ads, I just want to find some tickets. otherwise it works.

Hard to Pick Seats!!! The seats are so darn tiny that it us very hard to get all of our seats coordinated. The old app let you zoom in so it was easier but this one does not. It is VERY frustrating. Like they seriously need to fix this!! Another annoyong thing is it only lets you use one gift card per purchase. We had two gift cards but it only let me use one and then I had to pay for the rest with my credit card. Whoever designs and maintains the app should try using it like a customer.

Prepare to spend half an hour attempting to order your food, only for it to tell you that most of what you ordered isn't available. And then when you try to change your order, it'll still act like you're trying to order the original unavailable items. So then you have to exit out of the app, try again-- Only for it to say your new items aren't available either. Super frustrating. Deleted immediately.

The new app is to blame for our seeing fewer movies! In the old app, it was very easy to pick a movie to see at my favorite (only) Marcus theater. First, I'd pick the date (Tuesday), then see which movies are playing. THEN, if I wanted to read a description or watch a trailer, I could simply click the movie name. BUT NOW, in this new app, I have to leave and go BACK to the Movies page. It's a PAIN IN THE NECK. The old app was perfect. This one is so inconvenient, it's as if no one gave any thought to how it would be used. We used to go to two or three movies a month. But, since this new app took over, I'll bet we've averaged one or less, in large part because it's not worth the hassle to find a movie we might want to see.

Well I used to love this app. First I keep my bank card locked for security. This charges for the subscription whenever it damn well feels like it. When my subscription is due it takes days before it tries again. no I am not waiting around on you to take your payment. Now I get a "your subscription cancelled after too many attempts". Then I had to uninstall & reinstall to get it to recognize me. When I sign up again and put in the email code it says it's invalid. Screw this back to REGAL I go.

I love the theaters but every time I try to use this app to buy food it's glitchy or confusing I can't order. This past weekend I was trying to put an order in for about 15 minutes before I decided just to not get anything. I know there's a good chance it's an error of some kind on my part but they certainly didn't make anything convenient or simple to use- for me at least. Not the first time and everyone i know personally has the same problems. still love the theaters
