Its no longer working , payments are not going through , can't also add new cards. Tried to remove the cards and re-add them it shows incomplete while the notification from the bank itself shows its addeda. The cards itself is perfectly working and also working with apple pay , the problem is within the mada pay application itself .

App previously was a must have. Worked very well. Fast, easy and simple. Unfortunately after the last update it went down hill. Multiple crashes. Annoying notifications. And the declined payments are more than the ones that go through. It's quite sad what happened. Such a awful update.

After the last update, I can not use this app for payment anymore. Tried many time to fix the issue by reinstalling the app, delete and readd the cards but no luck. I am currently searching for alternatives.

Previously the app used to work perfectly. Over the last few months it started crashing... then I uninstalled it... and after reinstalling, I am unable to get my card added... It remains in "in progress" mode while adding the card and then gives error... I have to carry my card all the time. Very bad experience with the app now...

The app has a lot of bugs. I faced multiple situations where it's not working, i had to leave the mall, go home, get my wallet and physical card, then go back to the mall to make a payment. Sometimes the card stops working, i had to remove it then re-add it. Sometimes the app doesn't open. Also it's not supported on Samsung galaxy watch, which makes me unable to pay by watch. This review is after almost 2 years of use.

What a loss! This app used to work like a charm... all of the sudden few months ago, I started getting declined transactions from POS, which put me in too many awkward situations, where I had to leave the stuff I bought, go home, and get my physical card and get back to the merchant to process the payment. However, this always happens with the credit card, when I added mada card it worked fine, but I depend 100% on credit cards for all payments for the points. Please fix the application!

The app has a problem, the cards get deleted every time i try to use it, now the app doesn't work and keeps logout every time i enter. I can't believe that the developer has not fix it as it was like this a long time ago. البرنامج الفتره هذي صاير سيء جدا ما اقدر احاسب فيه و كل مره احاسب يجيني رسالة خطأ و يحذف البطاقات كلها

Last updates ( last two month ) is very bad . Now its not working with ocasional working 1st it stoped working to pay at all So i wiped the cards , tried to re add them ..for 10 days i am not able to do so . I called my bank . Every thing is fine . Finally it started to work fine , but it lags , uses random card instead of the default card . Notifications are delayed .

Was working like a charm till a couple of months ago, almost it never works again, even after removing the cards, clearing data and cache, and even removing the app and reinstall it! I hope the owners of the app take this complaint seriously as it seems a general issue (from what I see in the reviews)

I have been using the app for almost 3 years. It worked perfectly. However, during the past few weeks, the app started crashing and not accepting new cards. Even the old one, if you delete them, the app will not accept it again. Mada must give it the right attention.

the app is not allowing to proceed to use it without forcing me into using camera, location, nearby devices and notification access. Therefore the app is unusable if I don't allow any of these. in addition to deleting all my associated cards without requesting them to be deleted. I'll be uninstalling for now as this App is unusable at this point. Edit: remove the forced notifications and forced permissions, absolutely zero need for them !!

The app should throw error that it detects the phone to be rooted instead of silent crash. Same phone, updated to a14 as my friend and I couldn't figure out why this didn't work on my phone but his. Today finally resetted phone SETTINGS to factory reset keeping data. And issue persisted. Then removed two app ( magisk and what's playing) my phone isn't rooted.. But those two apps were the reason Mada pay, stcpay, Al Rajhi all kept crashing while decent old sab app continued to work as.

There is no protection on app. Shall be protected by mobile's pin,pattern, face, and thumb impression like other banks' applications to open the app. This is not a secure application. If mobile lost, how to remove cards remotely from lost mobile. Many times card is added afted 10 tries. But it's a good choice instead of carrying a card physically. Think to link a card with a finger/face and payment by thumb/face impression instead of mobile in future.

The app worked flawlessly until a couple of months ago. After some update, the ratio of payments that go through to those that don't is almost zero. Moreover, the annoying notifications that pop up after each payment are totally meaningless, because they say the payment was successful even if it wasn't. So, notifications are annoying and wrong, and app just is as good as not having it.

I get errors whenever I try to add cards, only one card out of 5 I managed to add. After one year of use, I am starting to think that developers of this trashy app were aiming for it to be this way. I can't even describe how bad this app is. Update: after 2 years of using this app. I reached to a conclusion that it should not exist. I stopped using it long time ago. I lost hope of this app becoming any better. Seriously, it is one of the trashiest app in the store. I hope it cease to exist

Awful experience! Transactions are being declined very frequently. However, the transactions are approved when using the physical card. The app became useless. You need to carry the physical card all times to avoid embarrassment Not to mention the poor customer support that can never be reached 8 April 2024, after more than two months from my earlier complaint. I've figured out a solution. Every time you face this issue, just delete the app and reinstall it again.

Idk what happened to the application. It doesn't add the card. I tried adding my 2nd SNB and STC pay card but I always end up with the Incomplete Card shown on its front page. Although, all the processes were complete with authentic information and complete verifications, yet the card doesn't work. Infact, I always get a text from the app that the Card has been activated at the end of the process.

Digitized mada cards suddenly stopped working. Credit cards still work. No issues with the cards according to the issuing banks. The plastic cards work without problems. Readding the cards to the app fails and the cards show as incomplete in the app despite getting a message from the banks that that the cards were added successfully. Deleting the app data, uninstalling, and wiping the wallets all didn't help. Seems like a general mada problem that rendered this app useless practically.

Latest update keeps crashing when open. Lots of reviews now all say the same thing, and it has been two months since this flawed update was released without any fix! Had to uninstall the App. Why don't you just revert back to the previous version? Because Everyone seems to have problems with this release! PS. If i could rate it ZERO stars I would, coz it doesn't even start up!

Constantly needs to be wiped and reinstalled, nfc card adding doesnt work with credit cards and photo scanning works 10% of the time. after the last update i cant unlock my phone to pay, i have to launch the app before tapping to pay. I love mada but this app has been inconsistent for many years with no sign of improving in reliability or user experience.
