If you don’t have access to an internet connection (Wi-fi or data), you can still transact with no extra costs. M-Pesa App works offline, for free! You only have to give SMS permissions
It’s secure
You can use FINGERPRINT or FACIAL ID to log in, or authorise your transactions through M-Pesa app. The M-Pesa 4 digit PIN can as well be used!
This is the only official and authorised App for accessing your M-Pesa account in Tanzania (GSMA Mobile Money certified). Vodacom Tanzania cautions customers against downloading or attempting to use of any other App that purports to offer easy access to M-Pesa.

I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the continuous efforts in improving the app. The recent updates have indeed enhanced the user experience significantly. I would like to bring to your attention a potential improvement for the M-Koba service. It would be beneficial if leaders within a group had the option to send messages through the app or USSD, ensuring efficient communication with all M-Koba members, similar to the transaction notifications they receive.

Very disappointing that for the past 3 weeks, I have been trying to transfer money outside. The app keeps on failing to finish the process, and to-wit, that's the only service that pushed me on Voda. I gave it 2 stars because it's unpredictable.

A very useful app but in two days I have had transaction problems in two different scenarios. The first one being a withdrawal but to my suprise the money was withdrawn to another agent's number. In second scenario, I was paying to my own LIPA number but the money was paid to the number I don't know. I was refunded but I don't think it is safe to use the app.

1. App keeps telling me about bank statement but when I click it it lands me to the play store app page to update it. The bank statement option is no where to be found in the app. 2. The app has limited menu(services) option to appear on the home screen. Yes you can customize but only limits 3 option while there is still pleny of room to add more frequently used menus on the home page to make it a "one click app" for all frequently used services. Apart from that great UI, great app.

When it works it's good, however, warning! Money can go missing. I recently tried to update my Vodacom data package, the transaction didn't go through and yet my money is missing. I have been into Vodacom a couple of times, spoke to members of staff, 4 days later, no refund and no data....Not pleased.😠I think I might be moving to other service providers permanently. No more m-pesa or Vodacom.

Great App, it helps alot conducting M-pesa Transactions. But recently there is a bug, were whrn you want to send money the recepient network is not detected but also transaction details does not show up i.e transactions fee etc. It keeps saying RECEPIENT NETWORK NOT DETECTED either enter manually or try again and even if you do either it does not work. Please fix that

Opens very slow, and has very small font size. This is a problem for people with eye problem, who don't ware glasses, . As for me I find it very hard to read through. Or maybe if I could zoom the words. But bcoz it's an app isn't possible to zoom in and out so that I can read easily. All in All the App has proved to be an easier way to do transactions and effectively.

Once an amazing App... then out of the blue it started crashing.... I uninstalled it... tried a reinstall but fails to configure.... 😔 I keep getting an error message "the SMS could not be sent because you have reached your SMS limit".... when I take the only option "ok" the App closes.... and I have sufficient airtime on my phone.... Using a Samsung s6 edge....

Great app, simple to use and very interactive with the new redesigned UI and fast login sessions... I hope you could integrate a place to check the phones balance (MB's, minutes & sms) within the app just like you added a section to buy credit and pay for bundles without having to go through the trouble of opening a different app. (For ease.)

One of my best app to use around my country is Vodacom app ,it is always give me an extra big door to serve myself, I also get many of my biggest ideas on transaction

I have been using this app for almost a year now and have never faced any problems so far. It runs smoothly plus it's easy to use. Everything from sending, withdrawing to bill payments has been made easier through this application. I only have one suggestion, If a customer has an outstanding balance from SONGESHA make it possible to be seen on the balance with a negative sign. Also waiting on the M-PAWA service to be available, been waiting for it far too long. Apart from that all thumbs up!!

Generally, the app is functional and useful most of the times i have used it. There are a few things that the developers can improve, first is the Show Balance feature...... its not realtime, immediate top ups are not reflected immediately i have to close and reopen the app, second thing.... sending money to other networks using the app doesnt always work, throws random errors so i have to use USSD as fallback.

I would advise you to improve a bit. I think it is not bad to copy from Airtel app. Airtel app is very user friendly where by most of features are found in one stop point I can put it that way and that you access them once you open the app even before entering the pin. A pin is requested when transactions are involved. I think you have somethings you can learn there.

Hello, Vodacom. I'm experiencing issues accessing the app. The app prompts me to update, and even after doing so, it still asks for an update. Can you please help me resolve this issue?

The app is great, but nowadays, when I want to send money, the withdrawal fee option always say "unavailable" doesn't display the amount.

fast and accurate but some failing and unfinished transaction are not fixed for the moment. Especially when paying by M-pesa, 3 days to work on unfinished transactions? seriously? make some improvement on this!...

The app looks very good but i am not very sure if this is for only me, I am not able to create a virtual Mastercard. Whenever I click a create button it stops and gets back to create a new Card

I love this app, cause it makes everything simple. However, for some reason some features recently stopped working. Features like mpesa visa card always gives errors whenever I try accessing it. It takes a really long time to open and sometimes it just doesnt open at all even withthe right password. Also, it informed me of an update but, whenever I searched for the update, there wasn't any. Please resolve this issues.
