No issues with the app. Works well. Easy to navigate. I'd recommend adding anything you may think you want to purchase to your cart, if you exit for any reason before checking out you'll lose it, can easily remove if you decide not to purchase. This way you don't lose the item. Easy to apply your rewards or coupons as long as your logged into your account. Supper fast to check out.

Awful app. Every time I try to do anything with my Macy's credit card within the app, it prompts me to log back in over and over and just takes me back to the main screen when I back out. Most recently, I scheduled a payment on the app but it never recorded it. Luckily, customer service dropped the late fee, but incredibly frustrating. Samsung S22+

Don't waste phone space on Macy's app. Set up a profile on their website - it offers the same profile tracking benefits. In the past year, Macy's has destroyed their once top rated app. (Re: App "upgrade" 10/9/2021) 1. No separate saved favorite item "Lists"; old lists have been combined into one long list. 2. Still annoyingly returns you to the *top* of your saved list after viewing an item, rather than to where you *were* on the list. 3. Now less "Filter" options for shopping results.

I'm standing under the flickering florescent lights in a mostly vacant Macy's. The one staff person I find has no idea how to add things to a wedding registry. "We used to have a scanner," she says wistfully. I think, "Oh, the app!" I open it. I give it camera permissions. I give it location permissions. I click the barcode scanner. All I get is a warning, "We're having technical difficulties." Same when I try and click anything else. I'm thinking maybe it's time to register somewhere else...

OK, 1 year later & I find no improvements. I continue to shop Macy's because of their quality & selection, but their site is still annoying at best. One year ago I wrote: This app is slow to respond. And, if after looking at an item & I hit the back button it doesn't take me to the last screen, it takes me clear back to the beginning & I have to reset my preferences. An exercise in frustration.

You can only see your credit account summary. You cannot see any "recent card activity". You get a pop up that says something to the effect that "sorry this information not available". Definitely it Ely needs fixed. As of 9/27/19 this app doesn't recognize my credentials and I can't log on!!!! Completely worthless now. I have to use a desktop to shop or pay my bill or check order status. Junk.

Is SUPER slow to load anything. Has options to view and manage credit cards but will not actually let you view them. You have to do it through the website not the app. When I press back, makes me start all over with searches. I've had this app for over a year and nothing's changed. Macy's clearly doesn't care enough to have developers fix these things.

Not bad. Considering how massive Macy's inventory is, this app is pretty impressive. So far, my main gripe is that every time I add or remove an item from the cart, any discount code I applied disappears and I have to enter it again. This could make it easy to forget to reenter it, because I shop online by adding lots of stuff to the cart, deleting, adding, on and on, sometimes for days before I actually place any orders. Otherwise, it's an impressive app. The search function seems to work well.

Everytime I start browsing it shows some items and then stops, so if it's suppose to display a 100 it only shows 30 and it won't scroll down anymore, it does it every time. It's annoying! Now if I'm looking to the sales and I click on an item and then go back to the list of items it takes me to the very top. Update was only good to mess up the app.

No option for zero stars. It is fustrating to use it. It has the credit card info but never able to actually see the summary, transactions, payments. Every single month I have to keep trying to make a payment and cannot see any previous payments or transactions. When using the Search options to look for products, the results are not quite accurate. I do a lot of online shopping and this is not the most friendly app.

This app works fairly well. Searching and filtering work really well, so great job on that! It has the full Macy's selection, which is awesome, and great sales! The app has gotten more stable, so I added a star. Now for the less positive. Making lists in the app does not work great. Package tracking is TERRIBLE. Why they would not allow you to copy a 20 digit ups tracking number, I have no idea. Overall the app works well enough; Macy's can do better.

Easy to use. Effective way to shop, monitor, and track all online transactions as well as a good reminder prior to purchasing to take advantage of any additional discounts you're entitled to. Would like it to include all in store transactions purchased with Macys card as well, but it doesn't. Hope that's a work in progress, otherwise, very nice app.

Overall, a great app, but it has its quirks. I like the feature of being able to scan an barcode of an item in the store and check the price. This from back when we used to go to physical stores, that is. There are some features that need improvement, such as search, ability to log in without having to enter a password every time, and viewing the items price and description from the previous orders. If these features are added, it would make the shopping and return experience much better!

App is easy to use and navigate. The filters are limited, so search results often yield hundreds and sometimes thousands of products. The app also randomly refreshes so perusing a page with lots of search results is super frustrating because it refreshes, reorders the products, and takes you back to the top of the page after you've already looked at lots of products. It's an issue that's been going on for several months and needs to be fixed.

Excellent! Pros: save items to a list and get notified when they go on sale. Search function is great - you can really leverage it to get some great deals (show me boots priced between $100 and $200 that are discounted 50% will find boots for $200 normally priced at $400!!). Cons: The displayed list of items is a bit quirky. When you select an item to view details, then go back to the list, it often loses its place, or sometimes resets to the beginning. Very annoying.

After the enhancements, i can say that the Macy's app is more user friendly now. Before I can't directly place my order from the app, now it is really convenient. Just 2 clicks away, my orders are already placed. I have one issue though. When browsing through a lot of items, the app slows down and sometimes hangs where the entire app is no longer responding. Previously, I don't experience this issue. But over all it's commendable.

I absolutely hate the app. It constantly throws me back to the top of the page when scrolling and shopping or when I click on an item then go back to continue browsing. Every time the app needs an update, it doesnt allow me to login to my account to pay my bill unless it is up to date, which sucks when you have no phone storage to update an app. I wish this would change!!!
