I love the look and feel of the App. However when I try to connect it gets stuck on the pairing part. I've killed mantis like 20 times, unistalled and reinstalled app. Still doesn't connect. Wireless debugging is on, I'm putting in the correct codes. Even shows connected devices on my phone. But always gets stuck after and Note says: "Kill Mantis in notification bar and reopen and wait for buddy to connect." But it never connects. It's yellow and says auto-connecting.

Great app works like it's supposed to. It is a little buggy sometimes, when doing multiple actions the joystick will get stuck, other than that perfect gamepad keymapper. This works for Genshin Impact for those still looking for a way. The update fixed the joystick issues I was having, as far as I can tell. Great app definitely deserves 5 stars.

I will say it works but you have to use PC method on many phones to get it setup. Update: yeah I have seen all of those solutions & they don't work. I see for some it has. All that means is some get lucky. I can't see buying it when to get it to work I need a PC with your batch scripts on it. I was finally able to get wifi debugging option to work. Had to do it over & over & just started to work. I think the PC script got it started then the option worked.

Just two things I'd like to see fixed in future updates: 1. I use a PS4 controller, but all the inputs are shown as if I'm using an Xbox controller. Maybe allow us to switch between device layouts or customize which button is which? 2. Layers are kind of pointless as is. I'd like to see advanced customization and macro options that let us make our own if/else statements like: if on layer 1 and RB is pressed, then switch to layer 2. It would make menu switching much better.

Unfortunately lack of one handed mode makes games like wild rift unplayable. Is it possible to see support for this? Edit: Thanks for responding. But even with casting support (I’m assuming you’re adding casting support to controllers - not hybrid touch / controller support), unless single handed game pads are supported, there are too many actions in MOBAs that require usage of you hand. Take for example in Wild Rift where you need to hold the attack button down and drag a crosshair to select a target. Controller analog selection wouldn’t work very well for this.

Keeps asking me if I want to go pro. I'd be more willing to do so except: 1. It says $5.00 then the actual charge is $5.99 and 2. (The worst) is that I have to fully re-do the entire process each time to use the app. It doesn't "just work" which should be priority #1. Edit, response to developer response: I don't have any of those types of apps to my knowledge. Also, I tried the wifi one and it didn't work. My desktop is not wifi, only hard wire. And I couldn't delete the old non-wif connection

To those who are trying to play phone games but want to rebind buttons on a switch controller that's being read as an Xbox controller (like is mentioned on an external third party site) this does not function that way or at least not easily. I have no gripe with the app, it just didn't do what I wanted it to do effectively. I'm off to play Stardew on my phone with screwy key bindings, cheers everyone!

Updated to a 4* due to overall improvements. Those random right analog jerking problems still seems to exist, just ever so less. Love the virtual mouse, although it seems to only work when it wants to. Example, on cod mobile, things seem to only be clickable with virtual mouse only while in a game. Does not work in lobby or in some other menus. Fix these problems and it'll easily be a flawless 5* experience. Overall, amazing update. Keep it up!

Been looking for a reliable gamepad mapper. Out of the many i tried: octopus, panda, gamesir(which im using the X2) Mantis is the most reliable. The only reason why its not fully 5 stars is: 1) if i turn off my phone i loss the MantisBuddy program which is needed to run the app. Not entirely a negative, yet for me, it be a hassle to reinstall. 2) I need to load the mantis app then pick the game i want in order to use the custom touch screen mapping. not a complete negative just kinda annoying.

It's alright. I just had my entire setup for Pokemon Unite deleted because it wouldn't connect for some reason so I deleted the profile from the Wireless Debugging settings. It's a pain to setup again. Also the overlay interface is kind of laggy when setting it up. It needs 1. Ability to export setups 2. Ability to move map around in MOBAs (PC android emulators can do it) 3. Overlay Performance optimization. 4. Ability to make micro location adjustments for a key (hold key+dpad maybe?)

Relatively simple to use, effective, ridiculously easy to button map. But one massive and i mean massive flaw. The paywall, and the gross credit system. I get it, you need money to support the app development, but like really? A credit based paywall? With no visible way to get more credits? Thanks mantis but ill keep lookin for a free version.

I installed this because I happen to play with wired controllers. I like wired controllers because of the slight latency you get with Bluetooth or wireless. Before I installed this, Minecraft was unable to recognize LT and RT buttons on my PDP wired XBox controller. After the installation and setup, the game didn't recognize any controls at all. Yes, I did everything correctly via developer options and I won't list them all here because it's time consuming. Edit: ofc I did

It's great if your willing to spend 12 dollars but I wish there were more features. It's very limited. There should be a way to shuffle through weapons in fps games. I would also appreciate a sensitivity acceleration option in settings for jotsticks. Some keybinds also don't offer the ability to hold the buttons. Sometimes the controls randomly stop working in games.

This is one of the best apps for setting up touch inputs to a controller. I just wish it wasn't a pain to keep it usable after a reboot. You may have to clean cache to get it to work. After a wipe of the app, I was able to reinstall and everything came up and worked as it should in overlay. Hope this helps anyone having issues. So frustrating! It worked until I had to reboot my phone because it wouldn't reconnect!

I downloaded the game to be able to remap my controller. I went in and saw you needed credits each time the game opened up. You get 10 free credits then need to pay. Why would you make us use credits to launch a game that there is no server when launching. Get rid of the credit system and give us a paid version of the app. Until then I am going to uninstall and look for a better alternative. If you get rid of credits and give us a pro app we can pay for I will get that instead.

Frequently have issues where the keyboard function won't work at all, it won't switch back from keyboard, or trying to switch to keyboard registers the tap and hold incorrectly, causing other problems. Meanwhile, while using this, I often have a problem where I cannot scroll the screen, making it impossible to access inventory in bags or chest in-game. All that said, this app is a *huuggee* step forward, as it allows using gamepads where I otherwise could not. Work out the bugs, and it'll be A++

Alright. Here is the rub. I bought the $12 package. Figured I had no right to complain if I didn't. And there is plenty to complain about. lol. But I do understand that it's a work in progress. I have run into a very annoying issue fairly often playing genshin. The left analog stick gets stuck stuck at times. I'll try to get you the vid. It may be tough. Because it happens at random. Usually during a battle. When you are pushing alot of buttons at the same time very quickly. S22 ultra

completely useless for me. the app did not do what it seemed to do, and figuring out how the app worked was not straight forward (it was confusing). in addition the control setup and user interface are not user friendly in any way, and the setup is atrocious. however, it does allow you to do the things it claims, by mapping your controller buttons to on screen buttons. this app is useless to use with apps that don't have on screen buttons, for example xbox game pass app.

The app works well (other than the buttons always shifting a tiny bit to the right after I start a game causing me to adjust the buttons) but 2 stars for not being transparent about the forced credit/paid system. I hate being deceived into thinking something is free then forced to pay after awhile. No where does it say "credits" are needed to use the app and the only way to reload "credits" is to get unlimited "credits" with the pro pass.

An absolutely fantastic key mapper that is comidically unprepared for you to pay for premium. If you pay the $12 1 time payment they want you to pay for premium, none of the premium advertisements go away. You just get all the premium stuff and never have to pay credits for it. But all the advertisements for premium and credits are still there. Also, if you wanna play the hottest new games like Wuthering Waves, expect to take a performance hit. This app is a power hog.
