Don't waste your time downloading this app, it constantly makes your notifications go off every 2 or 3 minutes, and unless you are walking 7 to 8 miles a day, you really can't get anywhere close to getting what you need to exchange. 20k steps a day is ridiculous. Also, if you forget to convert your steps into coins, they reset at midnight. Not worth the hassle.

Decent until the challenges run out. Which will happen soon because once you do enough challenges to unlock the next set, it won't recognize whichever challenge was the last one completed. There is at least one other reviewer that had the same experience as me. I logged a service ticket six days ago and have received no response. I would recommend downloading Cashwalk and Winwalk instead.

The steps you have to walk to get to the cash out is ridiculous. You can get more coins from surveys, but this isn't a survey app. You can't convert your steps until 2,500. Even then, it's only 25 coins. You get another 25 for every 3000 or so steps after that. It isn't clear that it's adding those coins to the previous ones, not that you're getting 25 coins and then 75 and so on, which is how it looks. I'll be deleting as soon as I can cash out. UPDATE: Deleted without cashing out. Not worth it.

Been using it for a few days now. It's a fine app and I would like to keep using it but I have one major issue with it that is keeping it on my phone. The fact that I have to go into the app and secure my point manually. One, this I'd a terrible feature that should be reworked somehow, but 2, I work nights and I'm very busy around midnight so I often miss all the points I accumulated in the hours leading up to midnight and it's very frustrating. I often walk more than 5,000 steps in that time.

The app's UI is decent, but that's just about all there is to like, unfortunately. For starters, it doesn't count as much as half the steps you take. The coins you earn can supposedly be converted to cash, but that takes awhile and you need to manually add your steps to your coin balance every day. There is no gift card option. The concept of this app is decent, but the step counting and rewards leave a lot to be desired, making it a waste of time. I will be uninstalling.

More cashout options please. It's pretty good. It syncs my steps correctly most of the time. It gives other options to earn coins & amount of coins for payout isn't that hard to reach if you walk a lot and convert the steps daily. Games are a neat way to get more coins. The survey option didn't work great for me but that's okay. Layout is cool. It's honestly a fun app. Love it. One thing I wish was different is I wish you could redeem for gift cards. The only option it has is for bank account.

Highly recommend. Walking is tracked via Google Fit, which means you can have other similar apps all generating cash simultaneously. The money goes straight into your PayPal, which is pretty rad. That does mean there is a little delay before you can use it but it's very convenient regardless. Walking won't earn you many points though. There are options for playing games, taking surveys, and trying other apps that can reward points and that's where the bulk of the earnings are.

I would have rated zero, but wasn't an option. Downloaded and did all the starter stuff, synced with google, then walked around house for 10 mins. Zero steps. Clicked the "I can't see my steps" and it said it wasn't linked properly, so I linked to the apps pedometer. Continued walking and upon checking the app, still zero steps. Gave me 100 coins for the app pedometer, but what good is that if it doesn't really track steps....🙄

The worse app. It calculates your steps, sure. But... It states, convert your steps to get your coins or they are gone at midnight, when I select to convert, it wants you to play games, etc. So, if you don't do anything other than steps, and the convert option doesn't put the coins in your account, you lose all your steps the next day, I've been walking for days now and only have 1000 steps, because they released every night. Deleted the app.

I was using macadam for a couple of months. Today I walked and walked with the idea of my steps in the back of my mind, excited to see the results when I finally came home...0. Waited for it to load. Still 0. Can't find a way to contact support on the app. I'm annoyed enough I just deleted it. I never made enough coins to cash anything out despite all the walking and gaming on double coins. 2 stars instead of 1 cuz it inspired me to walk more, for a while.

Macadam - Walk And Earn is a motivating app that incentivizes walking by converting steps into rewards. The concept is fantastic, and it encourages physical activity. However, the rewards can be limited, and it takes time to accumulate enough for meaningful rewards. The app's interface is user-friendly, but occasional glitches and syncing issues detract from the overall experience. Overall, a solid app for fitness motivation, but could use more rewarding options and improvements.

When it worked as advertised, it was great - for about a week and a half. It connected to Google Fit, and gave me access to almost all features. After an update, Macadam disconnected from Fit, and wouldn't allow transfer from S Health or my watch (the in-app pedometer wasn't a viable option because I don't usually have my phone on my person). No matter what I tried for importing data, I couldn't find a functional solution. Nice idea.

This app is such a cute idea, but almost nothing functions properly. Multiple of the same pop ups dispite dismissal, pages and challenges that just stop functioning, the app not recognizing a challenge is complete (it literally won't accept that my profile is complete no matter what I do), no way to easily access business partners on the web (every link keeps you in the app), and too much emphasis on everything else they want to offer besides steptracking; the steptracking is mostly functional.

I just downloaded this to try it out, but already I've noticed that a few times the app will freeze and not track the steps I take. It sometimes reaches a point where I have to fully close out the app and reopen it to try and get it to work again. I also found out that if I go over one goal to the next and don't collect in-between, I'm not able to claim those coins.

App seems okay for my useage. Points accumulate very slowly for me, but that's fine by me. They accumulate accurately. I only have one gripe. The main background color is blindingly white and all of the graphic are brightly colored. Please come up with a dark mode, you're blinding me every night when i open the app to validate my steps!

Step counts are *always* off between my fitbit and the app by anywhere from 16 steps to 50 steps (so far). Support tells me to "uninstall and reinstall" the app when that happens (multiple times a day) rather than just fixing the issue. And now im getting randomly signed out of the app for no reason. IF i get a cashout at all, then i'll give 2 stars but no higher until the step count bug is fixed.

Meh. I regularly do or do close to 200 coins a day. 1000 coins gets you 0.50 cents. So do the math, in ten days you can make a dollar just by walking. The trouble is the app resets itself after a period of you don't claim it and it also does not track every step or appears not to give more coins if you over 20000 steps a day. Not really the best app to earn money walking, even with the little games and offers they give you does it seem worth the hassle.

Gonna be honest, I thought this app was gonna suck. It doesn't. It is relatively well put together and works well... for the most part. My one gripe is that you can get certain challenges to validate an exact number of steps. The problem cones from the fact that the app doesn't update your steps number anywhere near as often as it should, making landing on an exact number almost impossible. Unless these challenges are changed or made easier (say validate within a certain range).

this is a good app for the steps to be rewarded and it does pay out. however I walk a lot and I was hoping it would pay out faster. I got most of my points from surveys because I didn't want to wait over a year to finally be able to cash out. if you're looking for an app where you can get paid to walk while also having other options like games and surveys all in the same place it's a good app. but the walking alone isn't worth it so I'll be deleting it.

Update after a week. The app is pretty convenient and straightforward. More rewarding than MOST money making apps. Im leaving at 3 stars because a lot of features are buggy or just don't work. Case in point, I spent 3 hours playing coin master (promotional game with double rewards for playtime) and got maybe an hour worth of rewards. Absolutely killed my battery for very little pay off.
