I've been using this app for years and I love it. Here recently it has been crashing a lot. Workouts won't sync and it brings up "unexpected error" or "no internet connection". When I try to go to see my previous workouts it says to sync my first workout like I'm a new user. Really hope they fix this soon, I hate to find a different app as this one has worked so well up until recently.

Recent update has finally resolved the problem I had previously experiences. Changing my rating from 1 to 5 stars. ---------- The distance just randomly resets during a workout. It will also randomly stop tracking your location. The features of the app are nice, but kind of defeats purpose of this app if it doesn't accurately track your location or distance. I've reached out to customer support, received suggestions but no improvement.

I so enjoy being able to look back and see accomplishments and progress. I see definite improvement now with the GPS accuracy with the recent updates. It is much more consistent with my other GPS devices. I do wish the heart rate was considered more in calorie calculations as it seems they are more derived from the exercise chosen and time spent.

Bought and used for 6 months. This app doesn't function correctly. Sometimes it saves my workouts, sometimes it doesnt. There is always something wrong with it. Not very user friendly and waste to much of my time that I can't buy back. You need to figure out a way to automate this somehow. There should not be 3 steps before finally saving results of a workout. Even then it didn't always save. Ridiculous!

I'm disappointed with the recent updates. I've read articles about how you've changed your filters to improve GPS accuracy but my runs show me only moving in straight lines (sometimes over water!) and my runs have dropped in length from 3ish miles each to 1ish miles each. I've used this app since 2013 or so and I've loved it, but I'm considering trying out something else.

Longtime user (2012 or '13), I've seen a lot of versions of this app on different operating systems. Thank you so much for bringing back lock screen controls =^D The stats voice is loud and annoying on default, but you can change this in "settings". Other menus seem to have changed, still getting used to the updates and flipping back from iOS. Super happy I could use this app abroad too, and not lose any stats or account settings ♡

Great program overall. Ended up taking a star away because the latest update changed interface to no longer display hundredths DURING the workout. When I contacted support they pointed out it does show it after. I pointed out that people want more accurate data, not rounding up and down. I did put a support ticket in, as I see others have, and I'm waiting for them to fix this.

Easy to use and has a lot of workouts and food covered. But it needs a more granular subscription model, to purchase upgrades a la carte. edit: I knocked a star off because it USED to have the ability to find nearby routes from other people but that's no longer available on the app. You have to bookmark routes on the website in order to have it show up on your phone.

Tracking is very inaccurate-probaby up to 35 to 40 % inaccurate for track and distance. My track shows as straight lines. I gave it all the location permissions & turned off all power saving on my phone. I have other apps I use for distance backpacking that are way better (free) & keep an accurate track, distance, pace, elevation and much more. I only used this because of a hiking challenge I joined where this app was on the list of apps to use to upload my hikes to the challenge.

App works great for tracking the distance, pace and such. Just wish you could edit and cut out the portion where I forgot to stop it before I drove home. Update: why does it seem like the app is off distance periodically? I walk a very consistent route and where it typically calls out a mile it will occasionally call it out after or before by about 2/10ths.

2nd time I have reinstalled this app. I tried others, ones that had a cadence at no charge. I like this app it always starts at zero and not giving culminative miles. I can sync my music and take off. I am just a routine jogger/walker, bike person who enjoys being able to still move at 71. I definitely for years enjoy the Armour compression hot/cold gear it is the best at least for me. So I'll be staying with this app and its products. For now I am not into purchasing premium levels.

I didn't like it, this after coming from strava, I didn't find any pros more like cone, it's not very volatile across the platforms and gadgets the same way way other app does it. I used the phone and I would like to use the watch instead of using the phone. I get less details and bad visualization on this app than strava. I hope they make it better and easy for users.

I like that this calculates calories burned. That's what I'm trying to track but some apps only tell you how far you've walked or how many steps. App does not track distance while phone is locked anymore. Very frustrating to try to turn screen off to conserve battery during workout.

Has worked great up until the last week. Then, it began to lose mileage for my walks by over 20%. Same walkthat was 5.08 miles is now 4.1 miles. Of course this messes up pace logging and speed as well. Have restarted, checked the settings, and have location at highest setting. Not sure what to do with this now...🙁 Update: today mileage figured correctly, gave out 1/4 mile intervals as requested. Worked great!

I'd be lost without the Under Armour MapMy... apps. I used MapMyRide for years, but decided to switch to MapMyFitness recently. I don't know if the apps are different other than their name and the color of their icons, but both have been the cornerstone of my walking and bicycling workouts. I use the free version, which provides just what I need to track my workouts and progress.

I used the free version for a long time and loved it. Tried to use it Saturday and it said I had to upgrade. So I did the 7 day free trial. Good thing cause I couldn't even figure out how to use it to track my trip. Completely different interface than the free one I was using. Does not even have a "Paddle" option but just about everything else you could think of. Cancelled free trial the same day! Now I have to find another app to track my paddles.

Since the last update, the app will no longer automatically sync with Samsung Health. I have to disconnect and reconnect to Samsung Health in the "Apps & Devices" to get a one time sync. I've uninstalled, cleared data, reinstalled, and given both apps all the permissions, but still have the same problem. It syncs once, and then never again.

In the past I Ioved this app. I was effective and simple to use. Somewhere down the line though Google changed the way permissions worked and now this app only has location permission "when active". Which means in the past when I pressed "start workout", turned the screen off, put my phone in my pocket and went for a run. It would still accurately track. Now though the app still runs, if you turn the screen off and 20 min later on you get a straight line from point A to B. Need all time access.

I use the free version, and it does what I need. Occasionally, there is a glitch, such as not recording the distance. However, that is rare and not inconvenient overall. I enjoy the challenges. The free version used to keep track of mileage on your shoes, but it doesn't anymore. However, the free version can connect to my brand of heartbeat monitor now, so that's an improvement.

At the suggestion of tech support, I switched from map my walk to map my fitness. It worked, until it updated. Now I have the same problem as I was having with map my walk. Really disappointed. And tech support came through. It's working again. I just wish they'd stop breaking the app! I can't imagine it's making the tech support job any easier.
