It can be a little tedious with the ads, but you get used to it. Not a big inconvenience for a little "free" money every so often. Used to be able to use it. Then an update not only took away the points I'd had but the email verification broke, so I can't even redeem the points I've gotten since. After emailing support for over a week, every response I've gotten is just the automatic general instructions of the steps to verify an email address. Except that's the part of the app that's broken!

Easy way to earn extra cash and the most popular gift cards are always in stock. Been using for almost a year and have enough for over $30 worth. Not bad and very legit. Update: After using this app for years and giving it 5 stars, I now have to lower it to 2. It does pay and fast too but lately every time I unlock the screen after the ad appears and go right to the app it shows points pending but they ALWAYS disappear. This had been happening for awhile and I've lost hundreds of points.

Fantastic little app to make a few bucks! I've had it for 3-4yrs now and it's so easy to switch to a new device and not lose your points. You can get some really decent gift cards that you'll actually use and it's not at all invasive, glitchy, and it doesn't take up a massive amount of storage. I had one very minor issue with my points over a year ago and it was fixed straight away. Just a great way to stash a little $ away without even realizing it's one of "those apps" Great job S'mores Devs!

Used to be a great app that I used to recommend to friends. Unfortunately, now they have switched to video ads, some of which are highly inappropriate and embarrassing to open my phone to. Not only that, but if I am listening to music and turn my phone on, the ads mute my music. And, because of the video ads, it drains my battery much quicker. Will be uninstalling and would no longer recommend.

0 STARS!!!! I had over 1800 points and all of a sudden they were gone. No notice, emails, alerts, notifications, nothing. Just boom, gone. I was saving the points to use for buying birthday presents and was absolutely crushed to find them just *poof* gone. I emailed support multiple times and have gotten 0 response. Not to mention if you turn on the daily points, your phone will just randomly start playing annoying ad videos. If you are wanting an app like this, find a different one.

Please bring back the ability to pause and resume lockscreen ads within the app itself. I can pause the ads from the overlay, but I can't see or select all the time options (pause for 1 hour or 1 day) as it gets covered up on my screen. And there appears to be no way to resume if I change my mind. For example, if I pause for 1 day but decide I can put the ads back after 12 hours, I can't do that. I have to wait the full 24 hours. This wasn't the case previously. Thanks!

This app is great for getting gift cards. However, more and more video ads and demo game ads where you try have been showing up which is causing some annoying problems. When notifications arive and wake the screen, the display doesn't turn off like it's supposed to which can drain the battery when I'm not around my phone. Also, I noticed when listening to Spotify that the music will occasionally stop playing. I'm assuming this is because it's trying to detect audio from the video ads.

Great app! NOTE: I first had an issue where I couldn't keep my phone off while charging, but that can be fixed either by clicking the 3 dots at the top right of the charging screen and pausing the charging screen ads, or going into the ways to earn section on the app and turning off the charge screen.

I like this app, and have gotten a few giftcards from it. However, there seems to be a bug that causes it to randomly play music, even with the screen off and the the app closed. The only way to make it stop is to force stop the app. Sometimeseven that doesn't work. Doesn't help to clear cache/data, reinstall, and/or restart my phone.

I've been using S'more APP for almost close to a decade. I've had a few bumps on the road but Cust. Service always helped the prob. My issue now is I have not received any daily lock screen points since 5/14. And before that I only got 2 in 2 weeks. I can't figure out what the prob is. This APP I can earn anywhere from $10-25+/wk & I would like the issue resolved. I've done all the usual clear cache, uninstall/reinstall and nothing. Plz help fix the prob. I would hate to have to uninstall 4 good

Points expire after 30 days of inactivity, I have to log back in after each update, if the app updates & you don't realize you need to log back in, bye bye points! This is what happened to me. Two stars, since until this incident, I had been merrily using the app. This issue has ruined it for me though. Why can't the app have a notification to warn me about inactivity?! I had a large balance too. :(

I've disabled the lock screen advertisements out of fear of this app causing my phone battery to explode... The new lock screen overheats my phone to dangerous temperatures. When I get a notification my phone, the screen doesn't go off after a seconds like normal, the advertisement lock screen will stay on. It drains my phone battery dead in less than hour if I don't catch it. My phone has died in the middle of the night and I've missed alarms because of this. Please fix this problem.

10/25/22 Whoa! Point values for redemptions recently changed with no heads up, not to mention tons of "bonus ads" popping up navigating to each screen that award no points even though they allegedly are supposed to award a point a piece. Please fix, I've been using this app for years and am extremely disappointed as of late. Update 5/11/24 same issue as the other reviewers. Scrolling ads that keep my phone screen on all the time, draining my battery constantly. Not worth the hassle any longer.

Changed App rating 5 stars to 1. App used to be fine with simple ads, but now the way ads are ran through the screen is just absolutely ridiculous! You need to pause the app or disable it because the app will scroll through articles of ads nonstop infinity over lock screen and it really drains the battery while using up all your data! (38.57 foreground) I tried reporting the ads to make them stop, but I believe it's just the way the interface is made to display the ads! The app is just terrible!

I've been using smore for several years now with little to no issues. Only recently have the ad overlay become intrusive. Severe overheating as well as preventing my phone from sleeping has made me wonder how beneficial this app really is. Your app should NOT be preventing me from putting my phone into sleep and forcing your ads to run constantly. 5 stars to 3. Do better please

I've been using this for years but I feel I should point out some gripes about recent changes. They updated the lock screen to be a scrolling ad and it sure can eat up data. There is also a phone charging screen for a little more earnings but it makes the phone rather hot. A while ago they did lower the point value and like I actually would think over time it would pay more not less. Also has little things you can do but the pay is small, enough if you want a bump to next reward.

Recently they added video ads on the lockscreen. With doing so, I am almost always directed to a website by accidentally clicking the ad, trying to unlock my phone. This is such a nuisance and with I may be deleting the app soon. Too many problems such as this and points sometimes not even being rewarded. //UPDATED 5/16/24 to add: figured I'd try again. Screen is always on. Absolutely awful.

I've had this app for around 5 years now and have almost never had any problems with it until the last 2 months. The new way ads are done on the lockscreen is ridiculous, where it turns my phone on by itself, plays a scrolling ad that keeps it turned on, drains my battery, and badly overheats my phone. Even when I turn off all permissions for the app it still randomly pops up these newspaper ads anyways. I've always loved this app but I'm uninstalling until y'all change the style of ads back.

for a lock screen app, I thought this would be a lot more intrusive, but it skins easily and actually pays out. For an extra swipe, it's an easy extra cash payout. (Yeah, you see ads, but no more so than regular sites. And in some cases, even less.) Edit to add: they added a charging feature where you earn when charging. Nice idea, but I found the charge screen keeps my phone lit at night. Since I use it as my alarm clock too, I can't move it. Had to turn it off.

I had this app for literally years, but recent changes lower the usefulness of the app. The scrolling ads are awful, there's no way to disable them and only show static ads. If you have a motion sensing screen (I wave a hand over mine to wake it), once it wakes the ads will continue to display because they move. The moving ads while charging overheated my phone to the point I had to turn it off and allow it to cool before resuming use. I never turned on that feature a recent update did.
