It's a great, brain workout. You get 3 different games a day to play for free (some new, some are repeats). Plus, you can go back and replay games you have unlocked. There's also a bonus meditation included. You can unlock new meditations as you listen to the basic ones. Game repeatedly asks you to pay for upgraded "premium". Which is a bit annoying to continuously deny. Otherwise, fun to play!

I am worried about cognitive decline so I downloaded Lumosity and have been using for three months. Overall I think it is helping (even the free version). Plus most of the games are enjoyable. I have noticed that I don't have as much fun in the areas I'm deficient in until I start improving. This, along with the scoring system, different game levels and trophies for good performance, gives me a feeling of accomplishment and keeps me engaged.

This was fun during the trial so I paid for an annual subscription. After less than a couple months, I've grown very frustrated with it. Most of the games test how well you tap your screen. I lose mostly by tapping just off the small buttons. Word games are tough because I have to backspace to retype over and over and I run out of time. And the word clues are mostly pretty bad. I got this because I've taken Elevate about as far as i can go, but it is far better and more educational than this!

Helps with memory. I saw an improvement. The train game saved me! The description mentioned the game worked the part of the brain for ability to listen. That part of my brain was injured, as with head injuries people often talk non stop, finding it difficult to shift gears to realize the other person is wanting to respond. My relationships were suffering. The trains, at first I could only get one or two. I played repeatedly for two-three hours daily to mastery. Now I easily listen.

The free premium trial was good. The games are fun. One HUGE problem, though. It costs 13 DOLLARS A MONTH(after free trial). After the trial, you only get 3 games, randomly chosen every day, not even a full "workout" apparently. The games are good, but not even CLOSE to being worth that much a month. I also heard they were sued for misinformation, so that's also pretty shady. Honestly, if occasional, non-intrusive ads could help mitigate this, I'm all for it(prob not). Overall, don't download.

I've been using Lumosity for years (premium for two), and I loved it, but the games have just been lacking lately. Masterpiece has weird shading that either conceals the shape you're supposed to fill in or shows the outlines for where the pieces should go. Word Snatchers gives weird definitions that are sometimes just wrong. Not sure if there was an update or what could've caused this, but it's very frustrating.

Overall, games are creative and fun! However, there are some bugs: The beaches game that trains memory states I already chose a particular object when I did not. We are not talking 20 objects later; we are talking about 2-4 objects later. My memory is not that bad yet. Also, the seed planting game gets stuck, not the signs that are permanently placed as part of the set up, but the signs we are to move. Fix these bugs and I'll give 5 stars.

logic games & mindfulness. on the free version you get only 3 a day, varies day o day and you can't go back, therfore it takes a pretty long time to get to all the games to view if it'd be worth it to pay. most of the games are really fun, all are challenging in their own right, some much more addicting than others. after a week I'm on the fence about actually buying the product for the games, but what really shines is the mindfulness. well spoken. creative expression went into this app!!

I really enjoyed the challenge your app provided over the last few years. But unfortunately I can no longer brain-train w/Lumosity. After a recent upgrade of my Samsung device, I am now required to sign, or log in, in order to access my free account. I wish to remain anonymous, as the challenge for me, was to improve my skills, compared to MY previous high score, or top level achieved. It was a GREAT WAY TO START THE DAY, & I will miss playing the assorted games, and the insights they provided!

I've been using the (app version) for almost a decade. Ever since then I've improved in all areas. Definitely got me better to learn during Hs, mainly because in my opinion education will tune out common sense in favor of learning. This app has games in which you're going to improve outside either this be into sports, at a job, or managing your life. Down side its an app, so you can't always be able to have time for it and the reminders are kinda curl.

Easy to use and rarely buggy, with responsive support; but new games and analytics, promised for years, are never delivered. I'm occasionally frustrated with particular games, eg, in a math-logic game there is sometimes more than one way to answer correctly, but if it's not the programmed answer, it's marked wrong; in a word scramble game, the clues may be ludicrous or simply wrong without context. These and other shortcomings made me drop back to the free version after several years of premium.

When I had a lumosity membership, I LOVED it. It was so helpful. I'm epileptic and it helped with a lot of cognitive problems that come with my epilepsy. I hope to figure out budgeting better so I can get it back. It is the best brain/cognitive training app in my opinion & experience. The layout, games, improvement stats, mindfulness exercises, etc. Very recommended if you can keep up with the price, which is actually a worthwhile price.

I really love this app and I paid for it for one year with the advertisement of new games. I never saw any new games so I finally canceled my premium subscription and went back to playing basic. I would be more than willing to pay for a yearly subscription if we got new games once in a while. This really does help and I used it as a stress reliever after our home was flooded from hurricane Ian and we had to live elsewhere. Give us some new games and you can make more money!

I like that the free version of the app switches the 3 games that are offered in the daily workout each day so you get a variety of brain games to play. This is one of the few free apps that doesn't throw a bunch of ads in your face, which I really appreciate. Nice to have stats of how you've done and how you are doing to see if you're reaction time, problem solving, and memory are improving.

While I do like the app and believe it helps things like memory, I dislike how the two games are locked because I have the free version. What annoys me most about it really is just the constant reminder that The two games are locked every time I do the workout. It is a very smooth and easy app to use. I will say it doesn't lag or anything like that.

Worked well until I got to higher levels. Higher levels are just designed to see the user fail. Also all the games require high rates of speed even if game is supposedly designed to measure other things . Math games, though they don't give you extra points when speed times increase are designed to ensure failure by requiring speed. Same with language, attention and flexibility games. Moving on to other apps that are designed to actually improve learning then to make sure you fail

This is really good but it could def use some inprovments. The way the games are set up are randomized which is fine but when i look a the catalog of all the games i notice that it gravitates towards certain games and barely allows me any others which i feel is a bit unfair for them. Next i think there should be an option to like/favorite games so ceratin ones can be played/given to the user more to help with their brain Overall if those things get worked out it's a 5/5 stars for me :)

Overall pleased with the games on the app. It would be nice to see new ones periodically added, but I get it it takes a lot to make something new. One thing I do not like is that password recovery is a nightmare through the app. It sends you an email to log you into the app through a link in the email and all it does is send me to the app store to download the app which I already have and it is up to date. So I will be able to get in eventually through a desktop, but the app is a dead end there.

Creative games that are fun and challenging. Explanations of the science behind the games are fantastic. Difficulty increases with progression. You can feel it working (subtle brain tingles), and it feels good. Not to mention, if you don't have the $ to pay for it at first, the free version gives you access to enough to enjoy and make it worth your time. Which I personally respect. Thank you, Lumosity. Illuminate the world.

Simp, fun, effective at brain processing development. After 1.5 years of playing on and off, this app need a level selection button. Especially for the pirate game, the number sequence game and the elevator game. On the elevator game, I kept thinking it was wrong. I screen recorded a game and rewatched it and IT WAS WRONG. I'm still playing it for the other games but it needs a level button. Some are just too hard, I'm not learning anything I'm just being dragged along.
