Very impressive. Beautiful artwork. Fun scenes and characters. There's a bit of a learning curve on the puzzles - some are very abstract - but once you understand how the game is played, it's a smoother ride. The puzzles can still be very challenging - but I don't want something I can solve in a snap and be done with in an hour. I personally enjoyed this ride. Well done.

Get lost in an interestingly gloomy robot world as a cute, noble, persistent little hero who saves the day and defeats the bad guys... The music is great, the art is great, the plot is great, the world is great, and the characters are great. My only gripe has a lot to do with my personality; I'm not very good at puzzles and this game is full of them, but thank goodness for hints!! All around good game. It stokes my imagination.

Excellent game. Told my brother (19) about it and he went "meh". Convinced him to play it while I was visiting. Caught him playing it every free chance he had. Great job to everyone involved in production of this game - well done and thank you. Editors, the following is the only suggestion I have; that the character reverts to "normal height" when directed to move to a new location. Redoing a sequence because you stayed in short/tall mode only frustrates.

This is not terribly conducive to playing on my Samsung phone. My fingers are way too big or the graphics are way too small. I was able to stick with it until I got to Space Invaders, but regardless of how well I could play it in the arcade in the 80's, I just can't get to 1000 kills. I guess it's going to be time to uninstall since I'm stuck. Hoping I didn't pay for this if I can't physically get through it. I'd feel better if it was an issue if not being able to solve the puzzles!

I didn't get to finish this on PC because I lost my save, so I was so glad to see it here. It's such a charming game that's way too short (still a good price, but I just want more of the world!). This version worked very well, especially when I accidentally discovered "cursor mode," which lets you move a cursor around the screen like a mouse and took a lot of guesswork out. Great puzzles, fantastic art, all around great game. More please.

Gorgeous graphics, adorable characters. Sadly, encountered several times the game would not allow me to direct the character to do what was needed, and I even checked an online run through to ensure I knew what to do. It just sat there blinking and staring at me. I really wanted to enjoy this, but it became more frustrating than enjoyable.

This game is beautiful and distinctive. It's really well-rendered in that the interactive components are clearly a part of the world. That being said, it makes for some unfortunate pixel-hunting because the items you need to manipulate aren't always intuitive and what you need to do with things is sometimes even less clear. Fortunately the game has a built-in hint book. Unfortunately, those hints are strangely non-linear and confusing.

Beautiful and clunky. Obv, this is a gorgeous little story. The color palette and animation are inspiring. But there are many moments that render game play clunky. The character requires tools to succeed: keys, oil, abandoned objects. But often, the game refuses to recognize them. You end up waiving them around the screen for what feels like an eternity. Also, blast the person who requires us to win a match of Connect 5 against an AI. That's just rude. Lovely game, but I was cross at points.

I enjoyed it. Cute robot love story. It's a short game . Puzzles and stopping the bad robots. At times it was tricky to figure out what to do next making the whole game a puzzle. One thing that got old through the game was ; that there is a locked hinting book that gotta play a mini game to unlock but if u ever leave the area and return that book locks back up and gotta repeat that mini game . Other than that it's really good/cute story line

A great puzzle game. The art style and music is really cool and I like the characters a lot! You'd really care about robots. Plus the story is interesting and funny, and the ending is nice. I think a few of the puzzles are too hard like the 5 in a row, but I thought most were fun and creative. If you don't like puzzles that can take some time, this game might not be as fun for you, but I think it's great! The only thing is for small phones, some objects/buttons in the game are small to tap.

I purchased Machinarium as part of a mobile Humble Bundle many years ago, and again on PC, but I just bought it again on Google Play because I wanted to leave a review. It's still one of my favorite adventure games and I've been playing them since the dawn of the genre. The hand-drawn art is timeless, the puzzles can be quite challenging and the delightful story is told in a way that anyone can enjoy. It's a masterpiece.

Very challenging game, with amazing artwork. I enjoy the game, when I can play it. I know this is a mobile port and was a PC game first so it's unenviable there'd be problems but it is just unbearably touchy and finicky. I'd often find the solution to the puzzle I was solving but would be discouraged because I dragged the item to the environment but I was just a smidgen off and it wouldn't work. The mini games are also bad because I would often close out while trying to hit the directional arrow

Great came. Really cute. Puzzles were difficult enough, and the game was just long enough. I had to use the hints a few times, which require to play a brief platformer type shooting game to get the hints. Very cute. Even on my S9+, the graphics seemed too small, and zooming isn't enough in many cases, to see things that need to be handled or picked up. Game controls, particularly for the maze game near the end and the space Invaders arcade game could use some improvement.

Great music, great puzzles, great game. It is entirely possible to complete the game without hints. Everything in this game makes perfect sense if you pay close attention. TIP: The controls might be finicky, sometimes I'd perform an action that was correct and the game would miss it. Make sure you repeat the same action a few times in subtly different ways to make sure it's a mistake.

This was fun! Beautiful art, touching story. As with all point-and-click games it can be challenging to find that one thing you can interact with, but if it were easier, then... it would be too easy. The one frustrating thing is that some of the transition animations are slow and unskippable, so if you accidentally touch a staircase you have to wait a bit. But if you're playing this, you probably have the time to spare. Finished without any hints. Note that one puzzle does require sound on.

This was a super fun and Very Challenging game! It's nearly impossible to beat without using the in game strategy guide. I loved it altogether though. To the Developers, I would recommend adding more in game clues to your puzzles. There was a few there, like with the Dragonfly/Butterfly and that door, and the elevator/light bulb designs, but with the bomb battery, and the one at the end, before you fly away. After spending an entire day trying to figure it out, I had to use the guide. Part 2 plz

Unique. Fun art and story. So much game potential, I really wanted to like it, and for the reviews I thought it would be much better, but the user interface and responsiveness combined with the exactness that the game requires is just dreadful. You spend twice as long trying to get the game to do what you want rather than actually solving puzzles. It gets a little better as the game goes along, but I'd expect more considering it's a paid game.

Really cool game concept, fantastic art. There's one really glaring issue however, which is that the controls just kind of suck. This was pretty clearly designed with PC in mind first, which makes some things you need to interact with on screen very small and hard to notice. Sometimes pinpoint accuracy on touches is required for things. This makes "just tap on stuff until something actually happens" a frustratingly common occurrence. Also the robot should be able to walk full speed at any size.

An adorable game with a sweet storyline! The puzzles were entertaining, and I love that you can play a mini game for a one-page walkthrough if needed. My only issue was that some spots were very particular about where to tap, so if you're fat fingered (like me), you might find yourself occasionally wondering if the game glitched on you or you're missing something. A quick Google search revealed I wasn't alone and just hadn't tapped in the exact right spot.

I loved this game! Incredibly challenging but great hints if needed and best part? NO ADS! AT ALL! even for hints, you just play a fun little mini game to unlock them. I'd take screenshots though cuz you have to play it again if you leave that room and come back and need the hint again. Also, save occasionally, I almost got stuck cuz of a mistake on my part, but thankfully I figured it out, but would have been easier to just load a save point, just in case.
