I still love the variety and details on the tiles; the Chines characters and paintings are lovely. Sometimes tiles vary in small details, so they really challenge me to pay close attention to the details. Excellent matching game! My only frustration -- minor and probably not the fault of the game design -- is that when I switched phones for the second time in less than a month (changing from a temporary loan to a permanent new phone), I lost all my game history AGAIN and had to start over. 😭

I really like this Mahjong app. You can change the background of the game and the tiles surface too. That's really cool! I was really excited at first because there was no ads, then after I played through the first 2 groups of like 100 games all of a sudden the ads appeared. They are not horrible though. They are short and simple and you can edit it off then to get back into your gaming mouse after 5 seconds or less of the ad.

It's a great mahjong game, with a wide variety of boards, and several options for background or tiles, as well as options to undo as many moves as you like or completely restart the board. The mini-goals, such as finishing without hints or under a certain time, are a nice touch if just clearing the board isn't enough for you. The only thing I would change is that it can't be played in portrait mode, but the boards can be pretty large, so it's understandable.

Great Time Killer: I like this game for killing time in waiting rooms, or hospital bed for example. I can see why some people see it as repetitive. I have a minor hypoxic brain injury that diminishes new short term memory, this game is not too difficult for me, but challenging enough to be enjoyable. Thank you. And I haven't seen too many ads lately, to annoy me.

Enjoy almost everything about the design and function of the game. Ads don't interfere with game play. But ... I'd like to turn off the timer and remove it from the incentives list. Knowing I have Alzheimer's and will likely never beat my record of 3 minutes and change, I'd prefer not be reminded of goals I'll never achieve. Make it an optional incentive. That's all I'm asking. Thanks.

There's a lot of boards, a variety in tiles in backgrounds, and no lag; pretty basic, which is what I prefer. Too basic in the sense that the boards tend to repeat with different difficulty levels, rather than a larger variety in patterns, which you have to pay for in the booster packs. For a free app, it's not bad if you're a casual player, beginner, or play only every once in a while. Games are quick, easy to play while you're waiting for something.

I have played several boards, and these are fun! The ads are not bad on this game, meaning, not too long, and you can x out of most pretty fast. Other games are long and can't get out of watching them til over, and 30 sec minimum, and some you have to leave game to exit, annoying! I would highly recommend this one! Simple, fun boards, yes ads but not annoying ones, enjoyable, great!!

Fun for hours. I have Google play pass so I have no ads. There's been no bugs and there's thousands of levels so I've been playing this a lot during my daily breaks. Good game, fun puzzles. Lots of customisation options. I would like to see more tile designs with varying icons and colours. Most of the tiles are really hard to see the difference between.

2020 Update: Still loving this! 2017: Super addictive game with so many amazing levels. They definitely get harder as you go up, but worth it. My only complaint is that if you change phones, you have to start over. There's no way to sync your progress onto a new device. 741 levels in and I'm having to start over on my new phone. Not too thrilled about that. You've been warned.

Starts out way to easy! It picks up diffulculty pretty fast. Nice that you aren't required to shuffle when there are no more moves. I'm a player that if you can't clear the layout you failed and you do it over until you do. I'm trying to find a version that has no timer In most of the versions you have to get so many rewards to get a new layout. Give me just the game; the way it came out orginally on computers no cheats (hints), no rewards, except a cool picture when completed & no timers.

A good mix for all levels. It allows you to develop different problem solving skills to solve the different board concepts. Because the game uses different strategies, you don't get locked into only solving the boards one way. And...the ads ONLY pop up between boards, unlike many of the competitors who interrupt the game to shove an ad in your face while trying to solve the board. For free, it's quite a bargin.

So far it's been a good game I haven't had any issues so far, even though I just started it. Took a little bit to figure out how to switch the background and tiles but other than that it's been great. Helps you to focus and concentrate better too. I think it would help kids with adhd,and other issues with concentration, I think the developer should make an app for children that doesn't have a timer and gives a short video or something as a reward for completing a level, I would recommend it

This game has some great features. I like the shuffle option, because, let's face it, sometimes you need it. And the range of options for tilesets and backgrounds is pleasantly surprising. I've had this game installed intermittently for 10 1/2 years, and haven't gotten bored yet. Keep it up, devs. :) Pixel 7

I got this with my play pass subscription and it is amazing. I dunno what it is like on free version but the full version is amazing. I like that there's choices of tikes as I have problems with vision so the colored ones work best for me. The boards are fun and not too easy, nor too hard. I kove daily challanges too. Allin all a nice relaxing game! I'd reccomend supporting them with the full versions!

I love this game! Hate admitting it but I heard of it from watching TV. MAKE AN ACCOUNT AND SAVE YOUR GAME! (See options). Got a new phone and didn't & was on lvl 750! 😭 LOVE how I can customize EVERYTHING! Don't like the traditional Asian tiles? Use playing cards, food, etc there's several choices. Same goes for the background. Ppl like me like dark ones while some ppl want a pic. You can use theirs or your own. I don't care for the music some days so off it goes! It's offline & easy to start!

This was definitely one of the best mahjong solitaire games around, and I've been a casual fan for a long time. I've never minded the discrete ads, but sometime recently that changed to loud disruptive full screen lengthy video takeovers that you can't get rid of and disrespects your sound settings, playing noisy ads at full volume. I wrote to the Dev but he never responded, so I've stopped playing and have deleted the app.

I've been playing this game for years and it's great. The tiles are clear and well designed, the animation is fun and while some of the layouts can be frustrating overall it's a great way to entertain yourself. So why only four stars? Because there's a serious lack. The game never tells you when a layout contains more than one deck. My playing strategy changes completely then, and it's frustrating when I find I've been pursuing the goal incorrectly and have to start over. Fix that please!
