Game used to be great even with the minimal ads. Now, after each level there are two ads that play on top volume. You can't skip the first one, though after some time can skip the second. They sneakily hide the volume button so you're unable to see it over the background too.If they fixed that, the game would be enjoyable again. I find myself no longer wanting to play if I have to sit through a 3 min advert to get to the next level. Had to uninstall it because of this.

This is a good game, but not too addictive. The ads are distracting, flashing while you're playing. The level of the tiles is deceptive. Each tile is shaded so they appear lighter than the tile(s) to their left, esp. top left. Tiles appear to overlap tiles to their left, adding to the perception that the left tile is on a lower level. Defining the line between the top and right side of the tile could help. I turned off highlighting free tiles, a nice option, but now it's too difficult to tell.

I like this version, only mahjong. Clearly shaped tiles and top images. They offer the option of having the free tiles highlighted whenever you want. Different images for top is available at the start, background choices come later. I've just started 8 boards so far and I really like it. Sometimes having other things to do can be fun, like collecting stuff and fixing things, but sometimes you just want the one thing, matching tiles to clear the board.

This game is fun for a bit, but there's only one music track that's only like, 30 seconds long and it plays on loop. On top of that, there are WAY too many ads- one in between each level, and one you have to watch to reshuffle the pieces once you get a stalemate. Some ads straight up crash the game because they don't load properly. All and all, wouldn't recommend.

Game itself is beautiful, and I love the highlighted tiles feature. I would probably spend a couple of bucks on a paid version of this app if it didn't have any ads. However, this version has ads, and you wind up watching the same ads over and over again, because you get forced to watch another ad after every level. I am NEVER going to buy the apps on the ads that interrupt my game. I played 8 levels and uninstalled this in under 30 minutes. It could have been really good, but sucked instead.

I've always been interested in what Mahjong is. At first I thought the game was a breeze. I mean who can't match symbols? But as I progressed I learned it's more challenging than a simple matching game. It is very intricate & beautiful. There is a certain way the pieces have to be matched. I've ended up scratching my head at some puzzles. It is fun & time consuming in a good way. No time limits & no rushing to beat the clock. I love it! I'm hooked!

Love this game. It helps me with my memory, speed, perifial vision, etc. I wish it showed you what level you are on and the name of the each of each level that you're playing (water, fire, air, etc) somewhere on the board. It gives chances to win hints and allows tiles to shuffle if needed so that you can continue playing. It's a great game of Mahjong for beginners of the game. The ads are short and shown only after completing each level and if you need to shuffle tiles. I would recommend!!

It is a simple app with simple features. My only complaint is that there are too many ads and no way to even pay to remove them. I played about 5 rounds without an ad and then I started getting ads after every game for the next 10-15. It got to the point that I was moving through levels faster than the ads were running so I spent more time watching ads than playing. If they reduced the ads or even offered a $.99 ad removal fee - I would rate it higher.

Really easy. Every level takes 3 minutes or less. Great time killer. The amount of ads is extremely distracting, especially if you're doing an average of four or five levels every ten minutes. I've been waiting for the levels to get more challenging, but 316 levels in, it's all the same. I gave it a three because it is really satisfying clearing the levels.

Awesome game, to help you with memory, and quick thinking. Have played it before, with other sites, it would be helpful if they can make music softer and not that loud. Also it be nice to make the letters or marks on dice larger for those elders, or people with poor eyesight. Heads up to the developer, it's great help to boost memory. Love the dice design also.

I really enjoy this version of the game, especially the way they handle ads. There's no "pay to play" micro transaction pressure like in other games... Out of moves? Watch an ad to earn a free shuffle. Very honest and straightforward, and otherwise they only play ads every 5 levels or so. I also like the ability to change the tile design, the traditional tiles are hard for me to tell apart at times, but the farm set uses different bright colors and shapes, which are easier for me.

Contains ads is an understatement. Ads after each game is too much, but then, as Allison kindly pointed out, I'm an "idiot". Also, I finished all the levels with 3 stars to each game and I'm still waiting for "coming soon" after level sand. So, not to take up room on my device, I will uninstall which means I lose all I did. They should have thought of a way to log in so that you don't lose anything if you accidently lose your device or uninstall it temporarily to free up space.

I ended up not finishing the entire game. I had one star missing in tornado level, tried & tried & couldn't get it. So I deleted the game & started over. I'm addicted. It still has an error message. It says "check back later video is uploading". I just don't watch the video & I start from scratch again when I am reaching for that 3rd star. I like the relaxing design & format. It annoys me to wait on a video just to get a shuffle when you trying finish a game.

At first it was a fun app with many levels and variations, and it still is. Originally ads were bearable, they could be skipped/closed or they only last about 5 seconds each. But recently I noticed they have bottom banner ads pop up along the end of the screen during a live game. This is VERY distracting and annoying, it breaks up your concentration and affects your timing. They should disable this, it makes me not want to play this game anymore. I am marking down stars down because of this.

I love this game! All games come with Ads but this one isn't bad. They don't interrupt game play and they are easily and quickly dismissed. Very nice layout, tons of levels and puzzle variations. With so many aweful downloads to sift through you wont go wrong with this one. I'm pretty picky about what I'll allow from an app, reading everything before downloading, especially the permissions (and the necessity of) and and the Data Collection, Usage, etc. This is a GOOD one!

Very fun at the beginning but later on as I played I noticed I was almost always set up to fail and have to watch an ad to reshuffle the tiles. When I started having to watch two ads per game, I started taking screenshots. I went back just to find out that it's set up that way and there was no fair way to complete the levels without reshuffling. Sneaky and kinda of scummy way to make extra profit in the game. The ads after each level were not that bad though and the game is pretty fun otherwise.

The game is too easy. It highlights all available tiles, and does not give you an option to turn off this feature. Sometimes a game stops because there are no more matching tiles. You are not permitted a shuffle unless you agree to watch an ad. This is in addition to ads that appear between games. This is too many ads pushing you to pay. Now, more bad news regarding their ads. I have Sound turned off in Settings, but they let advertisers' sound away. Terrible breach of trust. I exit the app!

Initially 5 stars but having played it for a couple of years, the puzzles become harder but that's ok. What's not ok is opting to see an ad for a reshuffle but the video won't play and I'm constantly restarting hard puzzles and failing. I might eventually solve it but one puzzle I played for two weeks and ended up reinstalling the game so I could start over on easier puzzles. Love the look and game play but the non working video ads have me looking at other mahjong options.

This game, unlike those I've had before, does not interrupt the game for ads. Between each game, there is only 1 ad that can quickly be dismissed if you choose so. Because of this feature and the challenging game puzzles provided, I recommend this Mahjong game for anyone looking to relax and forget about the world around you for an hour. Love this game!

Entertaining game. Love the difficulty progression. Makes a player think and use their brain instead of just going through the motions. The tiles have a tendency to get smaller on my phone as the difficulty increases making for frustration in choosing matching tiles. But the fact of not being able to request to delete data is quite bothersome. I do not enjoy having my info passed around or sold.
