Worst app I have ever used. I didn't realise that I was paying the subscription for 2 years as I haven't been using the app at all. When I tried to cancel the monthly subscription I found it difficult (had been trying through app and web) so I asked for help from the Mgtv service team. However, they were not helping at all and their attitude in the mail was very unprofessional. Don't even bother downloading the app as there was no great content and the company doesn't care about their consumers.

I have been a vip subscriber for over a year on this app. Since changing to a new phone, I have been unable to access my account. I have tried contacting customer support through the app in both Chinese and English for over a month, but I still haven't receive any response. I have provided my phone number and email in all my attempts to reach out to customer support, so it shouldn't be that hard to contact me.

This is not a friendly app for International fans. Despite having different language subtitles, you'll still encounter troubles with it. I'll be canceling my subscription because it's a waste of money. I thought I can watch it offline after downloading it, yes it does, HOWEVER, you still need to go ONLINE just for the subtitles to load LIKE WHAT THE APPLE FUDGE is watching it OFFLINE when you still need to go online just for the subtitles? IQIYI and WETV is better a 100x and a friendly user app.

The translation timing is so bad sometimes, and the app is slow when you were fast forward. It normal to wait a bit but something about it just makes it slower. Again with the subs, they sometimes fail to apply or come on too late when you do try to apply them. Please work on the subbing program 🙂😓

Looks like a great app to use. But unfortunately when I go to try to create account it gives you three options and $1.99 a month $8.99 3 months $24.99 12 months I'll try to use the $1.99 a month so I can test out the app and see if I like it but it won't let you create account so what good does it do to have an app that you can't create account.

No English subtitles, or barely. App is not that user friendly, not that easy to maneuver. But for those who can read Chinese, then this would be great app for them, since the entire app is in chinese and users can even type comments. A lot of the drama & movies have the wrong name in English, so when you try to search up titles in English, nothing comes up. If only this app would put English subs for all their contents. If user isnt Chinese, then this app would be 1 out of 5 stars

Actually this app have a lot of good dramas, and variety shows, but not all of them have english subtitle. For example now, thumbnail for great escape in features corner says that ep 6 has eng sub, but actually if you play it, and click subtitle, it will appear no subtitle. I'm so dissapointed, coz i'm one of your vip subscriber.

As a non-Chinese speaker, I really appreciate the intention of this app. However, please fix the user login system! I tried logging in through both SMS and account and neither worked. I kept getting some sort of code error. Even within the app, there seems to be no password setting to access that would make logging in on a PC simpler. How odd!

I already knew that mango's subtitles aren't the best, but vip content not having subtitles at all? that's a new low, and even for content that does them, subtitle aren't available for offline viewing

I logged in to my MGTV on my smart TV using my Google email, which I use for my MGTV on my phone. I already paid for 1 month on my phone MGTV, but when I played a paid show on my smart TV, it asked me to pay for the VIP again. Please fix. Also, provide English subs for all Back to Field contents.

I have the subtitles issue watching videos of mostly are not in sync with proper timing it's moving slow or sometimes fast with chinese subtitles. Cast information is not available and with vip subscription there is no option of 1080 hd download option. Please do the proper update in this app.

I have subscribed via app, and linked my phone number when I login using the same phone number using tv, I does not allow me to watch the vip content and I noticed that the subscription does not include tv. what the hell is this if it does not include tv very bad platform, unlike iQiyi, which one price will cover all phone, table and tv, and when I wanted to login using my email, what the hell is the message 'Your SES verification code have reached daily limit' I cant even get code from my email

Don't even bother, it's easier to watch their content on YouTube. It is impossible to find any of the older shows. I wanted to watch season two of Sisters Who Make Waves but the search engine is so bad. The app auto translates the titles but most of them get shortened to just one word. So it is impossible to find anything on there. Edit: I've decided to re rate the app as I've finally been able to find the show I wanted. The search function is hard to use but ultimately the app works.

One of the worst streaming apps I've ever used. Casting no longer works even though I have Chromecast. Either the Chromecast option is greyed out, OR if I'm able to select it, it'll just load a blank screen on my TV and freeze. App has high latency. Availability of non-Simplified Captions is hit or miss. Often has problems loading the videos even though my WiFi is just fine and forces me to downgrade to 720p. So much more. Compared to big streaming apps like Netflix, this one sucks.
