long way to go! In comparison to apps with a subscription base, it is really worth buying once. The app is not perfect, improvements can be made.. 1.I would like to see what the controls are making changes in the photo in real time, like a gradient filter on top of the image that is being edited. (like it in the lightroom) 2.There is no background blur feature or to add DSLR like depth. 3. the sky filter looks too dramatic to be true, it would be nice if I could adjust the amount of filter.

Not a bad app, but not a great one. I was slightly disappointed overall, unless you get your images perfectly straight every time you would need another app just to straighten. The filters or what they call LUTS, are pretty average, it's hard to tell one from the other. There are better apps for looks and filters. The controls are different but once you've got used to them they are pretty good esp the Enhance option. I won't be subscribing just yet.

Not bad at all, just disappointed that I have to buy the app. I spend nearly every Software on PC always on Lifetime subscription. I know the development has to be paid but when you buy a lifetime subscription on neo now you receive the mobile version for free. It would be awesome to give it to longtime followers too.

I've been a long time desktop Luminar user and really like all Luminar products. Until now. Promising app but delivers pictures full of black artifacts so basically useless. My android photo editor works better. Got an answer from customer service, but after several folow ups without an answer, I give up. Moving to Lightroom mobile and I lost 40 euro with this. Stay away

I am already a user of the pc version, and paid unlimited access for the mobile one because I really enjoy this software. In the mobile version, I find that there are nice features, but two important things are missing (or I fail to find them): 1) sliders are very sensitive and hard to regulate finely, I'd like to also have the option to set the values manually to a number. 2) I miss the HSL selective color options, which it is crucial to make some pictures pop Any chance you'll add these?

Great BUT no resize? I almost bought the perpetual license as i love the sliders and dials, the collection of tools and the outputed images. BUT..... I'm glad I didn't because I cannot resize the images (I less I'm missing something) this is a vital function for sending images to clients or HQ. if it is there, then better tutorials or help is required

As a long time user of Luminar Neo (9 years), I expected way more. It's been reimagined, and that's great. But it's rudimentary at best. I want HSL control. I want curves. I want masking. I want to be able to save recipes and apply to other photos. Or, am I just using this wrong? I am surprised (and appreciative) features like Skin, Body, and Relight AI made it into this app. For now, I'll keep using Snapseed until this app catches up.

overall this app has been surprising great to use... . its simple layout, easy to understand and learn new techniques. .. yet the editing features are powerful & capable enough to take on any image! UNFORTUNATELY THE APP IS CONSTANTLY CRASHING NOW SO UNABLE TO EDIT 1 IMAGE BEFORE ITS CRASHED AGAIN AND ANOTHER IMAGE WIPED OR DELETED.... .

Decent editing tool but needs more to justify its price. Sliders while responsive are small and require precision to adjust to a certain value. Snapseed which is free has dealt quite well with this issue. AI tools are good but don't offer significant advantages compared to competition (i.e. no noise reduction options). Relight is an excellent feature though!

09.07.25 I always raise my rating by one star if the devs reply to my review so three stars now. To reiterate the issue I had with this app was how confusing it was to use so I didn't even complete a picture edit. The issue was probably more "user patience" in taking the time to learn how to use it. 09.05.25 I wanted to give this app a try after a recommendation but not a fan. The first thing I tried was the eraser and it was terrible so I'm just uninstalling because I have better apps.

I just liked this after downloading this app yesterday, the UI of photo editing is very good, but it has a lot of drawbacks, it does not work properly and it cannot be saved after editing unless you take the plan and I have got its plan in 50% off, it has been told in this app, for lifetime I have 50% off India's price of 1599 I took but I did not get the details of this plan, you can edit photos on the app, but I will open so much, it is even more important to work on this app, there is a lot o

Leaves a lot to be desired, the UI is nice, but as of recently the 'AI' functions (relight, structure, sky) will either turn half the image completely black and won't resolve until I hit undo, or will apply the effect normally and then export the picture with the same blacked out parts. The filters are largely useless and often have to be applied heavily to notice a difference. There's no grain or denoise options + the export rarely matches the preview. Not worth the cost at the time of writing.

As of current update, I feel it doesn't justify the price I paid for a lifetime plan. However, there are various features/tools need to consider add-on in the next update which I think it's crucial such as: tone curve, HSL/split tone, lens correction + chromatic aberration for RAW editing, batch file editing with catalog (so you don't always have to edit from scratch), to include EXIF data in each photo after export (along with geotag), gradient/selective filter, grain effect adjustment.

App doesn't work when not connected to wifi or data, huge minus. Anyone who edits photos "on the go", on a plane, remote area, on vacation in a country where they don't have a data plan and connect to WiFi at the hotel is severely limited. Needs GUI arrows for fine tuning. Everything is a slider or wheel which always moves when you lift your finger. Needs a brush for spot adjustments of exposure/temperature. Could also use batch adjustments or a copy/paste adjustment function for faster edits.

For $45, if I can't get layers (which I can on a free app like Snapseed), then is it worth it? I can't find any option to install my own skies either. It definitely seems very half baked. I wish I had not dropped money on this - but hoping that they make it into a complete product. Edit 1: If I could make this 0 stars, I would. Why the hell am I not allowed to share a full size image to other apps! after dropping $45 on this POS software!

Personally, I love the ease of editing on the fly instead of waiting until I get home to process all my photos 📸 on the PC. plus, all the other features in this program are so intuitive, be it adjusting the contrast or removal of unwanted things in the image it just works for me beautifully...but like always check it out and you decide. Peace all.

Great, but still needs some work. adjustment sliders are way too sensitive to dial in perfectly. object eraser is sub-par for an AI photo editor, and usually destroys the photo rather than enhance it. back and front spot lighting adjustment can be a little wonky sometimes. other than these issues, everything else seems to work pretty well. not sure if the price is consistent with the value of the app, but with some updates, it would be worth the price.

The app is okay, but it appears to be missing many of the organizational batch functions that would make it a useful port / alternative to other android photos apps/ Lightroom mobile. On it's own, the UX is good, the features are fine, but it doesn't compare to other basic editors, and the one thing I WISH was ported (in this case Lightroom mobile does) is the ability to organize collections properly within the app like you can on desktop. Those elements could justify the cost over alternatives.

Don't try to purchase the lifetime. I got an email from Skylum about a limited time 50% discount at $29.99. The license doesn't link to the app unless you make the purchase through the app without the discount. It shows up in my Skylum account but I can't use the license I paid for. There is an restore purchase under the trial pop-up when you login in the app for the first but it doesn't work when you tap it. Buggy software, there are better options. **update seems to be working now

It Has some innovative ways of editing photos, but it's very clunky, it feels like it is struggling to get the job done. I was really hoping that the AI Eraser would be more advanced, and while it doesn't object to working on "Any types of Art" , it's very crude to work with, leaving behind very scary results. Also you cannot save your work without paying. The one time pay is always attractive especially nowadays, but sadly l am going to have to pass on this App. I will be unloading this one. 😞
