Great game great app. My favorite riichi mahjong client for new players and experienced players alike. Gives you everything you need for a great experience. Only gripe is that I wish the language options worked across regions. Instead I have a Chinese Account I learned to use to play in China (my home) but I much prefer the English client as it's my native language. It's a bit of a drag having to switch between the two when I'm traveling or internet restrictions change. Want one unified account

Great game! It could do a little better teaching new players - one or two more for the basics, two or three lessons to teach additional advanced ideas. I don't think you can play with a computer or without time constraints - it would help the player get comfortable before they play with real people if it did

I'd give this game 5 stars if it kept my info from one phone to another; I lost a few premium characters and even a limited edition item or two, along with progress and other things. But this game is still fun, I enjoy learning new games and this game explains Mahjong well (this version of it, at least!) I would definitely recommend for a time killer and/or someone looking for an out-of-the-box anime game.

Really fun. The timer is a little fast but I also understand why it is so quick. I do wish the starting player had a few extra seconds to assess their hand since everyone else will have more time. But otherwise very fun game with very nice options for novice players like myself to learn. Really clean gameplay and nice music and visuals.

Unable to login - login required to play - unplayable... It looks wonderful and would love to try again one day if they can fix this critical issue. For context I am traveling abroad in China, using English mode, and none of the 4 authorization modes work. I was able to receive a code twice (timed out both times), but after that it stopped sending emails entirely even on wifi.

This app is top-notch. It's free to play, has a friendly but stylish interface, no difficulty finding a public room for whatever game mode you want to play, private rooms to play with friends, and cool collabs. The developers are continuously adding to the game, putting in fun alternative rules modes and adding new cosmetics. The only issue is trying to unlock characters can be grindy and painful (or expensive), but they have no impact on actually playing the game itself, which is just solid.

Recommended for fans of the game or anyone curious about learning to play. There's an in-game tutorial on the basic rules, and the game interface is brightly colored and easy to read. Custom settings for sound and voices, and past logs of your matches so you can see what other players were doing. I was able to play custom matches with my friends online. The only sour point for me is the inability to directly purchase characters and effects. I don't want to use a gacha system. ^^;

If you're a mahjong newbie, this game is a great way to start playing, it does a good job of explaining the basics and the matchmaking it has is pretty good as well. Playing the game doesn't require any payment or ad-watching, so that's pretty awesome. The game does have cosmetics that cost a fair amount of money but they're completely optional.

I loved it but I had an issue. Maybe it's because I'm an Android user but I couldn't find the disconnect button. You know, the 'I want to quit this match' sorta thing. Also I would never know when the game ended. I tried looking through the tutorial but it was so long that half of it went over my head. I uninstalled it temporarily because if that, but if I gain some info on those buttons are, I'll probably change my review and reinstall. Otherwise, great game and I love the waifus

There's no display scaling for high resolution phones. It's nearly impossible to see discarded tiles. Some of the text was the size of the tip of a toothpick. There are four currencies and no explanation for what each one does. There's no in-game chat you can go to for help, but it doesn't matter because nearly all players are Chinese, so there'd be a language barrier anyway. The art and UI is very clean and warm, but the music is only average. It's a webgame Mahjong with gacha tacked on.

Definitely a fun game, with clear English, great visuals and voices, and an active online playerbase. My only issue with it is that there is no way to unlock any characters beyond the starting two without paying a substantial amount for a gacha that may not even reward you with characters, so you'll get very used to seeing and hearing the same two girls every match.

Good game for learning how to play, but could be improved. The beginning tutorial could have more information, it is especially weird that it only teaches 1 Yaku, and makes you hunt for information about the other ones that are buried in the help menu. So even after the tutorial it takes quite a few games of just watching and doing trial-by-error to figure out how to win. However, after finding the extended information, ive been enjoying the game.

Excellent game! Love the 3 player mode! Special event rules would be more fun if they were long term playing options. Very much miss them when they are over. Summoning duplicate characters to get bonding items is ridiculous and takes the fun away from trying. There's so many characters and summoning tickets so hard to get there is no point in trying. Futile. Pay to attempt. Expect failure. My only real complaint in useability but Tiles are very small and hard to read on android smaller phones.

I'm enjoying the chance ro learn the game. While I do wish there was a more comprehensive tutorial it also seems to have one of the better introductions to the rules than most sites I've come across. Turn timers also seem really fast, especially for newbies like myself. The game runs smoothly though and the interface is clean and efficient. Music is lovely and there are AI opponents so you can practice the basics without bothering other players.

I am comparing this to the PC version and I must say that it is much more visually helpful there than it is on mobile, granted that limitations in mobile are very much set from the get go. It is somewhat difficult to distinguish between the tiles as we go on and I feel there should be five more seconds added to the usual 5+20, basically make it 10+20s.

I've been playing this game on and off for years, but the game has been almost impossible to play on my phone with newer updates. The game takes forever to load. A little lag causes the whole game to freeze, and I constantly have to close out mid-game. I see other players lag or time out way too often. It's a decent mahjong game in english, but don't expect to make much progress in terms of collecting rewards and characters if you're free-to-play.

I've been looking got a good multiplayer mahjong game for my PC that is in English for quite some time. Imagine m not when i found out the one recommended to me also plays as an app. I couldn't be happier with how easy it is to pick up and play in multiple types of devices, and that you can pay multiplayer free. I also love the private match systems to play with friends.

great game to play.. for free. this game is exorbitantly expensive to try to get any of the avatars, items, emotes ect. we spent a fair bit of money each to try out the loot boxes and got all common items and a tablecloth. it seems to be the experience most people have on this game. you'd have to spend $400+ just to get a character with the tokens. big money grab there, so save your money and don't make the mistake with the loot boxes that we did. however the game can still be played entirely.

I've played with other Mahjong apps before, and I would say this is by far the best when it comes to teaching new players about the game. It has options which can be helpful while learning the game that can slowly be turned off as your knowledge of the rules increase. The art style and anime asthetic is great. The bonding system adds something of a goal to the game which is surprisingly interesting. Overall it's a solid game that I recommend for those starting to learn the game.

Really made it easy to learn to play. Only thing that this needs is more frequent events, even if they're recycles. Anyhow I highly recommend you look in the options to show what all the Chinese characters mean. Don't be like me and spend hours memorizing all the characters only to have a buddy point out there's an option to translate them. Hopefully the developers make that a default thing for new players.
