As an artist, this app has been life-changing for making poses. I can easily pose a character how I want, then take a screenshot for tracing. I can't express how helpful this simple app is. My only problem is that for props or extra stuff you have to pay money. Other than that, this is easily a 5☆ app. Edit: This app has gone downhill. I loved it before, but the greedy changes have ruined it. You can only have one character per scene, almost all props have to be paid for. This app isn't worth it

I've been using this app for years and I like that you can put more than two models in one scene and simple to adjust. Now the new update is ridiculous. Once my 30 day trial expires, I can no longer open the scenes containing multiple models?? Are you serious? You expect me to go through the trouble of backing up 186 poses (yes, I counted) that I created myself and made by other people in 30 days? Why?? Please bring back the old version.

Easy to pick up, but there doesnt seem to be an option to lock anything which makes it frustrating to use. Get something perfectly aligned in the hand and need the adjust it and youre moving everything instead of just locking the item (s) to the hand, and moving them as one unit, like with the fingers to the hand. This makes a simple adjustment take much much longer. Needs a way to parent or lock certain aspects like above, or just certain rotations and pieces from being changed at all

Colors are allowed to range outside of typical 0-255 limits. This allows for striking effects and is a positive feature, even if it is a bug. However a negative value, which is useful as it produces an object that absorbs all rendered light, will not save as a number. The setting is saved as "NaN" in the color values you can't reload a saved file with subzero color. If you fix this bug please do so without limiting the functionality it provides. Also, shorter hair is needed for new models.

Overall great, just a lot of polishing needed. Some of my biggest issues are that things like lighting and clothing parameters (specifically that garrish underwear being turned off) wont save after closing a file and reopening it. Also, environments are a cool concept, but sometimes they make it hard to rotate the camera cause you keep selecting them. Maybe have an option to put specific entities in a "do not select" box that can collapse and reopen as to not get in the way. (I can email more)

This app was wonderful in its older versions but now it's almost unusable. I understand the need to add paid options due to the need for money but some of the most basic features are locked behind a pay wall. One extreme example is being able to add multiple models being locked behind the pro and master options. I feel like simple features such as that should be a free option or at the very least have the limit for the free version be 3-5 models max. Even a limit of two would be fine

Magic Poser is the best app for comic artists and illustrators. Comic artists often have to pose characters in many different ways, and this helps a lot! It also helps with perspective and lighting. My only issue is that there is no "hand mode" on Android. This seems to have been a problem for over 2 years! I would really like hand mode on android. Other than that, this app helps me a lot when I draw my comic! Thank you!

I had this app installed years ago to help, you guessed it, pose models so I could figure out the shapes I needed. I have aphantasia. It's been a huge boon for me. Lately, they changed their policy, and I can't have two models anymore without paying for it, despite having had the option to for years. It works fine and great. For single models I don't really need it. It's a great quality poser, but I'm not paying for pro or master for a feature I always had in the first place.

Used to be a really nice and free drawing/posing reference app. Used it frequently and enjoyed it as it was easy to use and understand. After the update, I was excited about seeing the changes! Upon agreeing to check out the terms and new models, it is a shame to see it all is locked behind pro. I hate to go, but this sorta broke the camel's back for me. I miss the old version dearly.

i've had this app for years, and the update isn't great. it's harder to move the models around with the smaller buttons. i don't mind the money thing mainly because the things i use weren't locked, but my problem is with moving the models. i also can't use presets anymore, they just don't show up. not only that, but you can't turn the head anymore, which kinda sucks. you can only go up and down and kind of lean to the right or left? you can't turn it like 3/4, side profile, etc. so that sucks.

Not too bad, but what annoyed me was that while in the middle of creating a pose, I noticed the feet weren't planted directly into the ground! The bottoms of the feet were underneath the gridded ground, so I had to manually move the feet up and then rotate them. I gave up after I finished one foot. Speaking with the rotation feature, the way it rotates when you use the sliding bars is very odd. It slows down and then speeds up and then slows down. It feels like I have as much control over this feature as skating with shoes made of ice. Most of this app does serve its purpose pretty well, but there is probably still much to be done.

The old version was better. This new version is really difficult for me to use and the models are too sensitive to movenent, and the rotation is really thin, so I end up moving the entire model instead. The UI is very confusing, and it took me a while to figure out how to download a model. I have to keep using this though, as it's the only good free posing app that I've found. Update: The tutorial didn't help, thanks <3

This app used to be awesome. You could easily pose multiple references for free. Now they have changed it and made it a paid option. You can only have one character at a time unless you but the pro or master options. Also the layout has changed and movement nodes have been blended into eachother. I don't know why they changed it. Usually when an app upgrades to paid it gives you lots of cool new features. This is not the case here. I'm very disappointed.

You make every single feature cost money, you can barely even open the app without an add in your face begging for cash. We cannot even get diverse body types without someone wanting spare change. It makes the experience so unenjoyable, I remember this being an easy to use app. But now I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who needs to use pose references as art bases. I had a project i was working on for a good amount of time, then one day it told me I could not open it unless i paid.

As a past non-pro needing user, I can easily say that the app has went through the biggest down grade. You used to be able to add more than one model, use female models, have a ton of different options of models, and all for free to! If the app were to become free for everyone, I could easily say I would return, but using the new version, I feel very restricted (because I am). Tldr: don't use if you can't pay

As much as I understand adding a price tag... Just like every other app nowadays... I can't say I find it worth that price for a few big flaws. Settings from before that I remember helping me with my scenes are gone, the character movement is now MUCH too sensitive and really hard to maneuver properly. Not to mention not being able to have at least 2 characters for free stings as many scenes and other pose apps usually allow at least 2. I used to love it but the new version is hard to use.

I prefer the older version of this app, but I still think it's useful. I tried the monthly subscription version, and I was very disappointed. The model I was interested in deforms unnaturally when posed and teeth poke out of the model's cheek. Only a few models can be body morphed, and this option is not available on the ones I like to use. The monthly charge is expensive for what it is. I would have kept it if it was half the current price.

Overall, I really like the app. It lets you edit so much to really get the exact pose you need which has been incredibly useful. But my biggest complaint is that you're able to move the joints etc into completely unnatural, out of socket, broken arm kinds of positions. One of the biggest things I use this for is to get a reference for how things would look naturally in a different position than my reference, and it's really hard to get it accurate when it'll twist around like a pretzel

Downloaded to give it a shot, was excruciatingly disappointed that only a male model is available for free use, after a forced tutorial "short" video set that couldn't just play and had to be individually toggled to move forward. Controls are difficult with thumbs for rotating parts and seeing what you're doing at the same time. Two 'pro' versions - 'pro' and 'master'.

I have used this app for YEARS to assist in difficult poses! It USED to be great, but now you can't even use a female model anymore without paying money??? It'd be one thing if just the stylized models and the ability to adjust the bodies were locked behind a pay wall, but to not even have the option to swap the gender when that used to be included in the fee version? It was usable just earlier this year, what the heck happened? I haven't been this disappointed in an app in YEARS! 🤬
