A great port that's fine-tuned. It takes what's good about the M64Plus emulator and gives all the options to make for a great experience. Even the trickiest games such as Gauntlet Legends and Pokemon Snap that have consistently failed to be emulated well appear to run nicely. I have almost beaten Gauntlet Legends finally. I got stuck, watched some YouTube videos of people playing, and noticed the graphics looked even better thanks to the higher resolution! I cannot recommend this enough.

I find the user interface to be a little confusing and I'm having a difficult time with configuring the analog stick. I'm using the Steel Series Stratus Duo which works perfectly with all the other emulators I use on my S8+. I can only calibrate it in 3 directions. When I try to configure the last direction one of the other directions will either become unmapped or it'll map two directions simultaneously for the one direction. I will give 5 stars if/when this issue is addressed.

This is an amazing emulator. With it, I have completed Super Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask. There are a couple of graphic bugs that I have found, but nothing that really ruins the gameplay. The Expansion Pak is not built into the emulator, so Majora has some lag and bugs, but is still playable. Controls are amazing, Saving works well, and overall this app works very well.

This app is pretty good, runs games well etc. Advertisements on loading ie the artificial 10 second buffer they put there to force an ad are annoying, especially since I paid to remove ads, but it's not that big of a deal. What I find most annoying is the lack of an options menu for things like volume. I'm playing Ocarina of Time while listening to an audio book, and the game is louder than my book. No in game options to adjust volume, and not having one in the app is such an oversight.

Best N64 emulator I've used, I've tried various others but they had some plug-ins issues like missing textures or choppy audio. Well, not this one, graphics, audio, and controls are just flawless. Also, it's easy to set and switch touch control presets for different games when I'm not carrying my controller. And best of all... It's add free 👍

I do not use emulators of any kind all that frequently, firstly; so I cannot give a super technical in depth analysis. M64 is VERY easy to get set up. I have a directory full of older N64 games, and simply set the up all the games for ease of use. The only con to M64 that I can think of, and is highly subjective especially because I am new to M64 and may not be used to it is the on screen controller. It works good enough for some games and you could almost forget it with others.

Pretty good android emulator. Sometimes it takes a lot of messing around, but you can get just about any game to run well on this emulator with the right settings. Wish there were more options for touch control configuration though. The motion sensor works pretty well for games like star fox, or for any first person aiming you'll need to do in games like Banjo-Tooie.

Update: It seems that 5 years later Banjo Tooie works great out of the gate. Looks like improvements have been made, and since I just got back to an emulator hunt, I thought it was worth updating my review. Is working great! 10/16/17: It is simple to use, but in trying to play Banjo tooie, I get white backgrounds in most conversations as well as when using the 1st person view. The game speed option fluctuates and is not consistent when increases.

W.O.W! This emulator is leaps, bounds and worlds beyond any other N64!! The rendering alone showcases an incredible picture with vibrant colors without so much as a glitch!! The configuration is incredible without needing any effort to setup. Save states, load states, in-game saves work flawlessly!! The buttons look just like the classic N64 controllers too!! Every single detail was clearly considered and incredibly thought out. Even the cover art is automatically pulled in when showing game selections from backed up games!!! If I could give more stars I would. Extremely well done!!

Perhaps the greatest app to ever invest your time and effort. I have had many hours just tinkering with settings for individual games to as close to native as I can and they run beautifully. Even adding texture packs can be rewarding and revive a playthrough of a game you lost interest over the years. I have had many games on the Google play store but the very first app I download is this one given just the infinite amount of fun you can have not only by yourself but with others. Truly a masterpiece that is only getting better with time and technological advancements with all of our mobile devices. The developers are doing something truly amazing and I'm sure I can speak on behalf of most in saying thank you all for your dedication.

Best N64 emulator on Android period! Wide array of customization options and included plugins (useful for the wide variety of hardware configurations). If there's an issue, chances are there's an option to resolve it. Control configs are perhaps not as intuitive as I would like, but are nonetheless extensive. No annoying ads to interfere with the slick and attractive user interface. Device used: Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (Adreno 845 / 6 GiB RAM)

Awesome emulator that really works with no Ads! One thing I can't figure out is how to swap the video display and the onscreen input. I have a Blackberry, and the keyboard acts WONDERFUL as input. However there is a large black spot where the onscreen input used to be. Aside from that perfect emulator with loads of options and texture support. If you know what you're doing, why don't you already have it installed?

I love this app! It's the only emulator I use on my phone, and it runs most games amazingly! I've noticed very little lag when playing any games, and there's been no crashes on it. On screen controls work beautifully, games are shown in the same quality as a Nintendo 64 would render them (but runs better lol), and I'd say that this is really convenient! I get to relive a lot of childhood memories with this emulator.

This is a great emulator, by far the best emulator I used for my phone. There is a slight problem, but it's not very major. The xbox controls are not definitely the best, mabye they can fine tune it some, but it's still 5 stars. Very little to no input delay, you have plenty of customization alot of options for rendering, cheats and other stuff. This is a legendary N64 emulator for sure.

This is hands down the best free N64 emulator around. I had some issues with the bluetooth controller at first, but with minimal research, I was able to fix it. Also, mapping the controls may seem difficult as there are no instructions. But by creating a new profile, I was able to map controls that suits my playstyle. Thank you for this lovely emulator! You're certainly helping with my nostalgic need.

Works great. The controls are frustrating, but that's not the apps fault. Runs smoothly and looks good. Easy to use and works exactly as described. Menu is great, has fast forwarding. This is my first emulator, and it took me about 10 minutes to set up and get going. Considering getting a discount vita for the full emulator experience. FYI, no games are included on any of these apps. I recommend googling 'n64 roms' to find some.

If you're going to put ads in the free version, you need to remove barriers to moving to the paid version. Configuration, save games, and controller profiles all need to transfer automatically when the user upgrades. Otherwise it just makes them regret paying. It also wouldn't hurt to include some new feature with the ads version to make it worth updating the app. For example, being able to long-press on a title and make a home screen shortcut to it.

So I booted up castlevania 2 on this bad boy and was instantly thrust into some nostalgic gaming. No extra downloads other than this and the rom itself. There were some minor graphical issues in the game's menu before the actual gameplay but for 1. Im sure there's a setting to fix it and 2. This was an "out of the box" setup I was testing. Also, I did not see any ads for my trial run. Initial impression is this app is awesome! Only thing to change my mind is if ads suddenly pop up DURING play.

Faster than the retroarch core, at least last time I tried it. Generally works pretty well. Would appreciate the ability to hide the onscreen inputs (rather than wait for input from a controller). Shame the adverts have been added in, you basically have to choose whether to give on the latest features or wait ten seconds to load every game (although there is a pro version it is a bit steep). I had trouble using with my front end launching games last time I tried the newer (advert) version

Works perfectly, no features need to be added. Bug fixed probably need to be made for others, but I haven't came across any bugs on my device. In fact the devs have gone above and beyond and probably deserve a 6/5 star rating, because not only can it emulate, but you can do extra stuff like add hd textures, force games to run at higher fps even if they weren't designed to, and emulate well above native resolution.
